Usually very good but the last two times I’ve been here the chips were hard and undercooked.

Food always cooked on to me and grate service by the mum and daughter. I'm happy to buy from this chip shop all the time and cheaper then the crap chicken shop next door

Last two times we've had food from here it's resulted in being ill.. seems they cook their food in used engine oil and try to get that lovely 3 day reheated crispy coating. The curry sauce is possibly the blandest thing ever known( brown lumpy sludge) the only redeeming feature lis they give you half a sack of potatoes per portion ( ideal if you have no taste buds and weigh 400lbs plus) kebab is like shoe leather and I think they put it through a grinder because it's such small slices.. probably rather starve than subject anyone to this.. I'm off to eat a shoe!

Just been to smarts fish and chip shop and really disappointed. Chips under cooked and cold. Fish not much better. Only reason I go is it's walking distance. Whaddon wY is so much better.

Big portions but fish better than the chips in my opinion.

Half way through my kebab and I found a hair on the pitta bread. So I couldn’t finish it off. This is not good at all. They need to wear hats and hair nets.

Best chippy in MK in my opinion. Large portions and more reasonable than most.

Good Portion Sizes. Quick Service. Many Items Freshly Cooked to Order. Good Menu Range. Kebabs are Superb. Friendly & Accommodating Staff.

This fish and chip restaurant is my go-to fish and chips. It is an amazing place for a lovely lunch or dinner. I recommend the battered sausage or the fish cakes.

I would add they have Food Hygiene Rating of 5, my works canteen only has 3!

Chips were soggy and unsalted. Fish was oily and not very tasty. Nothing special but fills a need if you’re in the area

Ignore all the old reviews, I think they changed hands a couple of years ago as all the staff changed. This is a perfectly good local chippy that I would happy recommend to anyone. Prices are low, portions are big! Staff wore masks throughout pandemic and continue to as of March 2022.

Just ordered pie chips and Donner wrap Chips tasted reheated Donner wrap hardly any filling asked for meat to be well done on grill and it weren't and was pink will not order or eat from there again would happily of given 0 stars but had to put one to put review

We went into order fish and chips. Firstly no staff are wearing masks. Secondly once we ordered our food. We stood outside and watched a member of staff take food out of a cabinet, take a bite of it and then put it back in the cabinet. Then proceed to do it again and lay the food he was eating on other food in that cabinet. When we went back into complain the person in question said sorry I forgot. I would never frequent their premises ever again and I suggest you don’t either.

Really nice cant fualt that at all, only issue is price a little too much but other than that cant moan at all..

Small and friendly take away, reasonably priced and good quality food

We use this chippy every couple of weeks and over the past 5 years, never had a bad experience with the food or service. Always consistently good and unbeatable value, imho the best around! Would highly recommend!!

looks like they have new owners, not nice now

Used to be really nice here but the last time we went it wasn't very nice, however, just thought it was a blip. We went back today and honestly it was uneatable. WontW be going back there now, even the kids wouldn't eat it!

I can’t believe how quick this chip shop has gone down hill 2 times I have had upset stomach portions are smaller and quality is terrible and the staff are so rude it’s unreal will not be going ever again absolutely disgusting

Just had chicken and chips, absolutely disgusting, breast of chicken was deep fat fried, burnt tough and crispy, wouldent buy again, will try whaddon way.

Surprised at the bad review, I assure you that is a one off, as the people in there, are friendly to me, always have been, been going there for years, never any problems. You have to realise that their native language is not English, so you have to speak clearly to them, to avoid mistakes. But on the food front, excellent quality, very difficult to find a decent chip shop any more, so am very glad these people are here. Try there Kebab's they are to die for.

UTTERLY DISGUSTED..What a horrible service, little dark haired guy messed up order after I said to him twice what it was as questioned price, was rudely told to just go look at the menu as he made up the order. I was confused So for a third time I said order was wrong.. He talked to me like I was crud for his mistake! Really nasty, Literally threw my change into my hand and gave order over with a 'here' with no apologise just rudeness talking over me saying he asked twice! I told him thrice what the order was!! What a horrible rude service!! I was very calm and polite as usual and then had him talking about me and my order in a language I couldn't understand which by the tone was unpleasant also since he had to remove the extra order he had charged me for. Very unhappy to Be spoken so in front of my grandson for paying for their service... Disgusted..
