An excellent experience! Abundant food, at a very affordable price, high quality and very short waiting times. In addition to a very convenient location if you are sightseeing in the cathedral area. Now I know you have to read reviews. Had a Groupon on it and it was cheap but that was the last time I went to a cheap restaurant. The worst food ever. Three of us felt sick went for a 2 ltr bottle of coke to try and flush it down somehow. I am not commenting on food as there's been enough said here already by others. It's very bad. The guy (waiter/owner??) was kind of nice but seemed like he didn't want to be there and ready for his retirement any minute. I just don't know how could you con people like that and even for free it would be like a malicious intent. No more suspicious wee restaurants for me hoping for the best - only big, clean, bright with no cheap decor. 😭😭😭

Five stars well deserved for Tesoro Mio. Popped in today for lunch with my wife - had a brilliant time. The food is fantastic - I had the lasagne for my main, and struggled to finish it - the portions are huge. Nice relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant, great value for money too. We’ll definitely be back!

A combination of Lasagne and Carbonara followed with 2x Tiramisu, service, food, atmosphere were excellent, certainly be returning.

A small quaint restaurant which could easily be missed but really shouldn't. Looking in it doesn't look anything overly impressive but that is made up by the hospitality and incredible food. Mozzarella sticks were amazing and the pizza was cooked to perfection. We got this deal through group-on BUT would definately go back again.

I dare you to find a visible piece of salmon in there. I think I found salmon in about 3 bites in the entire pasta. They're using micrograms of Salmon in there. Seemed cheap and decent but I know why now. Not that it tasted bad but I don't know how they pass this off as salmon pasta. I didn't even complain because the staff seemed like she's annoyed that anyone even comes into her store, or talks to her. Please avoid and go to the Chinese next door. I wish I did.

I have eaten in quite a few Italian restaurants in Glasgow and this is without a doubt the best and cheapest. Highly recommended and next to the cathedral.

I can only agree with the other reviews It must be a small family shop. The owner is very nice. The location is small but good. The most important thing is of course the food. The mushrooms on the pizza were fresh. The pizza was very tasty. Very well priced, in contrast to other shops here. The other prices also looked good.

Esta fue mi segunda visita usando un trato Groupon, visitada un domingo por la noche, la visita anterior fue un almuerzo del viernes. Pequeño restaurante, no hay espacio para sillas de ruedas o buggies. La decoración es anticuada, pero el lugar se mantuvo bastante ocupado con los comensales y comida para llevar Positivos -muy barato para un restaurante del centro de la ciudad incluso sin el descuento de la oferta groupon , la comida sabía bien y las patatas fritas estaban deliciosas- como patatas fritas a la antigua, porciones grandes y no tuvo que esperar mucho tiempo para que se tomara el pedido. Comida servida caliente. Negativos - no esperes ninguna amabilidad del personal - ambas visitas que hicimos proporcionaron ningún saludo, no gracias, y no despedidas... simplemente preguntamos "¿plato principal? ' ¿Y "de inicio"? Y no solo fuimos nosotros, vi la falta de interacción del personal con otros comensales. ¡Incluso una sonrisa apreciativa habría sido encantadora! Las comidas no se sirvieron juntas - 2 sacadas 5 - 10 minutos después de los otros platos, así que o comienza a cenar por separado o esperar y alguien come tibio! We popped into this unassuming little restaurant not having seen any reviews. What a super find! It was a little dated but that just added to the character. The food was delicious and plentiful, all home cooked, traditional and so reasonably priced. I highly recommend the calzone but the pizzas were just as good and with loads of cheese and toppings. Really good value.

I’ve now ate here a few times and the quality of food is very good 👌 I’ve ate pasta , pizza and fish and chips and I can honestly say I’ve not tasted any better in the city .

Muy contento con nuestra experiencia en nuestra reciente visita. Nos dieron un vale en groupon que resultó ser excelente valor y añadimos en una comida y bebidas para niños. Toda la comida era agradable y recién preparado para pedir. La selección de bebidas alcohólicas era limitada, pero a un precio brillante por estar justo en el borde de la ciudad mercantil. El restaurante era tranquilo, solo estábamos nosotros y otra mesa en un viernes temprano por la noche, espero que hagan un buen giro en la comida para llevar / entrega para mantenerse ocupado!

Este es un pequeño gran lugar dirigido por la familia. Leer los comentarios negativos es como si estuvieran revisando un restaurante diferente. No es un chippy es comida italiana casera. Teníamos los mejillones y penne que venía con muchos mejillones y mucho ajo en una salsa de tomate y me encantó. Enormes porciones. Más de lo que comería en casa, pero eran como 8 libras. 50 . He pagado fácilmente 18 libras en casi todas partes. Puedes conseguir su boloñesa casera y espaguetis por £ 6. 50 . ¡Qué locura! Lo intentaré la próxima vez que estemos en la ciudad. También tuvimos una pizza, todo bien allí también. Con una copa de vino y una gran coca nuestra comida, para 2 era de £ 25. ¡Vamos! Esperábamos eso para una persona. Vamos a poner la escena aquí. El restaurante es familiar y está dirigido por un dúo de marido y mujer. Es un pequeño lugar acogedor con unas cuantas mesas que se basa en el extremo superior de la calle principal fuera de los caminos trillados. Los precios son extremadamente razonables con una buena selección de opciones en el menú. Ahora la parte importante, la comida es fabulosa! Odio la sopa Minestrone, pero la de aquí es increíble. Odio la pizza aparte de las de Italia, la pizza aquí sabe igual que las que se consiguen en Roma / Milán. Lasaña para morir y los platos de marisco son fabulosos. Todo está hecho en el lugar, incluidas las láminas de penne y lasaña. Estaban muy felices de compartir conmigo cómo hacen todo desde fresco y me mostraron ingredientes. Ontzettend gastvrij. Daarbij is het eten heel goed.😉 Voor de oudere man heb wij ontzettend veel respect. Hij slooft letterlijk van tafel naar tafel en blijft lachen. We hopen echt dat hun het bedrijf behouden de aankomende jaren en wij komen zeker weer langs.

An incredible little diamond of a place, and something unique to my experience - cheap Italian food, really good, homemade feeling, with big generous portions. Reasonable almost beyond belief, ~£7 for a main course. Genuine mom-and-pop operation. Drop in, they deserve the business. However they tend to shut up shop early if it’s quiet, don’t take the listed hours as accurate.

I'm Italian and I can say that I really appreciated the quality of the food. The prices are really fair, pizzas under £10, and a lot of first courses like risotto, pasta and lasagna around £7-10. Cozy atmosphere, the owner is very friendly. Extremely satisfied.

Used a Groupon for 2 fish teas. The fish and chips were both freshly made and no complaints on that front. My husband ordered tea and got a latte. Trouble was the lattes were tepid, a wee bit more heat in them would be great. One more wee moan. There was no bread and butter, I was with my hubby and that was another annoyance for him. He missed out in making a chip butty :( The service was ok, but the family who run it could do worse than go and sit in another, established restaurant, and see how they operate. Small niggles and I would happily go back again as the food, the main reason for going, was delicious.

By chance we had pizza and pasta for lunch. Everything was good and plentiful. Fast service. 4 dishes and 3 drinks for €46, tip included. It's very good value for money.

We loved the food, the lasagna was super delicious and the children's menus were abundant and very tasty, run by authentic Italians, we had 8 people eat for less than 10 pounds per head and drinking beer and soft drinks. We will surely repeat! Grazie mille!

Really friendly service, is probably family owned. The place itself is really compact. They have quite a wide variety of food options on their menu and their chicken is halal. The pepperoni pizza was 5/5, loaded with cheese, make sure to ask to extra pepperoni if you like a meaty pizza. The chicken arrabbiata was 4/5, really nice tomato sauce and the chicken was cooked well, super juicy and delicious. The aglio e olio sadly missed the mark.

I do few revisions for restaurants. This place called our attention because of the decorations. Zuppa del Giorno is so delicious. Risotto di mare is the best and my wife loved the Lasagna.

My 2nd visit to this wee gem of a restaurant, a mid-week late lunch. On a previous visit I had enjoyed a massive portion of fish and chips, buttered bread and a pot of tea. On this visit my friend had the fish and chips. She was impressed, to say the least, she didn't quite manage to finish it. I had the macaroni cheese with garlic bread and I was not disappointed. The food is fresh, homemade and absolutely delicious! It was that good I'm going back, with my partner this time :) This lovely wee Italian restaurant is an absolute must for lovers of good, decent food at very affordable prices. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Discovered this little family run eatery while having a break from a hospital visit...Just 5/10 min stroll down from hospital...Chose the Pollo picante pizza, which was prepared fresh and was really delicious, Will definitely pop in again for some reasonably priced tasty food.

First up were the starters warm bruschetta at best. The arancini was frozen in the middle sent back. The main courses 3 lasagne 2 were ok the other was very dry and rubbery we got these served with chips from the chippy within the restaurant . Pollo picante pizza was missing the peppers and the onion rings to go with it never arrived 🤷‍♂️. Now onto the desserts 2 ‘HOT’ sticky toffee puddings with ICE cream they were frozen and the ice cream had obviously been in the freezer forever as was budget ice cream. The owner and waiter dressed in a jogging suit brought our cutlery which was dirty and sauces after we had finished our main meal 🤦🏻‍♂️. The company was great we had the pleasure of meeting a few blue bottles 🪰 in the restaurant.

Went in with my fiancee.and staff greeted us very warmly.ide been In before but the place has had a full revamp.and the decor is typical old Italy.with warm lighting red roses.flying cherubim pictures of the old country.we ordered salmon with vodka sauceesparagus and salad.and a chicken milanese.but starters were absolutely fantastic.a minestrone soup that I just had to take home.the food was warm on arrival.and was brilliant.portions are fantastic.this guy makes his own lasagna.own bread loafs.everything is locally produced and sourced .I've read 2 or 3 poor write ups because of there being a takeaway part of the restaurant.but this place is like being back in the cola Di rienzo rome.for a fraction of the budget.ive thoroughly enjoyed it.and now we go on a regular basis the owner is a lovely man who's family all assist.a true run family business.i the heart of the high street and a hidden gem...do not read the bad grumpier bits about no music.as I was happily listening g to andre riue.lovely evening.stunning shop

It's relatively cheap, but the margarita pizza we ate was not good. It's small, hidden, no one was there. It was the closest place to the Necropolis that had a toilet. I guess that is a plus.

Really lovely restaurant, the owner/front doorperson was so accommodating to us. The food was very tasty and each dish was different yet always flavourful. It also came really fast. The interior decor is BEAUTIFUL.

I specifically asked for the pizza with no cheese (yeah I know its weird but my husband doesn't eat cheese) came smothered in the stuff, as did the meatballs which weren't very flavoursome, lasagne was stone cold, soggy garlic bread and chips that were solid and pretty inedible. Wouldn't order again.

Purchased Groupon Voucher. Advised on booking Voucher would be used. On arriving scanned Voucher said it wasn't valid. Provided copy of Voucher, which has security code, proof of purchase. Still wouldn't accept.

The delivery driver was as torn faced as I've ever seen. I ordered two things, one of the items delivered was a completely different dish from what was ordered and the portion for the correct item was very small. When i tried to call the restaurant, no one picked up the phone (i tried a few times and the restaurant should still have been open). I have ordered from here before and it was okay but this was a very bad experience. Really abysmal.

Had the pollo picante pizza which was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced (around £8 for 12”). Food was served pretty quickly given there was quite a few of us. I was overcharged in error (very easily done) but the owner got it resolved straight away with no hassle which was massively appreciated. Definitely worth a visit.

Great little place, it's nothing fancy to look at from outside but the food is absolutely beautiful and fresh. Myself and my sister enjoyed our meals and chatted with a few regulars too. Mushroom brushetta was delicious as was the carbonara and spicy chicken pizza. Healthy portions too. Very quaint and suited for our requirements. Will be back soon.

Had fish n chips first night which were good so we decided to have pizza the next night.. One of the group had a 16" pizza and we agreed its on to share + tea The pizzas were excellant. 3rd night after a day of hiking we all agreed we were going back. Pizza again then we finished off with a cheesecake and ice cream sweet. Excellant . local students came in and was obviously regulars and had the salmon penne which we heard one say was excellant On our next trip its on our map. It's not flash but nice Enjoyed the crack.

Mi hija vio italiano en la puerta y allí fue a entrar, no tuvimos más opción que entrar… me encontré migas de pan en mi mantel, la comida estaba bien pero era básica, macarrones con tomate y carne y nata, mi rissoto fatal con champiñones de bote y guisantes congelados, el olor era terrible, no había nadie en el bar, el señor que nos atendía estaba solo y sin ánimos, la cocina se veía desde afuera con la Corina negra y la campana súper sucia…. No volvería a ir…. Gracias
