Went with my friend to grab a comforting meal before the movie, utter disappointment. Staff’s lovely, especially Daureen, efficient polite & friendly. Food however is a whole other ball game - very bland, over priced, pasta was under-cooked and didn’t have enough sauce. The burger had a dry bun, overcooked chicken, & again not a great taste. I wouldn’t recommend.

Wish we'd read the reviews before dining here today. The food was dreadful and incredibly expensive. The corn dogs were tepid and the mayonnaise dip was sour. The chips were cold, burger was tiny and not worth the £20 price tag. The worst thing was the nachos. The home-style chips which should have been delicious were drowned in wet slimy cheese sauce so had gone completely soggy and were largely inedible. They were strewn with loads of pink pickled onion which made the dish sour and unpleasant as it collided with a few clogs of rubbery "real" cheese lumps. Barely any guacamole. Really dated restaurant, lots of crying babies. So expensive and underwhelming. Definitely will not be returning

Absolutely terrible service, waited over 45 mins for the starters to arrive and then walked out.

Not so much a birthday treat but a birthday torture! First, despite having booked a table, we were led unenthusiastically to a dirty table with sticky, stained seating,though the place was practically empty on a bank holiday Saturday evening. The waiter who took our order was barely intelligible, but we ascertained that there were no draught beers and only 2 lagers and 1 cider on offer. We ordered wings, fries and a mac and cheese side … and then proceeded to wait an absolute age for the food to arrive. There were plenty of staff standing around chatting to each other but no food appeared to be leaving the kitchen. There was no buzz, no enthusiasm, no delicious smells. We could hardly believe our ears when the exact same waiter who had taken our order approached our table, pad and pen in hand…. To ask whether we were ready to place our order!!! When we pointed out that we had ordered a good half an hour ago he just walked off … no apology. When the food finally arrived we were then asked ( by the same waiter) whether we wanted cutlery! Whilst you might eat wings and chips with your fingers, I tend to use cutlery for mac n cheese! The food tasted okay, but the mac n cheese was lukewarm. I had planned on ordering dessert, but all we wanted to do was leave. I had really wanted to show my partner this venue as I had previously found it a great place to eat when I last came up a couple of years ago. Sadly it was complete let down. I won’t be returning.

Food wasn’t worth the money, each member of our party found at least one issue with their meal, including stale burger buns and lettuce that tasted like chemicals, and left an unpleasant aftertaste. Considering each plate cost £20 alone, this was not the quality we expected.

10 minutes to get in the door despite a reservation. Was advised a hour for food and waited another 15 minutes before anyone came near the table to be told no barbecue sauce! Would have thought that was a basic considering the menu.

Booked for 13 people as it was a special birthday, table booked for 7.30, had to wait 30 mins for drink order to be taken and then another 20 mins for the drinks to arrive very slowly, by 9.15 our starters had not arrived absolutely disgusting, we walked out so my daughters 21st celebration was ruined, we ended up getting a McDonald’s. The restaurant was not even busy, if I could give 0 stars I would.

Booked a table for 7pm the place was empty waited a hour for our drinks to arrive and then another half hour for our food to turn up 5 members of staff on duty and loads of empty tables with clutter all over them second time this has happened to us in Bristol cribbs causeway .won't be returning unfortunately which is a shame as the London branch is good

2 star dining across the board. Myself and my partner questioned why we don't frequent TGI's very often as we walked in to the restaurant. A little over an hour later, I think it's fair to say we remembered why! Overcooked, dry food, poor service and a lack of atmosphere, not to mention a significantly streamlined menu since my last visit. I've no issues with this if it means the quality of food on offer is proportionate to the expense but sadly, this wasn't the case. £20 for a burger is outrageous IMO, even if you're doing it well. TGI's used to be my go to eat out but it just hasn't been able to move with the times. Maybe it's just this restaurant but it was jaded and in need of a serious make-over!

Absolutely terrible service the worst by far. Everything took forever. People who arrived after us got served first. The toilets were vile. Someone had flooded an blocked the toilet if you know what I mean 🤮🤮🤮 the food took about 45 minutes from ordering to actual service. Was dry and been left under the heat for too long. When confronted about the state of the toilet. The answer was it wasn't like that this morning. We were having lunch at 130 and clearly no one had done basic toilet checks 🤮 the restaurant was freezing cold. The decor actually cut one of the children on the shoulder. Unacceptable service and disgusting places to eat

Every now and again you have such a bad meal you wish you wonder how a business manages to stay afloat. Sticky tables, food covered seating and filthy cutlery… I blame myself for not leaving. The food was outrageously expensive but the portions are small and honestly taste like a Tesco meal deal, bond and sad. The waiters and staff share a vibe similar to what I imagine the passengers of the Amistad had. The venue is not a place you would want to revisit. Honestly, avoid this place, for the love of god, do not give these guys any more money.

Went in with some friends for dinner and was told it was a 15 minute wait in a half empty restaurant. They gave us the table and then nobody came to take our order for 45 minutes. At that point we just walked out. Absolutely the worst service I've ever had. Would never go back

Perhaps I simply have a nostalgic view of TGI, that sadly was destroyed on Friday at this particular Fridays. Servers were polite and friendly,but the reduced menu was further reduced by most things being unavailable. Orders took forever to be brought to the table, we weren't even offered a water on arrival. The toilets were disgusting and leaking over the floor in the gents. Items ordered but then found to be unavailable were not automatically removed from the menu. Dreadful experience, shambolic management who clearly have a "don't care" attitude, I will probably NEVER go back to another TGI so we'll done Cribs Causeway. Given the vast choice of eating options, it's my opinion that this brand is doomed if this recent experience is representative

Told to wait 20 mins for a table. Waited and sat down, place was empty. If there was a reason for waiting its good service to explain when there's only 4 other tables occupied. Food is incredibly expensive and completely rubbish. £20 for a burger that would only be acceptable to pay £8 for. Tiny dry chicken breast on a burger with thinnest bacon and completely drenched in chutney, was yucky. Partners fajita was all onions, and a chunk of meat that was half fat. Ridiculous for £50's worth of food. Will never come back and don't waste your money.

Had a very disappointing experience today when visiting. Had a table booked at 7:30 then waited 25 minutes for anyone to come and take our order Although a short wait till food was brought out for the price of the food we were incredibly disappointed at the poor quality of what was brought out to us. The parts of onion and pepper that would normally be discarded as food waste all through our nachos A burger which was just warm enough to eat. At this point it was a case of wanting to finish up and leave. Then waiting another 20/25 minutes from receiving the bill to actually being able to pay and having to walk round and chase staff members. For a friday night it was extremely quiet so there didn’t seem to be any reason for such poor service and not an apology was given. When leaving we heard other customers leaving and complaining as “ it can’t get much worse than this” before they chose somewhere else to eat. Things were awful throughout the whole experience and we won’t be wasting money in a place like that again.

Sat down for 35 minutes and no one came to take even a drinks order, so we got up and left.

Poor service, food quality has gone down hill and prices are so high now.

I had a great evening served by a lovely fantastic Ella K she made a huge effort making sure everything was okay and was just a great service

Server was lovely but too much thumping music and food was absolutely terrible. No refill drinks available so the only option for soft drinks was spending £4+ on one can of coke! Burgers were flavourless and overcooked and greasy, made us feel sick, bacon was charcoal, chips with maple bacon and sour cream were so overly sweet, absolutely extortionate prices for less than mediocre food. Do not eat here.

Awful experience this evening, food was the worst I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant. We only ordered two appetisers and left after as it was that bad…nachos were missing the sour cream, when we pointed this out the waiter said oh they ran out but neglected to tell us when we ordered!! The guacamole and salsa were just huge chunks of tomato and avocado?? The tables around us also complained due to the poor quality food. The place was nearly empty, with a tonne of tables covered in dirty plates, food and drinks. But the staff weren’t actually doing anything?? We felt sorry for our waiter, as he was just getting all the complaints. But when we commented how bad the cheese sauce he gave us the cheese sauce (no actual cheese taste though) that he gave us instead of sour cream, he said ‘oh it’s better than nothing I suppose!’. The toilets were VILE as well. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - Bella Italia across from it is much better!!!

Servers walking around with trousers half way down. Hair not tied back. Food came out incorrectly prepared. Dry and boring food, no spice or flavour. Server went MIA for half the meal. No check in on the food. Asked the manager for the bill, with a response with "Ask the server". The same server who went MIA. Tried to add food to our bill which we didn't have. Drinks came not on a tray. Meaning half of it was spilt prior to coming to the table.

Similar experience to many other recent reviewers. This place could do with a good long clean (Front of House and the toilets) and the staff need looking at, thoroughly miserable and not interested in delivering any customer experience at all. Our food took ages to come and the nachos were badly overcooked, again as other recent reviews sadly highlighted. Such a shame as TGIs used to be a place to rely on for a great meal and night out.

Good food but little over priced

Did we catch TGI on the wrong day? Maybe, but our issues seem consistent with some other reviewers. The good, chicken was nice, kids enjoyed their meal and having colouring/games book for them was a nice touch… although did have to ask for it. Our server was very nice The bad… They’d had a “busy weekend”, so when we arrived at 12.30 on a Sunday they had run out of refill drinks (no soda), one one beer on draft and no peas. Sure there was more, but that is what we were away of. They were down a few servers so didn’t have the nice area by the window open, had a dark booth with a broken seat cushion. The sink in the baby change was blocked. Mentioned it to a server who just shrugged. An hour later it was still blocked. The £5+ bowl of chips was half a breakfast bowl in size… mentioned it to the guy who brought the food out, made some excuse about portion control… no issue with that, but it’s not £5 worth! Salad came out with gone off leaves. This was swiftly replaced to be fair. Finally with the refills off, the choice (albeit limited) was for 330 ml cans of Coke, etc… £4.20 a go! Not been for a long time but place just seemed run down, food was ok, but nowhere near value for money and the fact they were out of a lot of stock lunchtime on a Sunday smacks of bad planning. Sadly won’t be returning.

Really slow service, about an hour before food arrived after ordering(it wasnt busy), everything came out bit by bit, and half was cold. Totally rubbish

awful service, food was a pathetic attempt at american cuisine. made food swaps on orders without permission, toilets were a state. salad was literally brown, took an hour to get food when not busy, forgot to give us cutlery leaving our food to go cold.

Went in today for some food in a group of six, venue seemed quite empty and not too busy but not sure if this was copeable for the team on. Sat down and waited about 15-20 minutes for any orders or who might’ve been dealing with us etc. drink orders were made took about 15 minutes or so to come out. Then food was awkwardly brought out by one person bring out two plates at a time with no help. Seemed unfair. Calamari came out dry, wasn’t seasoned with any citrus at all and sauce was forgotten. Corn wasn’t charred off on the grill. Super watery. Ribs were cooked well but the glaze sauce is too sweet for me should’ve tried the bbq instead. All in all not a great experienced, staff seemed stretched and not too welcoming either. Food was average but very costly don’t think il go back.

I have had a lovely day at TGI Friday Cribbs causeway bartender Ella was absolute amazing the food was spectacular and Ella even offered us a £5 cocktail menu 😱 all in all was a great experience.

I will keep it short. Kids meals are ridiculously small and pointless. Two hairs found in my dinner and one in my partners. Food was very bland and disappointing apart from the hair surprise considering the price and also parts of the order we're missing and we gave up waiting for them to arrive. The service was awful. What's happened to this place? It used to be a special treat. The front of house staff are utterly miserable and disinterested. One girl in particular was basically walking about giving the customers dirty looks the whole time. Honestly is was quite amazing how bad the service was and how resentful they were to have to serve you. Crazy. Never going there again. If this are remotely interested I highly recommend a anonymous shopper experience on a Friday evening about 18:00. If you think all the negative reviews are fake then see for yourself.

Sat down at 12. No drinks orders taken for about 20 minutes. We ordered food at the same time. It took 1hr to get our starters (we were only the 4th table in when we ordered). We also only got them after complaining to the manager. Food was fine, but nowhere near as good as it used to be. We were there for 2hrs. Service was appalling. Won't be back.

Food is good but service is poor. 20mins to order, 20mins for the basic food and then another 20mins while we waited for the waiter to finish having a chat with his friend. He had time to sing happy birthday with all of the other staff though, and then walked off again for a while.

Shocking. Terrible food. Had to send back a dish of chicken cos it was black and the manager tried to tell me it wasn't burnt. The dishes didn't come out together meaning my partners was going cold waiting for mine. The waitress even asked how the food was before I'd been served it. The dish I sent back never made it back out and the food was appalling. The prices are sky high and the standards are awful. The staff clearly don't want to be there and the atmosphere is non-existant. Not the TGIs I remember. Avoid.

We went last night and what a sad sad full from what is was Problems getting drinks Problems getting food all the food didn't arrive at the same time the last two meals were over 10mins later and burnt Spoke to the staff and manager who were all beat down understaffed and probably under paid as they all seemed very used to the situation of people getting up and walking out or removing all food from the bill Something top management must address or just close it

In arrival we were spoken to with one word, allergies? We said no and followed them to a table where 4 venues were placed on the table and we were left, not a single other word said. We were seated in an area with screaming kids and toddlers and had to ask to be moved to a quieter area of the restaurant. Tables were clean but floors and seats were filthy. Toilets were disgusting. We booked online and stated it was a birthday, no one said happy birthday, no mention of it. We waited a long time for our meal to arrive and even longer for someone to clear our plates, who asked if we wanted desserts, we were given dessert menus ms Delft for so long when we finally caught someone passing by we just asked for the bill and got out as quick as we could. It was my daughters 13th birthday and I didn't want to make a fuss. But left feeling really disappointed! Very poor. Surney they sent was very closed questions and gave me little opportunity to fully share my experience. ****AVOID****

I went there with my family , it was such a great experience . When I left I knew I had to leave a review all due to the amazing service we received from one of the Waitresses Doreen . She was so lovely and kind . All her meal recommendations were so good .

Avoid. Possibly the most mediocre food I’ve ever eaten. Large portions size doesn’t make it better. Save yourself some money and the hassle and just go to tesco, fire up the grill and make you and your family something delicious. The server we had was trying their best and was very polite.

Over priced. But you are in a catchment whenever you go near one of these places. Slow service. It's more about convenience than anything! Back again after many years. Still the same. Utter trash. Spend your money on a independent restaurant, get some decent food and an experience that makes you feel like giving a good tip.

Absolutely shocking, Went here 26/5 for my birthday meal with 7 other family members, table booked for 6, waited 20 mins for a drink and then in between serving them told me no cider asked for alternative one again out of stock a and again same response to another beer, bear in mind 6:20. Now on a Sunday evening. The meals were ordered, and by 7:15 first course served well my god the nachos looked like something my dog had brought up, the presentation was 0 the dish looked like it was thrown together how anybody would let that get to the table it is beyond belive, Further more the chicken strips came in some sort bowl well swimming around the bowl as there where small portions dry and again no care in presenting them, by this time we asked for a manager and further 10/15 min later turned up, before this some chips turned up and chicken wings, still no mains at this point, we decided to say no thank you to the offerings and told the waitress to return to chef as we are still waiting for a manager. She eventually turned up and my daughter showed her the nachos and she was shocked!! Okay we are paying premium prices for this food and to be served what we had was appalling the whole set up here poorly managed and no control over food. We clearly didnt pay for the food given as it was sent back. We await the response to this and ruing my birthday celebrations..

Delicious food but terrible service. Was out for a birthday meal with my family and the service was so terrible we all just wanted to leave. The restaurant was not busy yet we did not see the same server twice. We were not waited on at the table, had to flag someone down every time we wanted something, was never checked on for more drinks etc. but could see all the servers hiding out the back having a chat. Table wasn’t set before we sat down and nobody cleared our table before we asked for our birthday cake to be given back to us so we could leave.

Food was good, would have been nicer if the portions were bigger for the prices. Service was awful, our first server was incredible, seated us and took care of our needs. But downhill from there. We waited over an hour for food, the restaurant was maybe a quarter full. Then the servers were incredibly lazy and ignorant. Once the food was down we were ignored from there onwards. We had to flag down people 3-4 times for things that we needed, by the end we had two plates cleared from a 6 person table and then waited another 15 minutes before the rest of our plates were taken, we also had to ask them to be taken. We originally wanted desert but just left in the end. It took us nearly 2 hours in all just for main meals. We left feeling miserable after what was meant to be a celebratory occasion.

Dreadful experience from point of entry. We were seated in good time, menus handed out then a fifteen minute wait to order ( waitress had minimal knowledge of menu) One of our party has a fish allergy and we were told a manager would have to personally take that order, a young man came and took our friend's order ( he was only having a starter) So, four customers four meals ( one a starter only) A second manager comes over and checks our friends allergy & within minutes his starter is brought to the table, nearly half an hour later we are still waiting for the other three meals, I asked a waitress why the wait was so long and was told a manager would come and talk to us. After explaining the situation we were asked what could be done to put things right, I suggested some form of compensation and was offered 25% off of the total bill to which I agreed, then he said it might be 15% & would have to go and ask another manager. He returned offering 10 %.....to which I pointed out the original offer was 25% ( still no sign of food & nearly an hour from ordering) At this point we decided to leave and try out KFC ! The restaurant was far from busy, generally looked drab and in need of a refurb, seats dirty and tables scratched.

Gave 1 star because I couldn’t give 0. Terrible experience. Food took 1 hour to come out. When asked for water again 10 minutes after she didn’t bring it the first time I asked the waiter was ridiculously rude complaining that there’s only 2 workers. Awful manners it made me lose my appetite because she was so mean. Workers should not take their anger and frustration out on customers especially who are spending £100+ on a service. Be kind!

Went for a team meal and the food was treating and Nicole was an amazing host.

This place has gone down hill, came for my daughters 16th birthday , as been before and normally great atmosphere ect, on arrival the car park was quiet so we thought being a Thursday early evening is was quiet, went in took a while for a member of staff to greet us , we soon relised 2 ladies working one, taking orders and one cleaning and bring out food, well it took atleast 20 mins before we ordered a drink , food was longer people was leaving the good 5 familys left whilst we was there, no banter from staff, felt more more of a inconvenience, went to the ladies toilets absolutely shocking disgusting, floor was sticky as shoes was sticking to it , no toilet roll , as you walk in I could see the toilet rim with all splatters of poo, this was before I had eaten so put me off , the sinks wasn't clean and the hand dryer mark all underneath , this needs a deep clean , we waited as waited long enough food was average but not worth £80.00 and that was with 20 % blue light , this was suppose to be a special meal for my daughters 16th , I think and her words we would of had better service and meal if we just went to KFC. We didn't complain as it wasn't fare on the poor girl working, but she was under pressure

Today I came in with my family and the experience was world class. Food was amazing and Nicole was brilliant. My kids loved her and they can’t wait to come back.

Visited on a Friday night, it wasn’t busy at all. Food didn’t take too long to arrive but when it did - the loaded fries looked so depressing - they really sell it with the pictures. The ‘salad’ was a sad attempt, looked slightly gone off. And the ‘messy cheeseburger’ was so dry and had no flavour at all. The food was absolutely terrible especially for the price. On average £20 for one main meal, it is definitely not worth the visit.

I really am not one to write reviews but seriously- we came here on the bank holiday weekend just for a last minute decision. We arrived and we where seated by the kitchen which wasn’t really pleasant in itself we then continued to wait would 30 minutes for someone to come and take our order which did not happen and I had to get the manager’s attention- I then asked for him to move us which was led with a huff and a puff and then moved into a different space, I then asked if someone could take our order which there where then 2 waitresses stood behind us chatting and laughing for another 20 minutes to then we decided to just walk out- if this isn’t bad customer service I don’t know what is. I also saw lots of People sending their food back where it was not cooked properly- avoid at all costs absolutely rank🤮

Came in for a meal today, happened to walk past the restaurant and didn’t even think to come in but we ended up chatting with the little bubbly manager who was cleaning the restaurant outside, she was incredibly nice and quite funny. She didn’t have to but she stopped what she was doing and took us inside and gave us a seat. The server who I think was named Nicole, was very nice and went above and beyond for our table. She was attentive and very helpful! Would definitely recommend this restaurant just based on the service and these lovely girls!
