I was in the area looking for a blacksmith and I all of a sudden came over terribly hungry. I really fancied a full engine (perhaps English) breakfast and I walked up to the ordering counter and before I even opened my mouth, the man/lady said that my breakfast was ready??” YOU WHAT???” I said. And he/she grabbed my dangling bits and led me over to a table where a full English breakfast was sitting waiting for me. I managed to eat the food on my own ( no help from mummy) and it was drizzling (delicious maybe). Even the tea was delicious… WOW ! I’m planning on booking the place out for my 50 th birthday party, all my 3 friends will be very excited!

Having shopped at this Tesco for the last 13 years this is the first time my wife and family has been this distressed. Very rude staff member, misstreating, and upsetting my family in todays age is totally unexceptable. We won't be shopping here ever again and will encourage other to avoid. Change the management and staff...

Having had breakfast there before which was lovely thought i would take the kids got lunch today. Well what a disappointment. Thought i would have the tuna and spring onion in a jacket potato, well they must have tun out of spring onion as it was missing and the jacket i think had been cooked hours before as it was awful. The skin was rubbery you couldn't cut through usually the best part of a good jacket potato. The only good score i would give it is the young lady serving who was very patient and professional even though she had a queue of customers and although she had told be 20 minute wait for food which was fine the woman in the kitchens felt the need to remind her to tell me by shouting it at her from the back which is unprofessional. So well done to the girl at the counter but not the lady out the back whom presume is the cook. zero score for her.

We were kept waiting for ages to be served. Every table was covered with dirty dishes waiting to be cleaned. We had two pigs under blanket paninis which came out surprisingly quickly after our initial long wait to be served. But no wonder they were quick as they had barely been warmed let alone properly toasted. The middle was stone cold and the panini was soft and cold, was unable to eat it as it was so unpleasant. Watched the cafe workers just walk about ignoring the dirty tables instead of clearing them on their way back to the kitchen. Won't bother again, staff let the cafe down and gave bad impression. I've worked in a very busy supermarket cafe before for 5 years and know how it should be even if short staffed!

Breakfast lovely - really well cooked. Unfortunately cannot recommend staff at front-served by a very rude lady called Michelle who spent her time shouting and swearing at another member of staff

I find Tesco cafes pretty mediocre but this one is certainly one of the best I have been in. Excellent staff who are friendly, chatty and make you feel special. Service, price, food quality all come together to make this one of, if not the best Tesco Cafe I have been in. Standard breakfast, sausage sandwich (only negative was lack of a Bap alternative to bread) and 2 teas for less than £10 - great value.

We chose this venue as both of my parents had been house bound for 4 days due to the heavy snow we have had . Needed somewhere that had a flat snow/slush/ice free entrance way that we could get to without any issues and they could pick up some supplies . With only 4 people in front of us when we arrived i thought we would be served fairly quickly but alas no . Drinks were ordered and made and presented nicely and just short of £10 wasn't bad compared to others . With its position in the store it's not a quiet place for sure , some tables were not in use due to having trays etc etc piled up on them which hadn't been cleaned away . Staff seemed polite but making things look hard work and slow . Full wheelchair access if required . Don't get me started on the stores toilets please

Good Tesco restaurant which has decor that comes across as a little above others I have visited and serves great coffee.

Frankly the range is very limited, the quality is fine but the whole place leaves a lot to be desired. Sad really as this is their new format and we think it a step backwards. Sorry

Why oh why did Tesco lose the Costa link with this cafe. Originally a pretty dismal Tesco cafe run by an equally poor catering company, a refit and branding under the Costa label saw an amazing change. Young staff, excellent coffee, great attitude and top class customer service saw this catapulted to a first class venue. Some months back, the Costa branding vanished, staff changed and down, down it went. My latest visit showed another dip towards oblivion. The ladies looking after the counter appear to have little or no real interest in providing a speedy efficient service. Dealing with customers seems to have taken second place to conversation, faffing around and frankly the standards seem to be rapidly going back to the pre Costa level. Sorry Tesco, this latest experience has confirmed my worst fears that the cafe is on a downward track and I guess, will see me trying some of the other local supermarkets when I am in the area and needing shopping/sustenance.

Seems to me that this cafe has started down the slippery slope as standards appear to be dropping again - funnily since the 'Costa' branding has vanished. Having been run by a major outsourcing Catering corporation who managed to drop it below the poor standard when run by the store, a refit which proudly boasted the Costa Brand saw it peak. High quality food, really cheery helpful and very smart staff providing a high level of customer service took the outlet way above any Supermarket cafe. A great experience which encouraged me to use it every time I visited. Unfortunately, if today's experience is anything to go by, it is heading downwards once again. Two staff trying their best to take orders, control cash, make coffees, deliver food and clear tables just does not work. The loss of the Costa brand makes me wonder if Tesco have taken full control again and we will be heading to the standards previously attained pre the refit. Sincerely hope not!

I have had an occasion to return food that has 'gone off' before its sell by date - I have also had occasion to complain about the attitude of the staff in particular behind the Deli counter - on another occasion I pointed out to the store manager about a toilet that had overflowed - into the toilet area - did I get a thankyou - NO!

Popped in for a pre-shop cooked breakfast. Beans and tomatoes were stone cold, one egg was undercooked, the other like rubber and the fried bread must have been deep fried in six month old fat, it was foul.

We decided to come here for a birthday lunch. The table had been reserved which we strongly recommend if you are visiting during the weekend. We decided on the two cocktails offer and two large carvery’s. We we both wished we had chosen the standard size. There was a choice of beef and gammon with the usual trimmings and plenty of vegetables to choose from or try all. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The meat was cooked perfectly and the Yorkshire, roasted potatoes and parsnips, cauliflower cheese, mash, green beans, cabbage, stuffing and gravy were all perfect. Highly recommend at £8.99 for a standard and £10.99 for a large, it was exceptional value. We will definitely be back for the carvery.

We have visited here a couple of times for afternoon drinks, and on both occasions, we have received a lovely, warm welcome from the landlady, Jo. We will be back to eat next time, as the food selection looks delicious. Its good to know that takeaway is also available. The Red Lion, is a real asset to Bozeat and we look forward to our next visit Thanks Again.😊

The staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodation had been recently modernised. The breakfast was adequate, though its presentation lacked care and attention to detail. Sadly the hotel is in need of basic maintenance: our toilet and shower did not work properly so we had to be given access to another room. Two of our room windows were screwed shut, and the hardware on the third window, which did open, was hanging off. There was mould on the shower tile grouting. The entrance to our room, directly from the courtyard car park, needed to be swept and weeded.
