The butter had a big black hair in it. The eggs and saussage under cooked. Bacon was cold and lots of fat on it. The hash browns were so greasy I didn't want to eat them. Not good.

Food is fine but drinks are never ever what you order. Order oat milk you’ll get cows milk especially if the short old woman with red hairs working. Ask for the drink to be made correctly and you’ll be told you ordered it wrong so that’s how it was made. Every drink on the menu gets made wrong. They put up special drinks and you try and order it off the board and they don’t know what it is.

Chorizo eggs were delicious and fantastic! Welcome new addition that I'd never seen before but glad that I tried! Nice feel to the cafe 🍽️ staff very good 👍

Open until 6 but kitchen closes at 4pm.

Ordered food from here, it kept getting delayed, it has now been an hour since the order has been accepted and is showing a further hour wait. Also unable cancel order, £30 wasted. Do not order from this place

The food was warm not hot.They were very stingy on the amount of baked beans . Their dishwasher isn’t working so we had our hot drinks in takeaway cups. For what they charged it wasn’t very good. Also the hash browns were very greasy. Will not be visiting again

Website said cafe open till 6 pm. We arrived at 4.45 and were refused service as they said they closed at 5pm. I questioned this snd eomsn said we have closed at 5 for months. Sldo pointed out I had been Trying to ring sll day and couldn't get the cafe. Disgusted eith website and service.

this massage to the owner please look your staff . i order beans and toast and look how they make the order. butter is melting. in the bag . every time someone is missing. last time and this time as well

As our hotel did not serve breakfast and café was on our route to our next stop tried here instead of Morrisons. Reasonable choice and slightly more expensive but some different items. Tried their posh beans on toast which were the mixed beans in tomato sauce plus a poached egg on top. Generally quite nice and a good start to the morning. Whilst eating and on leaving noticed café getting quite busy with a long queue forming. Glad we got in early.

Its pretty good I cant lie, I got extra food for having to wait an extra 5 mins. Would recommend to everyone.

Terrible service, grumpy man on the till. We ordered one black coffee and one pot of tea with soya. Lady making drinks gave us cows milk when it said soya on receipt. Obviously needs to do her allergen training again. We understand it was busy and they are obviously understaffed but waiting 15 minutes for 2 drinks is ridiculous.

The food is ok. Service is appalling, under staffed. The staff are rude and miserable and need allergy training. Our family member is dairy intolerant and ordered soya milk but were given cows milk, luckily we spotted it before drinking.

Food is decent. So are workers. Toilets. Men’s was dirty. So I used the females

The food was fine, my poached egg was slightly hard toast was good prices were good. Only Downside is that it’s very loud My recommendation, come here if you want if not don’t bother.

We went here as it was kids eat free over the summer, even so it was very expensive for what was on offer. The breakfast menu was limited and the queue was long. There was a long wait for the food as they’re clearly understaffed, although the staff that were working are friendly . The food when it did eventually arrive was actually ok but small in portion. There are several cafes in the town which are much better than this soulless overpriced poorly staffed cafe

Yesterday we ordered two tuna paninis. One of the workers mistaking sent the wrong type of paninis. But she apologized however we waited quite a while for the right paninis! Coffees and teas were okay! We recommend this company still!!

Bacon bap was good but the runny eggs came out tough and chewy. Tea was nice and the food at least came out fast. Could have been better...

Food is cheap and easy, which isnt an issue...on the day the girl making coffees just didnt want to be there and and had an awful hacking, which seemed to be mostly over the equipment/drinks...there was quite await hot drinks until someone came to help her...thinking great my coffees ready, then the lad helping just belched after handing me the coffee...very unprofessional conduct already...I wont be visiting anytime soon...shame as the rest of the staff seemed great!!!

Chai latte was nice, buty wrap came with a "side salad" to laugh at, what is this, very disappointed.

I've been shopping in Tesco's for years and have been using the cafe every week but have not been happy with the food . It takes an age to come out and 9/10 it's warm or cold I would send it back but it would take longer to get the food back.

The young lady named Gina was absolutely remarkable in serving us. Great personality, just wish she didn't need to sit on a phone book to legally drive!

the pictures of adult meals eg.fish and chips are a gross misrepresentation of what you recieve.The pea portion is overrepresented by approx x5.This is far from the only example.I think this is illegal and should be stopped asap

We always enjoy our visit to this Tesco cafe, the staff lean over backwards to be helpful and are always polite, the service is great and the quality of the food always seem to come up to scratch, it also represents very good value.

I popped in today just to get iced coffe for a travel so I asked for take away like I always do, the old lady behind the counter was very unpleasant but I still remain nice and didn't comment her attitude, when I was supposed to collect my order it turned out the other girl wasn't informed about my takeaway order and prepared drink in glass. I asked if she could change it for me as I am going out, all of sudden old cashier started loudly and without any manners commenting fact that I didn't ask for take away, when I clearly did, it's a real joke to tell me what I said when she was the wrong one from the beginning. Instead of staying quiet and accepting the fact she made mistake when no one even pointed it at her, she decided to behave such rude way towards me. I am so sorry for the young girl which made my coffee for working with the other colegue who clearly can't accept her wrong and is unable to cooperate with other employees.

Food was nice and the wait for the food was between 5-10 minutes.

Food was fine, but I could have bought the food taken it home and cooked it quicker than they served it, over 40 min wait... With no warning and it wasn't even busy

Visited on Sat 19/03/2022, just for a change from the usual before doing my shopping, and at the end of it wished I really hadn't bothered. Very restricted menu, and all I really had in mind was a fairly plain beef burger and chips. Turns out you can't get a beef burger, the only choice were a Vegan burger or a crispy chicken burger, neither of which I wouldn't normally touch with a barge pole. Hungry, so I opted for the chicken and opted for the standard fries (not sweet potato). The crispy chicken burger wasn't crispy and was so small it was hardly noticeable even in the small bap it was served in. Worse was that the fries came out heavily dusted in what seemed to be paprika or similar, not very pleasant if you have a sore and ulcerated mouth due to side effects from medical treatment. I get very offended when it is not made clear that they are going to please themselves not just in what they offer you but alter what is advertised. Couldn't find any meaningful way to make my views known on Tesco's website. Needless to say I won't be going back, they don't deserve the custom

Had a drink in here but when I ordered the person said it hadn’t gone through my payment yet said authorised so I had to show her she was like ‘oh okay’ rude service won’t be returning staff need to cheer a bit I reckon

Well impressed! The vegan breakfast is huge, tasty and good value. Friendly staff and airy feel to the place.

On Monday I took some I support for coffee. I ordered an egg bap but after 20 minutes it had not arrived. As the person I was supporting was getting anxious I cancelled and offered my card to get a refund (£2) As if this wasn't bad enough, I have checked my bank statement and found that I was charges TWICE! Not good for two reasons. I'm sure they could do a lot better..

On Monday morning I waited 20 minutes for an egg bap. I was with someone with an anxiety disorder and needed to cancel the order as he became frustrated. I have looked at my bank statement today and found that instead of getting a refund I was charged £2 TWICE ! Not good for 2 different reasons.

The renovations are such a great improvement, the Cafe looks so different! We have visited recently and enjoyed some breakfast wraps that we ate sitting outside in the sunshine. The new raspberry ripple milkshake was amazing too. Staff were really friendly, food and drinks were great, price was good, 10/10 will be coming back and definitely recommend a visit.

I find if you have a syrup in your coffee they always put far too much in and it's undrinkable, if you have normal coffee you are fine. The food isn't anything amazing or special if you want something cheap and will fill a hole then that's exactly what you'll get from here.

The chips were decent. But the fish was watery like they cooked it in the fish tank. Peas were hard, and the staff don't listen.

Waited 40 minutes for food to arrive. Fish & Chip's were really good but the macaroni cheese was shockingly dry!!!

Awful. Took 10 mins queueing to order. Food - simple breakfast dishes - took 35 minutes to arrive. No sense of apology or even recognition of the ridiculous waiting time. And the food arrived partially cold anyway.

We ordered a lot of custom breakfasts and the lad on the till 5th Sept 10.30 was brilliant and got the order completely right. The delivery was quick, the ingredients fresh and the guy delivering the breakfast was polite and so helpful. 10/10

Very busy at lunch time with at least a 30minute wait for hot food. Not great when you've got a hot drink going cold. Under staffed as always. Food is great when you get it but be warned of the wait.

Over priced ..tight on swaps, but food not bad . But Morrison's is better .and for what I paid for bfast and drink ,I could get a all in @ harvester beefy or tavern. Happier and better b4 refit.. Sorry..

Popped in for a quick snack not expecting too much but was impressed by the quality of the food and service, the staff were working well and were all friendly and helpful. The food was well presented, tasty and good value.

Decent size, reasonable prices of unhealthy but otherwise popular snacks, breakfasts, cakes etc etc.

No cutlery no tea pots, dirty tables and dirty chairs and floor

Not a big eater I asked if you served a small portion of fish and chips but you didn't. So was offered a child's portion of fish fingers (3) plenty of chips and peas that were cooked! I throughly enjoyed it!! And it was hot too. So will go back again and again. Would be nice though if you did serve a smaller portion of fish and chips like some other supermarkets do.

Good lunch options both for adults and children. Fairly priced, professional staff.

We have high expectations of supermarket cafe breakfasts and Morrisons has been our benchmark for some time, but we were in Yeovil and thought we would give Tesco a try. Ordering was easy, the staff were friendly and chatty, our drinks came quickly. So far so good. Then we waited nearly 45 minutes for our breakfast (the cafe was not busy, there was us and maybe 14 other diners at the time. It would see our food appeared at the pass after about 30 minutes and then sat keeping warm. I say warm but when it arrived it was tepid at best. Things had dried out a bit all but some of the white on my egg which had managed to stay unset and gelatinous. All in all, not an experience I wish to have again. Sorry Tesco, we expected more. It was more expensive than your competitor, poorer quality when it came and took way longer than we have ever experienced in other supermarket cafes. Morrison's wins this one, sorry.

Like I said .. it's okay ... but someone needs to get a better brand of coffee in there

A decent coffee and decent food. Reasonable prices, friendly staff, good service. It is what it us, a budget cafe selling value food, and you get what you pay for. You will not be disappointed as long as you do not expect gourmet. Overall a good value for money experience as you would expect from Tesco, but not a great variety.

Man serving us this morning was such a pleasant friendly guy which is amazing to wake up to sets the day off right! food was also good 😍 and cheap i will be going back no complaints from me !

I was not happy to come to the ‘cafe’ and find that they only sold old sandwiches. I was hungry so I got one to find hair in mine which I further refused to eat. Thanks a lot Tesco made my day. Then I saw a dirty sock on the floor😭

The price of "The Breakfast" increased by 30p and the content of the meal reduced by one rasher of bacon--double whammy !!

I have lived in Yeovil for 10 years and have never been to the café at Tesco in all that time. I guess being a bit snobbish I have always thought there are nicer places, especially as the view out the window is the car park.As I had about 20 minutes to kill and needed to be that end of town I braved the travelator upstairs.I was very pleasantly surprised by what I found. An open and light café with a mix of chairs, tables and some arm chairs.It was clean and didn’t feel ‘grotty’ like some supermarket cafés can. The young lad on the desk was polite and efficient and despite appearing to be the only front of house staff member took the time to enquire about my day. My hot chocolate was reasonably priced and very pleasant to drink.All in all a very nice place. It’s just such a shame that the location is so poor.

my wife and I went to tesco cafe in Larkfield kent today ordered 1 breakfast and 1 big breakfast we waited about 10 minutes for the eggs to be cooked and when we recieved our food the eggs was like rubber as if they had been cooked in a microwave the bacon was hard and the sausages had no taste at all and the food was luke warm i don't know if its changed hands or they are just using cheapest available ingredients but the one thing i do know is we will NEVER go back for food again.

I had loads of mysterious brown goo and hairs and also bogeys in my tomatoes. I ate the tomatoes and I can't taste or feel anything after I was paralyzed by the food.

Last month I decided to take a visit to Tesco’s Cafe with my Lady friend expecting to have a nice romantic 3 course meal, firstly I ended up getting lost for several minutes to eventually take a seat and be greeted with “UNEXPECTED ITEM IN BAGGING AREA!” The lovely Tesco’s staff then helped me to my seat at the complete other end of the store. Once I had taken my seat I was given a menu which consisted of many gourmet options like fish fingers and chips, sausage and chips and chicken and chips. I ended up coming here because I heard it was nice and romantic and I planned on proposing to my lady friend, we talked and ate for about an hour and eventful built up the courage, I finally proposed and she said no and walked out, leaving me with the bill, this was bad for me considering I only had £3.67 in my pocket, and that was the end of our 3 and a half week relationship.Nice food, five stars.

Disappointed Lovely atmosphere in the cafe, very friendly and polite staff, reasonably priced and a nice selection, but my birthday treat to myself left much to be desired. The cutlery not only had water marks, but dried food, the coffee was burned, the poached egg was so rubbery you could have played tennis with it, cold toast and a 40 minute wait... Happy birthday to me!

Has improved massively, the food is nice and always hot, fair prices and good amount for kids food, the service was nice and friendly and there is always plenty of pictures and colors for my kids to draw, only drawback was the lack of cutlery and condiments.

For what it is, it's a decent cafe - but it is an extention of Tesco so don't expect anything too amazing. The atmosphere is generally quite warm and cosy, and it's very open plan so you don't feel hemmed in. The service is decent; friendly and approachable. They do seem to be understaffed often which is to be expected from a large corporation like Tesco, but drinks and food generally get out in good time.The food itself is basic and safe, nothing too out of the ordinary and it would satisfy an appetite, just. Drinks are acceptable, but do note that they do not use proper coffee machines and I doubt any of the staff are trained barristas. For this reason the quality is poor in comparison to a proper coffee outlet. However, it is passable.Overall for a quick stop off every now and then, or just a break prior to or after shopping it's "okay", but I wouldn't go out of my way to stop here unless I wasn't passing an alternate outlet. Prices are your standard pricing so it's not like you're getting it "cheap" either.

Service is slow and the coffee is almost nonexistent. The could do with finding out what an americano should be like.

Practically empty and yet all the tables were full of dirty plates and cups with staff standing around looking like they weren't busy. Salad was sincerely average and coffee lukewarm. Won't be using it again.
