Good variety of food & non food items.

I ordered avocado on toast with two poached eggs, I’ve ordered the same food from other tescos cafes. This one however put the thinnest layer of avocado on the bread, it was like they just rubbed it on. A handful of tomatoes and two very watery eggs from a poacher ! Other tescos ( Eastbourne ) are so much better, why is this one different ??? I can only think the manager is tight and won’t allow the staff to put enough on ! The staff in fact were very friendly, which is why I provided some stars 🌟 other wise it was a zero for the food.

Never got what you need in store and you can never call Tesco’s to speak to someone. What is the point of the phone number to not be able to talk to? Someone is a joke. Stop having phone numbers if you can’t talk to anyone start sorting your supplies out, making sure stop is in.

After clocking £200+ on a ‘small’ trolley today on scan as you shop, attendant emptied most of our packed bags to scan 40x random items, said sry, then walked off! I remember staff packing your bags, not unpacking and walking off. Livid, service is toot. You’re not a customer, just part of their self serving process. IMO, experience is SO much better at Waitrose & M&S.

The secureity guard broke my mate rampz finger and almost smashed his phone then a guy who looks like my big toe came out and said “your bellitering my staff” and police was involved all we did was buying some meat my mate rampz got put in HOSPITAL because of this

Cafe os brilliant. Barbers is helpful to have on site. Staff hard working and friendly. Much better than the Asda in the town centre by a country mile!

Disgusted by the amount of food this store throws away regularly

This store has no consideration for the local community. We have reached out multiple times for them to implement a procedure to ensure the trollies aren't taken from the premises and as a result lined along the streets. We have had trollies smashed into our cars and tescos take no responsibility. You can't contact tescos and we will not do your job for you by reporting trollies on an app. You must put something in place to stop the trollies leaving your premises. It's an absolute joke and we will be putting something in place to boycott this store.

Clubcard prices are excellent, lovely staff and clean store. Loved it.

Sadly, letting people sit next to a cash machine, begging, intimidates people into not using the machine. Reflects badly on your shop. Move the machine inside.

Shelf always full I get anything I want

They removed the meat and fish counters meaning I bought the steak from the meat shelves. When I exited the store the barriers kept beeping even though I paid for it. Staff were extremely unfriendly and treated me like a burglar.

Takes some getting used to this vast tescos handy scan and pay available friendly knowledgeable staff with nothing too much trouble

Good place for a shopping visit. The extra stores always have a large selection of food items , cleaning and electrical products. The cafe has recently been refitted and looks clean and tidy. All food and coffee ordered on touch screens when you come in.

Great size Extra store, seams like its got a bigger range of goods than other stores, Huge carpark with electric cars charging points plus a petrol station, Its on a retail park so you also have a massive b&m store and prob the biggest Pets ahome store ive seen!

Huge store with massive range, always incredibly busy at any time of the day when it's open. If you can stand the carpark chaos, it's a great place to do your grocery shopping.

Decent, big Tesco which has pretty much everything. Prices have gone up a fair bit of late.

As usual this lunch time only 3 Staffed tills open, new cafe still not disabled friendly. Disabled toilet was filthy. Toilet pan had obviously not been cleaned properly for days, mess on floor and STILL nowhere to hang a coat in the disabled toilet dispute numerous complaints management not interested, and ver seen on shop floor, seldom see a supervisor even expect at self checkout of course!! Wake up and listen to customers Tesco!!

Gran supermarket barato y con excelente atencion al cliente

Have been here a few times. Decided to cycle there today. Unfortunately the bike racks are small, too close together and an unfortunate triangle shape making it difficult to lock the bike securely and not be tangled up with another bike. Considering the size of the enormous car park this is the usual cyclists being treated as second class. Having secured my bike there was a queue to get in more than an hour after the store opened so went to Asda instead, hole of the best bike racks in the area.

Wide range available from grocery to produce to ready meals, clothing, decor. Store is nicely laid out. It also petrol station.

The Tesco Cafe offers a decent dining experience with a 3-star food rating. While there's room for improvement in the menu, the excellent customer service adds a positive touch. Staff are attentive and friendly, making the overall visit enjoyable. Coffee was outstanding.

It's a reasonable store but the pricing is a bit of a guessing game! Till had one total, the cashier told me a different total only to find the final price to be different again. That's 3 different totals for the same stuff!! And as I was queueing up the lady going through the adjacent checkout had the same problem and was putting things back on the shelf. Not good enough!

A big thank you to the lovely Andrew who was so patient and extra helpful when we were struggling to use our Tesco vouchers at the self service checkout - it's quite rare to experience this quality of service and when we thanked him he smiled and said "it's what we're here for!" Brilliant!!!

I wanted to thank the pharmacy team for their help today. I ran out of a prescribed medicine and they sorted it for me. They were thoughtful and worked hard to solve my problem. Great service and a huge thank you to them for their help.

Such a big tesco, they should keep some space for pick up abd drop off space, I always go this tesco for my regular shopping, price is OK if you use clabcard, other wise it very expensive. Lots of choice for food and cloths,

Security guard wouldn’t let me charge my phone after breaking down at the car park. Had a 7 month old in the car. Had to ask a stranger to use their phone to call a recovery vehicle. Hope the individual finds himself in the same situation with his family. Dark haired Asian man 30s with a big beard

DISGUSTING MEAT!!!!!! I bout a stake Cote’ the boeuf £16 and when I open it was stinking rotten straight on the bin! Be careful do not buy this stake , it looks ok but when open you run away.

Wheelchair accessible, plenty of parking and good disabled parking. Store is always clean and has a good range of products, self service and scan as you shop

Very big supermarket and friendly staff

I bought a too and trousers at Next, near Tesco on Friday 8 July 2023. I then went to Tesco for some shopping and forgot my bag with my Next store shopping there at Tesco. I only realised on Saturday and had no idea where I had left my bag. On Monday 11 July went to Next Store first only to discover that someone from Tesco had brought back my shopping at Next. As a result I would like to thank who ever sent my shopping bag back to Next. It’s very rare that there are still people out there who will not take what does not belong to them. ThNks you so much. stay blessed

Never been a threat in any store like in this. Stuff below any standards, of course, not all, but some of them are rude. Self-service stuff at 14/07/23 piont fingers on to customers like for thief's. Definitely not recommended this store !!!

Very poor quality and possibly expired bread. Also the salmon was not very fresh.

Left the store this afternoon, had a security guard stand in front of me & said quite aggressively " show me your receipt woman " How dare he speak to me like that ? Very degrading!!! Showed him my receipt & he just walked off Don't feel comfortable coming back to your store

Large car park which is shared with other businesses. Excellent selection of everything you might need from a supermarket. Nicely laid out and the store is always well stocked. I find its a good place to shop, especially late at night. Petrol station on site too...nice

Not one single Easter Egg on Saturday before East Sunday at Tesco Hatfield. Not even a small one and hardly any signs at entrance pointing what shelves they were on as all shelves seemed full so they took the signs down as well? Sainsbury’s in London Colney were FULL OF SHELVES OF EASTER EGGS.

Despite scanning half of my weekly shop and the till suddenly not working, Sally who worked at the trolly self service was on hand to help as much as she could and kept my toddler busy whilst I was rescanning, thank you Sally!

Huge store. Plenty of disabled and children parking. Has a petrol garage. Cash points, Has kiosk for customers service and sells tobacco. Click and collect service. Self scanning, self check outs, and self service tills. I think when store is more busy they should have more people on tills as queues build up quickly. Instore have a pharmacy, very helpful. Also gave barbers and cafe. Large range of clothing, home wear. Great range of products.

Huge store, every conceivable product. The parking, access and everything about this site is a nightmare. I have never experienced such a badly laid out and dangerous shopping precinct. Drivers and pedestrians in constant conflict.

Bought a Xmas jumper for the kid, Xmas day security tag still on the thing, took is back 30th Dec, after Xmas. Told to que up at the cigarette and customer care desk, 10 long queue...... did some shopping, asked the cashier to remove the tag... go to security desk, security desk go to the customer cigarette counter, 8 people queue. Gave the jumper to the security man. The end. TESCO set the standard to keep queues short, if you need help for a purchase making customers que for 30mins isn't in the TESCO ethos. This isn't the 1st time customer care has been a let down at this store. The approach is akin to IKEA, make it difficult and people won't bother, guess it works but leaves a stink

Extremely poor customer service.

Busy, don't like it so I shop at 6am

Security guard is rude arrogant and unhelpful. Had 2 bikes stolen in the last week from outside the shop. First time he seemed he didn’t care and said he can’t access the cctv. Second time ( today ) told me that it’s not his problem. Then called a Uber and was waiting outside. Uber was 6 mins away and went in to buy something but couldn’t find it so was rushing to get out for the Uber. As I’m leaving the shop I have a Tesco bag with my lunch in from previous that day. Clearly was home made lunch empty crisp packet and tinfoil from rolls and half a Pepsi. He stopped me and told me “ you’ve clearly taken something” I said let’s go check cctv then and you can see exactly where I walked and that I didn’t touch a single thing. He said he’s not allowed and called a member of staff. The member of staff said it’s clearly his lunch just let him go.

Tesco Extra is a clean well stocked hypermarket with a great range of fresh and frozen produce, clothes, homeware, wines and spirits and also has a good basic cafe, barbers, opticians, mobile phone department, pharmacy and holiday cash exchange booth.

Clubcard offers are amazing, great choices, my no1 supermarket

After a poorly managed, unnecessary and illogical re-shuffle, none of the aisle signs make any sense to the point where staff dont even know where things have moved to. Painful experience shopping here now... Avoid

Great place to shop. They have very good produce.

Decent store that sells a large range of items, including electronics, toys, clothes and more. They have extensive grocery lines although this seems to have shrunk a little bit over the years e.g. there used to be a large range of tomato ketchup flavours. Lately there's been stock issues with certain items, which may be a country-wide issue and not limited to Tesco but is irritating nonetheless. Online orders are fulfilled by pickers within the store, not by a dedicated warehouse. Unfortunately there's been more than a few times where ordered items have about-to-expire best before dates on them (within 1-2 days of delivery date). If items such as bread or cream cakes are required for longer than 3 days I would recommend to pick them yourself in the store as the pickers will always pick the ones that only have 1-2 days left.

Perfect💯very helpful staff at all times and of course you can get the best deal with your Tesco club card.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Sam who was working collecting trollies in the Hatfield Extra store today. He went above and beyond to help me and I very much appreciated his level of customer care.

If You ordering for online service, then there is only very tiny litlle chance You will get delivered. Especially afternoon, when all managers are going home. I am disbled person, My Wife is also disabled and we didn't get delivired our shopping 4th time in the row. And of course they will never inform You about being late or not coming. You can wait long hours without information. Bedrriden people without food and water. And You know what? Yes, I have been charged for that brilliant service. Thank You, Tesco. No more again and it is time for local media.

You can't go wrong with a big old Tesco store. The store is generally well stocked and has most of what I need. The queues at the till can be long, especially as some staff like to chat with you. I can't say that I tried it, but the beef rump and sirloin steaks looked great. I will definitely have to come back and buy them. Looks expensive though!

Tesco don't sell kidney beans in its raw state and Jamaican patties. You can get them at Asda. Both Asda and Tesco opening times were better before the pandemic. Tesco was opened 24 hours except on a Sunday. I work nights and finish my shift at 5 am. I missed Tesco 24hrs opening times.

Ordered online for delivery between 19.00 and 20.00 on sun 14th Nov no delivery turned up called them on hold for nearly 20 mins get told the delivery will be with us by 21.00 they have driver issues 21.00 no delivery again called them after at least another 20 min on hold and a long conversation with the customer service team the driver turned up. The manager at hatfield on the .com side is a joke no messages from them no calls was told the by the driver the one who should be doing the round never turned up for workso they had to split the van down rather than the manager get in the van himself and drive the 10 delivery's, head office customer service cannot even get hold of the manager or the store on any contact number, I would be concerned that you are unable to make contact with your own store so tesco "every little helps" it would help if you contact your customers to advise of issues, helps if if you keep them posted should there be further delays, helps if you get more staff answering the customer service lines so customers are not left on hold half the evening. In tescos case every little doesn't help. Tesco may as well give you time slots of am or pm just wait in we will be there when we want Waste of time company will place orders with a company who turn up when they are meant to.

Went to mobile phone section last week for advice a very nice knowledgeable young man Kyle helped us We decided to go back and purchase a new phone for my husband who elderly and deaf Kyle was there to take us through the process He answered all our questions wrote things down for my husband to understand and really went over and above Definitely recommend to family and friends

Me and My husband are a disabled couple. We had ordered groceries for a price of 271.92£. The order should arrive on Tuesday between 20.00-21.00. I was waiting, but nobody arrived, nobody called, so at 22.00 I called customer service. I have been told that there is a problem with the van and our shopping will arrive before 23.00. I was waiting until midnight. Still, nobody arrived, nobody called us. In meantime, our order status had changed to "delivered". The next day morning, I called customer service again and I have been promised that our order will arrive later evening between 20.00 and 21.00, so 24 h later. We have been charged for the amount 271£ and money has been taken from our account. Again I was waiting few hours from 20.00. Again nothing happened. The order didn't arrive. Nobody called us. In this situation, I decide to visit Tesco Hatfield personally. Unfortunately, the manager was not able to tell me anything about our order. He had no clue about anything. I have been suggested that we ordered too much water. This is not the first time when I was told that we are ordering too much water. In past, I was asked by the driver that "do we not have a tap at home?". I would like to underline that we are both disabled people. My husband is using a wheelchair and I am using a disability walker. Now, because of that situation, we are staying without shopping and money. Because we have been charged almost 300£, we do not have money for another order from elsewhere. Thank You, Tesco!

My husband and I moved here in 1990.Tesco is a fantastic supermarket the store is well laid out with a great selection. Staff are very helpful.

My local store , my only ever gripe , it has had a fabulous clothing area refitted out , the choice of clothes is better , the area is huge compared to before , but for some bizarre reason the changing rooms haven’t been included in the refit and now there are none at all , most of us haven’t got the luxury of purchasing , taking home to try on , returning item if unsuitable and the money refunded within a week into your bank , buying clothes alongside your weekly shop is normally a spur of the moment choice when you see something really nice , seeing a lot of women now undressed on the shop floor trying items on , come on Tesco , spare their modesty and supply a few changing rooms ...... This has now put me off and I simply won’t buy due to the hassle of if it’s not suitable

Has possibility the rudest pharmacist in the world. Completely unhelpful and unsympathetic, she made me feel like I was an eye sore to deal with to be honest. Wont bother again. Parking is okay but can be a mare, checkout staff are nice enough. Usually out of a lot of things though I’ve noticed.

Absolutely fantastic I lost my purse with £80 inside just before Christmas the staff was fantastic and it was found abs returned to me within an hour, they have done very well with the COVID pandemic too as while people had to wait in line outside to shop they gave free tea, coffee, juice and biscuits for everyone

Great store to go shopping. Good choice of food and drinks.Has fish , meat and bakery counters . Also has pharmacy, 0ptition and barbers. Good choice kitchenware, bedroom bedding, electrical goods ,kitchenware and music and phone sections. The staff are always helpful and smiley faces. There is also free parking and petrol station on site . I always enjoy shopping here. 100% recomend shopping here at Tesco. Thank you Tesco.

went to store today was so busy . I was greeted at served at the tills by Taylor . what a lovely young man a true testiment to great customer service . he was so pleasent and nice .

This Tesco can be hit and miss sometimes there stock level can be low. Bit what I like about it is it never seems to get busy which is great during covid. It is a bit of a nightmare trying to get out of the car park because of the roundabout.

Been shopping at Tesco for 40 years but on the verge of changing. SNEAKY Price rises, pack size variation, ie, same size box but less content, poor quality new "labels", eg Mollies and mixed price labelling proving to be a pain. Eg price per kilo next to price per 100kg for same product but different presention.

I’ve reduced my star rating following an unpleasant experience last year, 2019. During the summer, there was a promotion for a brand of ice cream outside the store. My grandson was corrected by one of the servers for not covering his mouth when he had a ‘surprise ‘ cough, it was unexpected. We were standing quite a way from the booth, there was also Perspex shielding the ice cream. I thought it was extremely rude of her to reprimand someone else’s kin. It REALLY upset me! The shocker is, my grandson was 3! As a nurse I completely understand the need for infection control, that wasn’t the issue, it was her telling my little grandson off!!!

The staff were absolutely rude, they accused me of shoplifting!! None of the staff are following the social distancing code and keep going the wrong way down the isles. The staff nion stop stare at me, probably because I have brightly dyed hair and load of peircings. They make me feel extremely uncomfortable when I am in the shop. The management don't actually do anything. Any time I tell them about something they say 'they will be re-trained, however they do it all the time anyways. Its descusting.
