TGI Fridays - Glasgow Fort in Glasgow City

My 2 daughters came in for lunch today and with them being quite young some places dismiss them but not here. The girl serving them Amy B was fantastic, explained the menu to them and gave suggestions on what to have. They left feeling very grown up and delighted that the food was great.

Great food and very friendly staff. A big shout out to Kyle who served us last night. He was fantastic and a credit to the team there. MTFBWY. 😉 Kyle will know...

First time order, would order again, only complaint is that the can of sprite was warm.

Not impressed with this place Terrible service and food was a let down

Popped in on the way back from Ayr and so glad we did. It was a Monday evening and we enjoyed the bottomless chicken and the uptown set menu. Our waiter was Alasdair and he was so attentive and patient. He explained the bottomless chicken deal clearly, kept an eye on our refills and didn't have us wanting for anything. Such a great experience. The chicken was good, the BBQ wings were tasty and the portion generous. The glazed smash burger was tasty if a wee bit sweet. We were too full for pudding.

Wrong sauces. No blue cheese dip. Food cold. No hot sauce on boneless wings.

Restaurant clearly didn’t read the notes, as I had to bin the meals. Also, I eat regularly in the restaurant and the sesame chicken strips is bigger portion, than what you give for delivery. This needs to change ASAP. Also, please read the notes.

Service was ridiculous! staff took forever to do anything and food was absolutely nothing special, Pasta came out cold.

First visit here. Food was pretty good, pretty expensive for what it is though. Smash burger was tasty, chips were spot on. Mozzarella bites were lovely. Service, was great and not so great, waited a wee while to get our order in, finished our starters and waited 10/15 for our table to get cleared. Waitress was great, however might be understaffed and had to wait a few tables herself. Id probably visit again, was a good enough meal and the food was tasty. 3.5/5

Order was delivered quickly, but I paid for extra blue cheese sauce which was missing and one of the desserts was missing also - makes me not want to order again as it’s a hassle & disappointment to have key parts forgotten

Yet again let down by TGIs.... This really will be the last order.... Everytime something is missing. Very disappointing

Board outside Glasgow Fort branch, stating 20% discount if attending cinema above. This was a treat for my daughter who always enjoys TGi’s. My wife queried the 20% discount as we were led to our table. We were told not to worry, he would see us alright. He then highlighted the Christmas special, which was a starter and main for £21. Turns out the Christmas special did not qualify for the discount. At no point when taking our order did he bother to highlight this, even though we had asked as soon as we came in. To make it worse, there was no discount on the meal from the mains menu, or the drinks. The staff should perhaps think about wearing masks! I have sent 2 emails to customer service to highlight this, TGi’s have totally ignored them. This is a warning to anyone looking to use the claimed 20% discount. Will never set foot in TGi’s again, nor will my daughter. What a vile company.

Order didn’t arrive. It says delivered at 8pm, it is currently 7:22pm, therefore impossible. Placed my order at 16:58pm and been sitting for 2.5 hours waiting; time kept getting pushed back and hasn’t arrived. Horrific.

Good was not as good as before, arrived stone cold. The sweet potato fries were cremated and not as much chicken in the sesame chicken. Pretty disappointing for the money.

Ordered at 15.15 and didnt get delivered until 17.32 - delivery time kept changing. Food arrived cold and cake was bashed in the box as can of juice had been put in the bag with the food.

Added into delivery driver notes directions for where house was, had to go out to another street twice to find driver despite using the messaging system and giving directions a further twice after this

We ordered at 5:48 and waited until 7:40 to call to find out where our order was. The delivery time changed 3 times during our wait. Called the restaurant and they advised that the food was cooked and sitting waiting on a driver since 6:20pm. Contacted Just Eat and they said to wait another 10-15 minutes. £64 order put straight in the bin, freezing cold when it arrived at 8:30. Never again

This is the 1st time in about 3 years I have weny to TJI Fridays in the fort. I can honestly say I will never be back ever again! My grandsons hotdog meal at nearly £8 just for a thin hotdog in a bun that was to big for the hotdog was like rubber and hard. Our food was not to bad but definitely not worth the money we paid. Nearly £10 foe a starter & the plates were like side plates with hardly any food on them. There seemed to be about 4/5 staff hanging about at the desk by the door talking while a member of staff Ryan i think his name was was taking food orders & drink orders to our table and tables around us. He did come up & ask if everything was ok at the start of our meals and I hadn't noticed how bad the hotdog was by then. It was a bad experience 3 years ago with poor food. It's just not worth the money when you can go elsewhere pay the same and have beautiful edible food. Surprised it's still actually opened to be honest.

My dad had always wanted to try TGI's, however I don't think we'll be back, the prices have certainly soared since last time I was there, the music was very loud, and it was quite dark inside, our starters were good, and plentiful, our waiter (chris) was upbeat and helpful, however the mains were very dry and tasteless, we said this to our server and he gave us a discount although we didn't ask for one, you can certainly get much better value in other chain restaurants, which I'd a shame because TGI's used to be one of the best.

The food was quite cold when it arrived. I was also missing multiple items from my order. No way of getting these redelivered so had to ask for a refund

Honestly what happened to TGI’s!? It’s dreadful now, all about an app and you can’t do this or that and nothing is ever right. Service dreadful, atmosphere dreadful and food just crap now. So sad as it used to be so good :( No wonder it’s on the ropes and going bust!

I did the kids tgi fridays party for my sons birthday with his friends thinking it would be easier for us. The venue asked for us to pre-order the kids meals which I did. We arrived at the venue and told them it was booked for kids party and they seated us somewhere different then got moved to correct table. The 1st server had no idea what we were talking about he kept giving the kids menus and tried to explain we had pre-ordered their meals it was only adult meals that we had to order. The kids party was supposed to come with a colour in table cover, snacks, balloon animals etc and we didn't get them. I went and asked about this and got told that was not in the package I order... when it was and showed them conformation email which shoes this. They came over with the table cover when the table was full of kids meals and drinks etc. They then sent someone over for the balloon animals and they were ok but deflated after an hr. We asked 2 servers for the kids ice cream sundaes which were pre-ordered again. Took them over 30mins to come with these and that after I complained to the manager about everything. The manager told us that the venue are not equipped to do kids party's and unsure how to handle them. He then told us he was just covering from another location and he would be speaking to thr staff For something that was supposed to have been so easy it was a nightmare. Definitely won't be going back here for a kids party

Ribs were like…naked. Very unappetising don’t understand why the glaze option is given to you when they give you it with no sauce and looking like dog food

food was nice enough but full order was cold which was disappointing so had to try and reheat the whole orderwhich never tastes the same.

The sesame chicken is so nice, however from when I last visited the portion sizes have shrank and the prices have sky rocketed. Not really worth the money anymore. On the plus side, service was good.

My wife's food came out so cold and then was going to take any other 15mins to get ready when me n my son had finished.

I ordered a hot dog. It was disgusting. Bit into the sausage and almost broke a tooth on a large hard piece of I don’t know what. Can only assume it was a piece of fat or grizzle. Couldn’t finish meal and won’t order again from this restaurant.

Place very dark inside. Had the hot dog with pulled pork THE PORK HAS BONES IN IT nearly broke my teeth. Thank gdness I didn’t give this to the kids Never again.

Food was superb, delicious as your expect from TGI. Service not so great. Servers were friendly enough but scarce to say the least. Booked a table, and had to wait around 10 minutes for a table. Not normally an issue but when there was 4 empty booths (there was 5 of us), and a whole side of the restaurant empty then that’s a bit annoying. Food came reasonably quick once ordered. Tried to order another cocktail and waited ages. Managed to finally get someone’s attention and gave them the order, which they took. Waited ages again, got fed up and managed to get someone’s attention again to get the bill, and cancel the cocktail, to be told the cocktail was never ordered !!! Got to say, there was a fair few members of staff standing around too so I don’t think staff numbers were the problem. Waited about 15 minutes after getting the bill before we could actually pay it ! TGI Glasgow Fort, needs to do better!.

Arrived at the restaurant to be told we would have to wait 25-30 minutes to place our order as their tills were down? Surely a pen and paper would suffice?

Got the Sesame chicken and chips, more than half of it wasn't edible as the chicken was that hard.

Food was bland, really noisy, and took ages to get the bill.

Dirty tables. Our booth seat was badly worn and one part taped up with duct tape. Dirty floors and sticky menus. Under table full of old chewing gum. Staff around but all look stressed and running around. Overall not a great restaurant or product.

Ordered online came to pick up wasn’t ready was waiting for over an hour. nothing. money came out my bank but nooooo it was still gone so they rudely made me order again so practically charged me twice.

Have to say that some of the food was very overpriced for what you get.

Really enjoyed our unlimited chicken strips! Alasdair made the whole experience, he explained how it would work and was very friendly.

I use tgi Fridays every weekend for family dinner I must say this one has the smallest food portions ever I did mention to staff they apologised not that it's the waiters fault however I feel management need to address this this is my second time visiting same again small portions not good when you leave a restaurant hungry due to small portion sizes .

every thing is down hill now, use to be a good restaurant but not anymore, pricey not worthit.

We had a great time here. Food was really good and our server was excellent. Very attentive. Came over to refill cola when noticed the glasses were nearly empty. We all enjoyed our time in the Fort TGI's. Will be back soon

Pretty good! Kinda expensive but nice food, good atmosphere, friendly staff, and you can get rewards with the app. The chicken meal deal is pretty good but not fan of the wings

Very dark inside, take a torch with you,if you want to see what your eating. Food is overpriced and very substandard. This company is about profits not customer service or quality of food!!!
