Amazing food and lovely service. It was just a little cramped as they have tried to put as many tables in as possible (I understand they want as many people in as possible), it just felt like I was out to dinner with the next table.

Absolutely fantastic experience, our server, Iana was super polite and efficient, service really is a part of a restaurant experience and we feel Iana improved our evening. The steak - wow, best steak we've had in years, we will definitely be adding this restaurant to our list to return to Thanks, it was brill 😊

Just had lunch today. After a bad experience a couple of years ago we were a little nervous to try again. But Omg. So glad we did. We booked on line for a busy day we were lucky to get a 12.45 table. Our greeting on arrival was quick, informative, and easy. On shown to our table we were informed of unavailable items which I really like. Our Waiter, Easton, a fellow toonie, was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We head Scallops to start, mouthwatering and amazing. Steaks to follow so beautiful and a cocktail and bourbon to finish. Fab, fab,fab.

I've been to Miller & Carter twice and I'm always impressed with the food and service there. I didn't have to wait long on my meal. The waiters were always attentive and they made feel welcomed. I celebrated my birthday there and a big shoutout to Gareth for making my birthday really special (and Ian from Newcastle!). I'm definitely coming back and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of dining there.

Been to a couple of M&C's but this one was definitely one of the best for food, service and atmosphere. We had a waiter, whose name I didn't catch, who was from Hungary..... nothing was too much effort and he really made you feel welcome. The food was also great.....so thank you Miller & Carter Leeds.

Fantastic food, not cheap but you pay for quality. The waitress who served us was very attentive.

Called in on a Saturday and had the two course fixed price lunch. The rump steak was cooked to perfection and came with a generous side of fries and onion loaf. Bradley, our server, was great. So friendly and helpful. This is our first visit to the Leeds restaurant but we will be back soon.

Had an amazing dinner last night for mine and my partners wedding anniversary. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We ordered steaks off the set menu and they were both cooked perfectly.

Food was perfect as usual. Service was extremely poor, made to feel unwanted and rushed out by server Brad as we chose to not have another drink or desert, told we had to leave the table which was disappointing. Asked to remove the ‘optional service charge’ on the bill and was made to feel uncomfortable for doing so.

All staff excellent, food still at a very high standard. Cocktails 2 for £14 great idea to add value with your meal 5🌟

One of my favorite places to eat! I had the limited edition sirloin and it was absolutely beautiful! Service was amazing by Leila, she was very friendly. Had an amazing date night here as always. Will definitely be back again soon.

Food was nice although the rump was a bit tough. Got served by a man with an attitude problem. Spoilt the experience. Reading some of the reviews this is clearly an issue so why hasn’t it been sorted out.

Visited the Leeds restaurant again today having dined there on a number of occasions in the past. Eva was a very pleasant lady, as was the lady who showed me to my table (apologies for not clocking your name badge). The food was very nice as always but the experience was soured by the arrogant, jumped-up young chef whose rude and demeaning attitude towards Eva and her colleague was a disgrace. I overheard two separate occasions where Mr Tattoo's thought it wise to openly berate the ladies in front of other staff and customers. Sort him out Head Office, no need for it.

As a vegetarian I shouldn't really comment on the food

Had the reasonably priced lunch menu. Just under £20 for a three course meal on a Saturday - great price. Service was good.

Wow an amazing experience we came to celebrate our son leaving for army and we had the most amazing steak expect Gareth serve us !! We couldn’t have asked for a better evening the food was great and Gareth just made our night with his personality thank you so much !

Went to the Leeds restaurant in the light arrived about 1.30 didn't book asked if we could sit in the window was told sorry I don't have any one to serve you there. The restaurant apart from may be 6 diners having lunch. The girl said you can sit at the booths I said over near the left she said no down the other side Which was near the toilets. I am a regular at the Leeds restaurant and did not want to sit near the toilets. I said politely no sorry I don't want to sit there so my partner and I walked out and went to the cut and craft another steak restaurant where we were able to sit were we wanted. After going to your restaurant for years never been treated like that we will not be going again and will not recommend it to family and friends again. Are you not going to answer my reveiw.

Fab! First time I’ve been after it was highly recommended. Fillet and sirloin steaks delicious, sauces tasty, veg, puddings, wine, coffee all very nice. Service was brilliant, and atmosphere relaxed. Half an iceberg lettuce in a bowl was different and I didn’t really get it; change from olives though, or bread rolls.. Would definitely return and would now recommend too (for what it’s worth). Thanks!

Excellent food, service was a delight

Didn’t quite live up to our expectations after the amazing food and service at another M&C two weeks prior. Never received a feedback form which all other restaurants we visited provided. We had booked for the Al A Carte for our anniversary but went to an alternative restaurant.

Came for my mums birthday and had such a wonderful time. The food was amazing and the service from Leila was perfect - very friendly and attentive. The man on the bar was also very friendly and accommodating (sorry I didn’t catch his name). The evening was topped off with a lovely birthday plate for my mums dessert and glass of fizz. Thanks to all the team for such a great evening!

I absolutely love miller & carter, the steaks are to die for and the customer service usually second to none. However my last visit was far from the perfect visits I’ve had before. Our waitress Holly seemed not too bothered with how excited we were to be back at our favourite restaurant with barely any chat other than what can I get you and rarely cracking a smile. The Long Island iced tea is still one of the best I've had and the restaurant is still well kept and clean. I got the ribeye and my partner got the fillet. Both slightly undercooked, but we ate them anyway (as chefs ourselves we know how hard it can be in a busy kitchen), the wow factor was just missing this time and some of the magic seemed to have gone. Onion loaf overcooked and barely warm and the beef dripping tasteless, side of brisket rather burnt but side of chorizo lovely. To say we were disappointed is an understatement, we may return with high hopes but not for a while.

The food was outstanding but the service wasn't. Didn't appreciate the waiter talking about having his stitches removed and this was whilst we were trying to enjoy our drinks before our starter arrived on our 16th wedding anniversary. We didn't want to leave a tip and the waiter didn't like that at all just pulled a face and didn't want to engage in any more conversation with us utterly rude we would have tipped him but my husband didn't like the fact he asked for a tip it should be your choice to tip. Thank you to the chefs our food was absolutely amazing we will be coming again soon

Food and drink fabulous as usual from a Miller and Carter, but have to say the customer service from Hannah our waitress and Jamie the barman was outstanding. Friendly knowledgeable polite and professional, both an asset to the company.

Ewa was our waitress service was very good, food was terrible though, onion loaf overcooked to the point it shattered when cut into, chateubrian was mostly fat, chunky chips were also overcooked won't visit again due to the food but service was very good

Had a lovely meal as alway. The main thing that stood out was our waiter, he was absolutely brilliant, explained everything each time he approached us very attentive and excellent customer service.

This restaurant is great for casual dining or celebrating a special occasion. Have dined at this restaurant many times and never been disappointed with the food quality or the service. Great choice on menu.

Food was cold. Sent it back, came back cold. Manager took it off the bill but explained that because I ordered a fillet - it's not supposed to be cooked through and hot. Said this was normal. Normal to eat cold food? Eaten here many times before and we were going to bring family members here later in the week but we have now cancelled. This was the worst experience ever.

Our visit in the evening of Wed 14 Aug 2024, was excellent, made even better by our server HANNAH A! Hannah explained the way the ordering from the special offer menu worked (steak and a cocktail for £20). She suggested the best cut of steak and how best to ask for it cooked (my son wanted to try a blue steak but Hannah politely pointed out that blue rump may sometimes be a bit chewy so suggested a blue sirlion) and also suggested that my hubby and I get our rumps as medium rare and they were incredible! Hannah certainly knew the menu (and that goes for food and cocktails)! She was chatty but very polite and engaging. We asked her about the area as we were staying for a few days and she suggested a few touristy places of interest and places to eat during the day. Overall, a great experience and I'd recommend eating here to anyone. I only dropped 1 star for atmosphere as it was so quiet but that wasn't down to the staff. Thank you HANNAH A for making our evening an even better experience . 🥰

Based on reviews for the best steaks in leeds we plumped for millers, I must say it didn’t disappoint, great selection of drinks and and a copious selection of meat that would tame the most ferocious carnivores. We didn’t opt for a starter as we wanted to leave room for the main course. But they do have a good selection. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. We choose the recommended Butchers block and impressed we were, the meat was cooked exactly as we asked and the presentation was instagram worthy. Juicy steaks, an extra side of lobster tail accompanied alongside saute’d greens and fries. I must say everything was excellent. We did find room to squeeze in a cheesecake between us and that was light and tasty. As we were celebrating a birthday we were welcomed with a glass of Prosecco, This place is somewhere you must try if you’re in the area. We will definitely be coming back

Booked here for 4 of us for the lunch menu on a Saturday afternoon. Eva our waitress was very attentive and polite. Drinks and food were all excellent quality and served in a very timely manner between each course. I was especially pleased that Eva waited till all of us had finished eating before taking the plates away, which you don't get in most restaurants nowadays. My mum even got a pleasant and unexpected surprise as we were celebrating her birthday...a free glass of prosecco. Overall, a very good meal and time spent here. Would recommend and would go back again.

We were there to celebrate my partners 70th birthday. The food was very good indeed but the service was superb. All the staff were attentive and alert to our needs and out waitress Eva was simply outstanding. Many thanks to all.

Bradley our server was excellent . But the manager decided to attend a work meeting on his laptop behind us with no headphones so we could hear everything. Like being in the office so annoying. He did move but it was so frustrating he thought that was ok in the first place

In all honestly the food wasn’t the best, it was okay but not as good as I expected, especially as I have been here before a few times. However, Hannah A in the Leeds Headrow restaurant was so amazing and comforting! She has such excellent customer service skills and I believe she should be promoted as she looked like she was running the place ! And to be honest I would have left and potentially ask for a refund if it wasn’t for how amazing and caring she has been today. Hannah A saved my experience today at Miller and Carter Headrow Leeds. She should be working behind the scenes to create menus and manager others!!!! I am a manage myself and please please take my advice she is extremely educated and skilled

Our server, Eva, was really helpful. It was our first time here and she helped us navigate the menu and even the most ideal way to enjoy our food. The experience as a whole was definitely positively impacted by her amazing service 👏

Great place for a celebration meal

Lovely food. Our server Ian A was pretty good but a little "full on' at times. We didn't like how he was at the end in regards to the bill. We paid card and had kept £10 note to the side as a tip for him. Before we could hand it to him he said "Ooo I spy some cash" which made things a little awkward. He then took it upon himself to take it from the table and pocket it. Yes, it was for him but he could of been more discreet and at least waited to be handed it hence 4/5 rating.

Hannah A was lovely and made our experience 10/10. Gave a happy birthday board with a glass of Prosecco to my boyfriend for his birthday and was overall lovely! Couldn’t of asked for a better dining experience.

You get a consistently good meal in any Miller & Carter you visit. Extra good here was that our server pointed out Monday to Wednesday we could have a free cocktail with any steak.

Was served by a young lady with blonde hair in plaits (didn't catch her name), but she was extremely attentive and put guests first. Thank you for the great experience. The steak was fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble.

Visited for our wedding anniversary. Possibly the nicest food we have ever had, well worth the price and our server Holly was very friendly. Not a single thing to complain about.

We had a delicious meal on Saturday night, our waitress Hannah A was lovely and very accommodating. The bar staff were great, especially the young lad Sami, who was very charismatic and made mine and my partners evening. We will definitely be going back for more ;)!

I had an amazing dining experience and the best service with Eva. She truly made our night and was incredibly friendly, punctual, and professional!

We went as a group of 5 to celebrate my birthday. We were served by someone called Gaz, and by the time we received our drinks, we were ready to leave and had to change servers. He was incredibly condescending, impatient and downright rude. We were unsure which wine we wanted, and we tried to explain to him the wine we drank last time we were there. We were met with ''we change the wine list every 6 months'' and ''do you want to come to the bar and pick it yourself, I can be here all day''. We let this slide. After constantly being asked if we have been to a M&C(we have), he eventually came to take our orders.What was ironic is when we asked the difference between the 30 day aged and 50 day aged, he couldn't really explain it, when we asked for a recommendation, he said he wouldn't go for a fillet. He specified which round the table he will take the orders, we stated that one of us is not sure what we want so we suggested he starts at the other end. He simply stated he will come back when we are ready and left. When ordering and saying ''I'll have the same but ill have it medium rare instead of rare'' we were met with pointless remarks such as ''so its not the same then''. We were never met with such a childish attitude from someone with gray hair on his head. Whatever you do, if he comes up to serve you, just ask for someone else to save you a really unpleasant time. We ended up asking if we can be served by someone else, and two wonderful ladies ended up being great. Or just avoid all together and go to Mirfield or Harrogate.

Looked after brilliantly by Eva who remembered us from our last visit over a year ago. So friendly and food was excellent as always. Well done Eva and thank you.

We've passed by this place before, won't make that mistake again. Food was fabulous and service from Leila was great as well. Next time we're in town we will be here for dinner !!
