CLOSING END OF DECEMBER 23 (ALONG WITH NEXT) Too many open entrances into the cafe make the seating arangemnts awkward, and a cold wind blusters through in the winter months due to the front sliding electronic doors constantly opening.

It's a good place to have a coffee after all shopping from Tesco and next, in side Costa Coffee good place for sitting and big car park for parking.

Really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff

We ordered hot chocolate but it was too bad it was not sweet.

Ordered a Mocha, waited 15 minutes, when my drink was ready and I was called over the server gave my drink away to somebody else. Server apologised and 'remade' my drink, as it was to take out I didn't check it until back in the car on the go, I have been given a cup of warm milk?No coffee or hot chocolate powder inside?!

A typical Costa. Staff work hard to keep up with orders and currently busier than usual as the Tesco superstore cafe is currently closed for refurbishment.

I'd give 0 stars if I could. I have never had such terrible service in my life, it wasn't even a service. Myself and one other customer were standing at the till waiting to order and not one of your staff acknowledged us, not ONE. I get you can be busy but to plain ignore people who are paying their wages and keeping your business going is just appaling. I left my food on the counter and walked out. Wont even attempt to waste my money on Costa coffee ever again. Absolute farce

It is always a pleasure visiting this branch of Costa Coffee. The store is always very clean, and the staff are always welcoming, friendly, and polite. Of course, the gorgeous coffee is not to be missed.

I was been there to drink a couple tea,twice time - two weeks difference,and every time the employee has give me an excuse to serve all of as , the tea ,in paper cup - ( the wash machine is damaged ). UK is the center of civilisation, you take your wife and you go somewhere to drink a tea and one butter croissant- and they serve you in the papers cup ,like in the train station. I was very disappointed- I'm not going there anymore

It's a large chain with average everything. Choice, quality, atmosphere. But at least you know what you get will be, er, average.

Although theres always a queue at this popular outlet (inside NEXT). You get served quite quickly..staff communicate well. Only negative thing is the prices...Over £4. For a latte...puts you off going again. Plus Costa prices have all gone up with inflation but still well overpriced..sorry.

Was the worst coffee we have ever had at a Costa there were 3 staff behind the counter and was waiting several minutes before being served I ordered 2 coffees my latte was awful I had skin ontop of the milk which I have never had before on a latte .We chose to sit outside as we had our dog with us all the tables were dirty and trays left on the floor found the staff quite rude and they definitely need someone who knows how to make coffee my husband left his coffee so we would not recommend or go back

It is what it says on the tin, nice enough coffee shop. Wait in line to be served slightly longer than it should have been but drinks were very nice.

One of the best Costas with great friendly helpful staff and the best coffee always made and run by a great manager. Can't help think that they need more staff as they seem to be rushed off their feet at times but are always working hard to please their customers.

Ordered cold drinks batista missed loud order waited an age blueberry frangipan had crust where it was left unwrapped straws to small ttake up blueberry bubbles

Had a great cup of coffee friendly staff. plenty of sandwiches and cakes if you want them the only criticism is its not clear which way the cue line goes

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean toilets. Light cafe with a big window and USB points. Did I read somewhere that Costa coffee is 5 times as strong as other leading high street brands ? Anyway, it is strong enough to help you recover from the shock of most price rises, and it needs to be.

Came in recently and was served by a lovely guy, he really was amazing and had such fabulous customer service skills hence i wanted to leave a review, I wish I had got his name. Best hot chocolate I've had in a long time, freshly toasted tea cake was lovely. Tables were cleared and clean, que moved pretty quickly compared to other costas too. I would return just to be served by the chatty young man.

Ordered a coffee frappé with caramel sauce and a lemon tart. Lemon tart was beautiful! Stood waiting for my frappe watching the baristas and realised they were making my drink. After about 10 minutes I questioned this, and the server hadn't informed the staff they needed to make my drink. Once they checked the receipt they made my drink instantly and apologised.

Rooms too hot. TV remote didn't work. Free coffee not very nice. Big rooms. Clean. Friendly staff.

Visited when COVID restrictions still in place which were adhered to very strictly. Place spotless quickly cleared and cleaned when table vacated. Staff brilliant so was coffee.

I normally live a Costa its always fast friendly service. This one had a slow service and the toasties was so over cooked it tasted burnt, not enjoyable also not worth complaining as the queue was ridiculous.. wouldn't waste over £14 for 2xtoasties and 2xhot drinks in this Costa again

Slow & expensive, like every Costa I've been to.

Just had chocolate and green tea with mini-panettone and a mince pie. All good and seved nicely by polite and efficient staff. Environment within the cafe was clean. It was not too busy and waiting time for service was only about 5 min. Sadly, there was a lot of rubbish outside, including napkins and cups , and the bins were overflowing (see photo). This really spoiled the atmosphere and did not say much for the environmental policy of Costa.

Very annoying alarm sounding the whole time we were there. It was not a fire alarm and my friend said it had been going off the last time she was there.

Staff friendly, coffee was as expected but no stock of cakes or sandwiches so disappointing. When are they bringing back the Carrot cake we all need something to look forward to in these strange times.

Great selection of seasonal drinks and snacks

The tables were set out with social distancing - only every other table was in use. There seemed to be a member of staff dedicated to clearing tables and cleaning them regularly between customers.

Cheap at 50% off. Toasted sandwiches had no taste and soggy. Worst ones I have had for a while. Will not order food again there. Coffee good.
