Tetto's Hampstead in Camden

We absolutely loved our evening at Tetto’s, Hampstead. We were staying locally as had a very early start the following day. We ordered the Seabass and the vegetable skewer. Large portions of beautifully cooked food! Also treated myself to a mock tail strawberry daiquiri Absolutely gorgeous! Will be back!

On recent family visit to London we found Tetto's on Haverstock Hill although it was a quiet Monday evening, we were welcomed by OJ and his team, there were six of us four adults and two children. We were accomodted on a nice large table and the service was exceptional, great choices on the menu for everyone, very good wine selection. Attentive but not intrusive service. We all agreed that we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We asked about Cocktails and Mocktails and were given a large selection to choose from, we were then invited to go up to the covered rooftop terrace which had been preheated and our drinks were brought up to us and we enjoyed our after dinner drinks in a wonderful enviroment. The whole Restaurant is beautifully decorated and presented on all three floors and OJ and his team certainly made our evening very special and enjoyable. I would 100% Recomend this Restaurant

Following our booking on Friday 15th December at 7pm, at your establishment in Belsize Park, I feel compelled to write to you. We made our booking very early, in September and were very excited as this was our first “Christmas Do” since before Covid. I arrived a little later than some of my colleagues and they told me our group had been split into two groups which we did not expect. As we had made our booking so early, September, I do not understand why this would happen and it meant we were not together. I saw that other parties there had less people than our group so it would not have been difficult to put us all on one table. We had also been told there would be a complimentary drink upon arrival, this was not the case. We were surprised that there was no Christmas music, decorations or crackers. There was nothing really to show this was a Christmas celebration. One of us asked for Christmas music and was told “no this is what we do”. I also felt that the food was not of a good standard at all. With the steak there was just fries no veggies or nothing to make it look appealing. No choice for dessert and it wasn’t chocolate cheesecake and strawberry cheesecake it was plain cheesecake with a flavoured sauce. The starter looked and tasted like party food from a supermarket. It was very disappointing especially as the week before I had a do with my girlfriends at The Ivy with a wide selection of food for a similar price. Finally, I had phoned previously to enquire about an NHS discount as your board outside stated that there was a discount ANYTIME of 25% but we were told it did not apply?! We would not come there again, I am sorry to say, and I would not recommend it to anyone. It is a shame as it is near to the hospital where we work and would be a good “go to”. Maybe the staff could not cope with a large party?

Starters were fairly reasonably priced and fairly tasty. Unfortunately the steaks were bland with very little flavour and outrageously expensive for what you get. If you are going to spend this kind of money on a steak go to a proper steak restaurant or order the hamburger.

Lovely Bar, great service and great cocktails. The restaurant is very glamorous and the food looks delicious. Will try next time. Lovely atmosphere. Very pleased this has opened in Belsize Park
