Cabana Covent Garden in Camden

Went on a Saturday, booked via Fork. I was looking for a Brazilian cuisine restaurant and I don't think I found a typical cuisine. I would say it was more of a mix. Ambience was nice, fully decorated with plants hanging from the ceiling, and I kept hoping that those were regularly cleaned to avoid dust falling on the tables. We had burger with fries, chicken and a flat iron steak with prawns and additional churrasco fries. As a desert the cheesecake and doughnut balls. Food was good. To drink, a bottle of wine. Average price £40-£50 per person.

Atypical atmosphere, decent service and food. Too bad we were cold.

Being Portuguese the Brazilian grill house vibe is one that I am familiar with and I’m happy to say that Cabana hits the nail on the head both with the vibe and also with the food! Food is lovely and tasty and the service is fantastic! Thank you to Dewan! He was brilliant and made sure we were all well looked after! Definitely would recommend.

We had a great time and experience really tast food . CFC tacos and chicken skewers was really nice and also cocktails was so tangy and nice . And our waitress jeslin she was really amazing she recommended everything cocktail and food also so attentive over all 10/10 really enjoyed.

I had amazing experience at Cabana, and a huge part of that was thanks to Jesline! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel so welcome. She was super friendly, attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed without even having to ask. Jesline gave us great menu recommendations, checked in on us just the right amount, and made sure we were having a great time. Her positive energy and genuine care for customers made our meal even more enjoyable. Thank you for making our evening special!

Cabana’s vibrant atmosphere definitely adds up to the whole experience. The food is really good, healthy and just the right amount of servings. Our favourite is the cassava and happy hour of course! 😉 I would highly recommend to book in advance via The Fork.

This was a big disappointment. We visited on a fairly slow night, but the food still took so long to arrive. We waited for about 45 minutes, ran out of drinks and no one asked if we would like to order more. The food was super dry - the salmon was as served without a sauce, the chicken tacos were barely edible due to being completely dried out (both the chicken and the taco itself - and there was hardly any sauce) and the crispy rice bites were unevenly cooked. The avocado on top had black spots. Worst was the sirloin, which we had high hopes for due to the high price but no - it was a small, thin piece of chewy and overcooked meat, with burnt char on the outside. I hate leaving negative reviews - this is my first - but this truly was a big disappointment and a pricey one as well at over £30 per person. (Not including alcoholic drinks) Oh, and the loos were completely disgusting - not clean whatsoever.

This was my first visit to Cabana, and I had a great overall experience! Our server, Reem was incredibly accommodating, providing warm and hospitable service that made our visit even more enjoyable. The staff was efficient, ensuring everything ran smoothly, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and well-presented. We ordered the flame-grilled guava wings, which were super tasty, along with the churrasco fries—both were excellent! Unfortunately, the buttermilk tacos and three-corn salad weren’t to my liking and felt like a slight letdown. The ambiance was a highlight—it truly felt like stepping into a Brazilian rainforest bar by the sea. The lush greenery, warm lighting, and relaxed yet vibrant energy created an immersive dining experience. I’d highly recommend trying the Island Life mocktail—it was refreshing, well-balanced, and a perfect complement to the meal. Another bonus: their chicken and beef are halal! Overall, a top-notch dining experience that I’d definitely return for!

It’s a fun restaurant with aDJ for music.. food is good. Very interesting drinks lists. Music was a bit too loud for lunch. We can’t chat at all without shouting at each other. Service was good.

Food is delicious and a lot of brasil inspired food that you can choose from, and thanks to Drei who is very knowledgeable and was able to help me pick food because a lot of choices makes me unable to decide. The good thing that Drei was there gave me an execptional service.

Absolutely horrible experience. Not only did I have to wait almost 40 minutes to be served, the staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Service is so horrible i bad time to write this review from inside the restaurant. The food served is mediocre at best. You’d have a better meal at a local McDonald’s over the food served here and for half the price too. Hardly worth the price, Youre just paying the table and atmosphere. I watched another family be sat, taken care of, and served with more respect faster than I was. Will not be eating here again, and will openly recommend not taking anyone here for anything they have to serve.

Visited here for dinner and they greeted us with a smile. The ambience, music overall was soothing and relaxing. Good selection on menus, Reem who served us gave us good recommendations and the service was good and polite. We also had amazingg cocktails during happy hour as well. I highly recommend this place.

My partner and I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and were intrigued by the decor. The place is beautiful, full of plants, mood lighting and the music creates a great atmosphere. We only tried a few things. The chicken tacos were so yummy and the garlic greens and the fries with feta on top were superb. The staff was quite laid back yet attentive at the same time. Only downside was the toilets in the basement and many stairs. They also have happy hour on some cocktails so that was a good deal as well

Food was good, we had eaten here previously had found the food to better the previous time, 5 doughballs in a starter costing £6.75 is a bit ridiculous. Our server Jeslin, was great, very polite and helpful. I would come again.

My partner and I came to Cabana for some pre theatre dinner. We had some of the two for one cocktails which was a great deal. I had some Halloumi to start,the Butterfly Chicken Tacas for the main and the Churros for desert. Everything was absolutely delicious. Lovely atmosphere. Really enjoyed our time here and the steak was perfect. Loved the chimichuri sauce would have liked some butter though for the steak. Joanna was a perfect host along with the other staff made us feel very Welcome. Will definitely come again.

We stayed at the Cabana on Valentine's Day and had a great time! The place is very characteristic, with a South American atmosphere and pleasant music, the service is very kind and friendly and the food was excellent. I highly recommend it!

They have an ecclectic menu, so you can also enjoy unexpected appetizers such as halloumi cheese, duck tacos and sweet potato fries. Service from Christina was amazing, she read our table well: she knew when we were ready to order, when to bring the main meals and when the right time to bring the dessert menu. Never intrusive, but always there exactly when we needed her, topping off our water glasses. Friendly staff like her and Drey, plus the creative ferns and decor hanging on the ceiling made it a relaxing, memorable experience in this tropical oasis-like atmosphere.

The place had a beautiful ambiance, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was great, especially the chicken skewers, which were delicious. However, the steak, while tasty, was not large enough for the price. The service started off well but deteriorated as the meal went on. The staff became inattentive, taking too long to clear plates and bring the dessert menu. I had to raise my hand multiple times without getting their attention and eventually had to go to the counter several times just to ask for the bill. Since the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time, there was no valid excuse for the lack of attentiveness.

Amazing churrasco fries and churrasco chicken! My daughter loves the malagueta sauce. The duck tacos are also so tasty! The atmosphere and decor is so beautiful and tastefully styled. We have been here many times and will be here back many more times! Joanna was also very helpful and warm - she remembered us from ages ago! I 100% recommend ❤️

Tropieza con este increíble restaurante. En el interior estaba bellamente decorado en estilo habanero. Nos sentamos de inmediato por el personal amable. Había una increíble oferta de 50% de descuento en comida y cóctel gratis si te registraste en la aplicación. Mi amigo y yo tuvimos una deliciosa comida. Salman para mí y pincho de pollo para mi amigo. Los sabores de las salsas y la comida era fabuloso. Drei y Radka eran servidores encantadores y sin duda volveremos.

Las comidas eran pequeñas. El servicio se apresuró. Uno de los platos llegó frío y tuvo que ser devuelto. Cuando volvió todavía no se calentaba, pero era una ocasión especial y mi amigo no quería hacer un escándalo. Tenía pollo con suero en un bollo. Sabía a hamburguesa de pollo McDonald’s. El vino, que no nos habíamos dado cuenta era de £ 39 cuando lo pedimos, y era una botella de plonk con una tapa de rosca. Elegí tarta de queso de postre. Bastante insípido y empujado en un plato. Harías mucho mejor si tuvieras una rebanada de tarta de queso de Sainsbury’s - muy superior. La música se desvaneció, tanto que no pudimos escucharnos hablar. Pedí cortésmente que lo rechazaran y lo hicieron durante 2 minutos. En general, este restaurante tiene un precio excesivo, mala calidad y servicio y un pad turístico de precio superior. Erróneamente pensé que la factura era de £ 39 y genuinamente pensé que se había reducido debido a un mal servicio y comida. Por supuesto, la factura estaba en dos partes y esto era por £ 39 que era solo para el vino. Toda la factura llegó a 92 libras. 81 .
