Beyond amazing food we got 2 all American grills (not for the faint hearted) the most enjoyable meat sweats I’ve ever had. Got 2 cocktails and they’re fantastic. Our server Rowan was so friendly and is a credit to TGI. Best TGI ever… atmosphere and food will be back

We came for a tapas style lunch before a busy Magic weekend. Service was impeccable, food was delicious and staff were extremely friendly and polite. Thank you all, this was our first visit to a TGI’s and definitely won’t be our last!

This was to be our final visit to TGI Fridays after viewing the new menu . However Rowan( the most amazing TGI host we have ever met ) persuaded us otherwise. With his help we navigated the menu and replicated the memorable TGI Fridays flavours . Far from our sad faces on arrival we left on a high . Definitely going back again . James shout out for you too; what a star.

First and foremost I cannot really fault the food however, you do need to be clear if you are staying at the Premier Inn next door as this reduces your bill by 20%. Ours wasn't however, the manageress was accommodating with us the following night. So if I start with the good, then I can reference the niggles. I had the steak and asked for it medium/rare - it was cooked perfectly, probably one of the best steaks I have had for a while. I did leave some of the edge of it, however that was more because I'd talked too much and my friends had long since finished and were waiting on me otherwise I probably would have persevered. The lettuce had a blue cheese dressing (I think) which I wasn't really looking forward to, however, I really enjoyed it. I also opted to pay the extra £5.00 to add the prawns as we didn't have a starter. On the second night I had nachos with pulled pork - they were nice don't get me wrong but I'm not sure they were worth the money. The plate they were also served on was far too small - I would have rather have had a bigger plate so you could space the topping out so you could get some on the nachos that were plain underneath. Turning to the other niggles, on the first night when I had my steak, we did ask the server about the onion rings, he said it didn't come with onion rings and to be honest, he didn't really seem that interested in what we were saying. This despite the fact one of my friends believed it came with onion rings too and me specifically mentioning the cajun coating reference. If I were the server in that position, I would have grabbed a menu and checked and then brought the menu out to verify (if we were wrong or rectified the problem if we were wrong). We felt a bit daft but just got on with our meal. It wasn't until the second night when reading the menu that we realised we were actually correct. So much so when I ordered my nachos, I asked if I could be cheeky and order a side of onion rings that we should have gotten with our steaks the night before. The server mentioned that the steak didn't come with onion rings, only tomatoes and a mushroom (we had requested no tomatoes the night before but we didn't get a mushroom either). I then pointed the menu out to her, to which she looked surprised and mentioned the menu had been changed in the past week. But in all fairness that wasn't our fault and we do feel that in the case the menu should be beside the chef to ensure the meals are going out with the right things. I did flag to her there was confusion on the website as on the main page it mentions tomatoes and a mushroom but if you choose to download the PDF it shows tomatoes and onion rings. I'm not really sure she took that on board - therefore I would flag to your website team to update this. The server said she would check with the manageress and we did actually get a side of onion rings to share. The second niggle was one of my friends ordered a burger but instead of normal fries she requested sweet potato fries. She had not noticed there was an extra charge for this. As she had not noticed this at the time of ordering she felt a bit aggrieved that she was charged an extra £2.90 - apparently this is charged as an upgrade. We note this is actually marked on the menu however, constructive feedback might be for your servers to flag? I know in our case my friend would have just had the normal fries because the food is quite expensive. It wasn't until we met up with other friends the following day (after our first meal) that they mentioned the 20% off and we realised we hadn't had that reduction. They had received the reduction but they were a bit disappointed because they had booked for their daughters birthday and had actually ticked the box for a birthday when they made the booking. They wondered if they would get a free drink or dessert or something - but nothing - not even a happy birthday for their daughter. I'm not quite sure what the purpose is of ticking the box is? In any event, after meeting up with our other friends I called back in and had a chat with the manageress and explained the niggles that we had and asked if she could find a compromise, particularly as we had missed out on the 20%. The manageress was accommodating and said she would arrange for free drinks if we were to come back that night (I did feel that the coke could have been included for free as 20% of our original bill came to £24 though). That all said, I am happy that she was accommodating in the first place as not all places would do this. So yes, there were niggles, yes the food is expensive but I would recommend the steak and the chicken strips - my friend had the chicken strips on the second night and I thought they were really tasty. Chicken strips with some kind of steaky marinade - it was that nice if I were to go back again, I would definitely opt for the chicken. Thank you to the manageress for being so accomodating.

We were staying at the Premier Inn hotel next door and received 20% off food the food bill. We visited on a Friday night and expected it to be busy however there were only about five tables taken in the whole restaurant. The staff were all really friendly however the food was poor and tasteless. The meals are expensive and the quality is poor.

TGIs used to be a good place to visit for a nice, quick and easy meal out that was never really cheap, but it certainly wasn’t really expensive either. Now, the portions seem to have reduced significantly and the prices have gone up. It’s £21 for sesame chicken strips and chips. That’s all. Nothing else on the plate other than that… for £21! Crazy. A half rack of ribs is also £21 😱 just can’t believe the prices. The food in my opinion is not worth the high prices. The one great thing is the service, the staff are very friendly and welcoming but it’s not enough to make me return.

Here in Leeds on business, stopping at a local hotel. Thought I'd pop out for a few beers. TGI fridays it was. I've worked in hospitality management myself for a long time many years back, and although I only popped in for a drink the welcome, friendliness and conversation I got from a team member by the name of Matthew was great. If I'm in Leeds again I'll be sure to pop in.

Called in for cocktails and "nibbles" after visiting PMT music shop. Lovely cocktails (2for1 Yay!) and relaxed atmosphere. Mathew served us and was really friendly and helpful.

We come in after work now and again, our business is next door, all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Maddie behind the bar is lovely, always happy and friendly and is a real credit to the company.

Ordered the chicken strips to start (shared) they were fine, arrived hot, can't complain. Ordered the ultimate American grill, it arrived shortly after the starter (we hadn't finished the starter) the onion rings were missing, I didn't complain, I wasn't going to eat them anyway....

Not much to say if I’m honest every time I come to TGI Fridays the staff and atmosphere is brilliant have never had an issue no matter if it’s busy or quiet, but today a young lady called Leah was absolutely great to have as waitress I feel like I’m always complimenting people but they really do stand out and make the experience much better, to include every member of staff was helpful so I will 100% be coming back might make a visit to TGI Fridays a weekly thing thank you to the TGI management and staff you’ve got a brilliant business going on 🥇

Travelled a long way was tired and came to tgi Fridays with my mum for some cocktails and some food. The served was amazing KAT the manager served us mainly but all the staff came to look after us where smiling and so friendly and happy to help. The food was out of this world. I had the ribs and highly commend them. All in all an amazing experience and Kat and the rest of the team should be proud to have such a great restaurant.
