Teynham Chinese Take Away in Swale

Called for takeaway, messed about having to do bank transfer because my meal wasn’t over £25.00 wouldn’t expect card under that amount… food very disappointing. Terrible prawns in batter and unacceptable Singapore Noodles. Overall shocking experience…won’t ever be going back.

Disgusting is the word! I didn't eat it. This may sound harsh but I have eaten plenty of average and good Chineses in my time and this was terrible! The rice was dark brown (never seen that before and it wasn't wholegrain rice!)... obviously refried dozens of times.The food was flavourless with thick gloopy glutinous sauces and the chicken satay was simply a huge lump of flavourless chicken on a stick with no satay sauce. Yuk! The best thing was the seaweed. Don't waste your money and your tastebuds would be my advice and to the restaurant ..get a new cook urgently!

We have lived in the village for nearly 6 years. We have used the Teynham Chinese on dozens of occasions, . always friendly, never had an issue with delivery & and the food is ALWAY excellent.

I ordered our family meal and was not impressed when the food FINALLY arrived over an hour late. The communication and customer service from the lady was very poor. I Will NOT use again.

Quite possibly the worst Chinese take out we have had. Zero flavour, gelletinous (so?), all dishes the same flavour; dry duck, cold pancakes; prawns odd tasting, sweet and sour soup not sweet and not sour, just like gravy; garlic cloves just chopped in half and strips of ginger about 1 inch wide x 3 inches long. Chicken slimy. Never again

This is the second time I have been to this Chinese. Wasn't happy with first one but as it had been a couple of years I thought I'd try again. Still just as bad. Food is horrible. Won't be visiting again.

I have used this place a couple of times and the takeaway is really good, plenty in the ontainers and very very tasty.

Visited my local Chinese today and was very pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome received. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food well recommended always hot and tasty

Went to Teynham Chinese with me dad, and we drove for a while to see if we could find a decent place for a takeaway. We got the food home and it was absolute GANTIN BRER, the food wasn't nice at all. Lacked flavour. Avoid if possible folks.

We used to get the odd meal fro our local takeaway but recently they have not been unto scratch so we decided to look around o the various websites and saw some positive reviews for this place so we decided to give it a try and must say it was quite nice. The positions were generous and had good taste.

We live in Faversham and were travelling back from Sittingbourne when we decided to stop here for a change. The Chinese places in Fav leave a lot to be desired. We ordered and waited in the shop, and the food only took around 10 mins to arrive even through they were taking quite a few orders over the phone. The food was all obviously freshly prepared, had plenty of fresh veg in the sauce and tasted really good. The menu didn't have exactly what my husband wanted but they made it for him anyway. The prices are reasonable too. I think this was one of the best Chinese meals I've ever had and would definitely go out of my way to eat from here again.

I order from here most Thursday or Friday's, always lovely food, And they deliver to me in faversham for a small charge of £2, reasonable prices too, always fresh and hot, Friendly service, The salt chilli chips are amazing, And the delivery time is within 45 mins, and the delivery guy is always very happy and chatty, defiantly the best Chinese around, highly recommend

Tasty dishes, fresh crispy vegetables, huge king prawns, yummy chilli chips, and all steaming hot, much improved on previous handful of visits in the past 8 years. Only slight negative is that everything was quite salty.. Otherwise a good tasty takeaway
