I went into Tesco Cafe in Longton for breakfast and the food was awful. I ordered the bacon, scrambled egg, cheese, caramelised onion and peri-peri mayonnaise and it was just weird. The scrambled egg was a texture I've never seen before and was bland. As for the caramelised onion and mayonnaise, who ever thought that would go together with it all needs sacking. I was going to change the order to poached eggs on toast, until I saw another customer send his back. Awful, awful, awful! I gave the 2 sympathy stars for the guy who.served me, as he was lovely.

Just writing about the toilets in Bath Street. Longton One of the worst toilets facilities. I've ever used shocking. Considering there's a pandemic. Washing facilities non that work properly. Complained a number of times. No joy at all.

Ordered a jacket potato with tuna and salad.. was not worth the money. There wasn't enough filling the tuna was dry.. not enough mayo not enough spring onion. And the salad had no dressing but was ok.. the best thing about the whole thing was the cup of coffee.. and the staff are friendly.

A few things to say about this Cafe, it’s convenient being part of a Tesco, the STAFF were excellent, think Lydia or poss Layla served us, everything perfect up to that point, saw the banner offering Egg Royale £5.50, my mate fancied poached egg on toast, cup of Americano black coffee which I must say was excellent (I’m normally a Costa fan) & would return just for the coffee, anyway, food arrived, that’s where things started to go a little south, see piccy of Poached age on toast, THE COOK needs to learn to cook the most basic food...! BUT on the other hand the Egg Royale was absolutely lovely, maybe 2 Cooks on yesterday.? All in all I was happy my friend not so, but u can’t please everybody I guess but cooking lessons are needed. We would return though..

I shop here regularly and have from time to time taken a break in the restaurant in the store. It's a bit tatty. not a venue for fine-dining, but worth the break for a snack. Staff were friendly and the venue as clean as might be expected for high volume visitors. I have been to other supermarket restaurants, this is okay but not outstanding.

It's 24hrs but the only time you can guarantee a good selection of food is first thing in the morning. Shelves are always empty or in boxes on the top of shelves. The worse part about this store is how disgusting the customer toilets are, they are appaulling. I witnessed the cleaners clean the toilets that involved a quick clean with a dirty mop. Disgusting for a such a large chain of supermarkets.

Cold, over cooked food. The seating area is also Cole. The tea and coffee is awful. I’ve been there several times and just had a coffee but say to myself it’s probably got better but no

Having Travelled a few hours on the motorways myself and a good friend [ Tapper ] decided we would give Tesco a try for breakfast, cost around £16 that was for two of us, full English a pot of tea and coffee, consisted of 2 x sosages, 2 x bacon, fried bread, eggs, beans, mushroom, tomatoes,[ tinned or fresh ] black pudding, and toast,so not to expensive for the amount and all cooked very nicely

The picture of the breakfast at Tesco is aquarate . The egg yoke was hard. So was the bacon . I thought about taking the bacon home and use it on my shoes it was as tough as leather. I don't eat beans but they were cold too. We objected and after 25 mins we had a hot cooked breakfast. However it didn't end there. We had drunk our tea and asked for a fresh pot free. But it was added to the bill. After an argument with the Manager who couldn't see why we needed free tea when we drunk it. We had to wait 30 minutes and wanted tea with the food.

If you want anything you can get it from tesco. There is a large car park that joins onto other outlets and Longton town centre. It is close to the A50. It's convenient for your daily or weekly shop.

Jedzenie najlepiej kupić sobie w sklepie i przynieść do stolika chyba. Inaczej nie ma szans na zjedzenie czegoś świeżego. Dawno nie dostałam takiego gumowego croissanta jak tam. Wszystko, absolutnie wszystko było strasznie.

Nothing special really. Same as any other Tesco I suppose. Staff friendly. The only problem is that sometimes the cold drink dispenser is broken so you can’t have any.

I have been a couple of times. for the breakfast which is hit and miss, it is a greasy fry up, very oily. The costa coffee is what sells it really.

I and the family went to the Tesco extra cafe for some breakfast, we ordered food and drinks which, appeared extremely expensive considering the food was very poor and didn't not taste nice and the quality that we expected for the price we paid. Also, we ordered 2 teas and both cups came with dried tea inside and sticky on the outside (basically haven't been cleaned) as well as the spoon that we were expected to stir our tea with. Would definitely not come here again...not even for a drink.

There is very little you can't find in this Tesco. Apart from your usual shopping, clothing, electrical and toy's. You have a pharmacy, an opticians and a very good make-up and beauty department. They regularly do free nail polishing and makeovers and I notice now you can get your teeth whitened and have a bit of threading done, not that I've used any of the latter but it's great for those confident lad's and lasses who don't mind sitting in the middle of a superstore having these things done :)

Went today with my daughter who is 4. The kids lunch deal, choose any 5 items, was ridiculous - there was only 5 items available!! Very frustrating for a parent with a fussy child when there is no choice at all. I asked the staff where the other choices were and they said they ran out and I could double up on something instead. I asked if I could swap one of the choices for a snack bar or a cake but I was told no. There wasn't even any fresh fruit available in the kids lunch choices. There was only one choice of crisps for the kids lunch pack so I asked if I could swap them for quavers but again i was told no. In the end, I chose a babybell, pombear crisps, a yoghurt, another yoghurt and prepared fruit pieces in sugary syrup. The drink was additional and not included in the deal, which pretty much topped it off!

The tables were not cleared. It took 15 minutes to serve a plate of soup with bread rolls (actually warm baguette halves with butter - nice)

I have driven past many times and it is always busy so I thought it must be good! I was mistaken, it must just be the only place open. The oatcakes and the cheese were completely tasteless, the bacon was only half cooked with uncooked white fat - horrible. Sausage was ok. Waste of money for me because we couldn't eat any of it and it was too far to return. Won't be going again.
