Always look forward to getting McDonald’s at Sparkford services. Always hot & freshly made. How McDonald’s should be. Other McDonald’s should take a leaf out of this one. Especially southeast London & Kent

Good food hot and quick with good table service too

Consistently closes inside of the listed hours on Google whenever they decide.

They always leave items out of the order. This has happened multiple times now that it must be done on purpose rather than incompetence.

Just been touched my Jill old lady at McDonalds lovely service I will come again.

Great maccies. Toilets not great.

Got to McDonald’s at 22:10. Both drive thru lanes were closed, I live local and I know that normally one lane is closed at this time of night. The automatic door was shut. We were stood there looking in for a good minute or so. The staff were talking inside (quite close to us) and didn’t even look at us. Quite blatantly ignored us. The other half managed to open the door and asked the staff if they were open as to which they said no sorry. No reason given. The opening times on both Google and on their front door state that they close at 11pm. I’ve never had a problem with this place but it seems like the closing times of the drive thru lanes are getting earlier and earlier as well as the front counter. Would be nice to have reasoning and notice in advance. We had to let people know as they parking up to save them doing what we did.

Just stopped for coffee, which was fine except too often recently it has been lukewarm, so I'm beginning to think paying double may be better if I want hot coffee! I have taken them back and they have changed them, but that really isn't always convenient

This McDonald’s is a letdown and a disappointment. Firstly the washroom (mens) wreaks of faeces and urine. The staff are miserable and from the point of my in restaurant placing and paying for order being burger & chips for 4 people they took absolutely ages to produce and hand the food order over the counter quite clearly because they are giving unfettered priority to all and every drive through customer. I could’ve driven through several times and been fully served before I received my order. Then eventually our wrapped burgers weren’t marked up what they were so inevitably we we’re all guessing who’s burger was who’s and we got it all wrong eating each others. This place scores a minus 10. My recommendation is “avoid !!

"always delivers" - fresh, hot, tasty. Can't wait to go back on my next drive to/back from Cornwall. If you're planning a Maccys pitstop I would strongly urge you to come here and not the one in Ilminster. Well done

Not a great experience. The digital ordering kiosk had no paper to print order slips. Food was delivered quickly. There was no tomato sauce or serviettes available. The Cheesy McCrispy and Bacon tasty didn’t look anything like the pictures. No crispy bacon. This place needs some tlc.

Great if you want projectile vomit and diarrhoea at the same for 6hrs thru the night and diarrhoea for next 7 days , commonly known as food poisoning. What a pong, if you like that sort of thing!

Sign says 24hrs - Google says 11pm - regularly closed at 9pm.

Convenient stop, good food as you’d expect from the Golden Arches. Could be cleaner

Lovely place friendly staff food was fine

Whole place was locked and shut before 10pm, myself and another customer (who had ordered via the app) refused service by the 'manager' as they were closed. Even though website and door sign state open until 11pm, worse still the larger billboard sign states 24hrs! I call the person 'manager' but the atrocious filth of language that came out the mouth would make you believe it was an escaped prisoner and not an employee.

I have been looking to visit Sparkford McDonalds for a while and as it's pretty local on the A303 kind of maybe overseen it. So set out on a set mission to tick this one off. I really like the location next to Wakes Shell Garage and nearby Queen Camel. After negotiating the road cones I do like what I call a small cottage style McD (like Poundbury). The McPlant meal and toffee latte was goid and there was a younger team working. Had a chat with Maddie who served me and I think Sparkford is getting there again.

Slowest drive through you will come across. Be prepared to wait 20 to 30 mins! Good luck

They even try as long as they can They took a shitty route and lost a lot of customers. Overall, I recommend it

Called in for a quick snack on the way to our holiday destination. Staff friendly but service slow and toilets filthy. Good job it was a one off visit.

I came to this mcdonald’s location today for a bit of lunch and I am very impressed to say the least. On this date, the McRib was released back into stores and I thought I would try it considering it is limited time only. And it was so much better than I could’ve imagined, a lovely soft and rectangular shaped bun with bbq sauce and a pork patty. I don’t know whether it’s only so good because of it being the first day of it released again but it was enjoyable! Alongside some more food I had, the chips were salted to perfection and cooked well. the service was lovely, served by a younger man who was very pleasant and even apologised for the wait despite not having to wait long anyway. I have had a very good visit today, and all visits in the past, especially today have been fabulous. keep up the good work team i am impressed.

watching people sneeze behind the counter and then putting there hands on the food and chips ext.

Not a fan I was with family who seemed to enjoy the food.

Standard McDonald's nothing new ,just over priced takeaway food with no frills.

Taste delicious, but not at all healthy. It would be interesting to have a list of ingredients on all their products so customers can be fully aware of what they are eating.

Not fast food if you use the drive thru, bit of a joke to advertise it to be honest.

Actually the coffee is really quite good.

It's a McDonald's. They usually get the order right. Not always that easy to park. Not so easy to get to now the new stretch of the A303 has opened.

Food was hot. The ladies toilet didn't have toilet paper in and the hand dryer wasn't working. No ideal for services, but the restaurant was clean and the staff friendly.

Great location. EV charger worked great. A busy McD's, but was able to order and get a table for 5. Food didn't take too long. A little weird was an employee giving out a kids activity sheet which unfolded into a huge colouring / dot to dot / puzzle / etc - but not a single colouring crayon / pencil in site!

Good for fast food and getting your feet mopped. Of all the Maccy Ds on a roundabout, this is by far the best.

Terrible! tasteless, smaller than ever whilst cost more than ever.

Lady called Sam at Sparkford was lovely. We had travelled along way and she made us very welcome. The 3 kids liked it all too. Very convenient at that area, just off the roundabout on A303.....would stop there again.

Had to wait 35 minutes for our food.

Met expectations of a McDonald's visit. It was awful. Some careless worker over salted the meat, and it was disgusting. Staff member was visibly annoyed when asking for some sauce. Toilets were disgusting, and I walked out with urine all over the soles of my shoes. On a positive note, they did have milkshakes available.

Stopped for a break while driving, ordered via app and it was ready by the time I had left the bathroom, you know what you get with maccies so not disappointed at all

***A359 roundabout is gone with roadworks *** A slight detour of a mile or 2. It's worth noting. Big standard Mcdonalds, they are all the exact same. Hot food, screens to order, small car park which can get very busy on Saturday with holiday makers. Next to a Shell garage. All good.

The worst thing about it was the fact it was a mcdonalds. The staff were all decent, no real complaints, easy quick and what you would expect from a place like this, would reccomend if you want maccies or fast food.

Marie was helpful and provided the thoughtful kind of service we like, rinsing out our reusable mugs and so on. Good coffee

Usual Mcdonalds with poor service experience

A very long wait at the drive-through with only 3 cars and nothing ready. Poor service, waited 20 minutes. Burger was cold with far to much ketchup.

An inviting McDonald's and very nicely decorated. Food brought to the table by a polite gentleman and all staff professional. As always never quite enough staff to be on top of bins, clearing tables etc. Hoping in future for more vegan options ( hopes of a plant based McDonald's 🌱)

WATCH THE PARKING, I AM A BLUE BADGE HOLDER AND HAVE JUST RECEIVED A DEMAND FOR 100 POUND FOR DARING TO EAT MY CHEESEBURGER IN A DISABLED BAY WHICH I AN ENTITLED TO DO , BEWARE OF THE PARKING SITUATION, BEST STOP SOMEWHERE ELSE,,I WILL BE. Its a real pity i regulary tell the staff how polite and helpfull they are, its a pity others are not. This was my favorite.

Very busy on a Sunday afternoon. Served quickly. Long queue but wasn't a long wait.

Restaurant was busy so there was a long wait to collect my order. Tables were dirty and needed wiping but were clear of rubbish.

The service was ridiculously slow here, perhaps they were having an off day. Lotsnof grumpy people stood waiting.

Rubbish everywhere, toilets disgusting, bins absolutely overflowing and drive through so unorganised and queued for 25 minutes for five cars?? AVOID!!!!!

Self service machine did not give out receipt or number for collection, toilets are tiny and disgusting, park and parking totally inadequate, only stopped there for breaking up long journey, but very poor and dirty!!!

This 'A303' MacDonalds is consistently the top location for well cooked, hot, efficiently served and friendly staff. Particularly the drive-in facility. On the rare occasions I drive to the West Country it has never been dislodged from its top-store position - even if the restaurant site is a bit cramped - but this is due to its phenomenal success - it's cause and effect!

We often visit various McDonald's restaurants. The good thing is, you always know what you are going to get, the quality of the food is always good and the price is always very reasonable. Keep up the good work McDonald's

Been multiple times whole meals have been forgotten off the order!!! Always way too overcrowded, foods ok.

Not happy with my latest experience here. Burgers were good but ordered brownies for my children for the staff to give them to a different table then said they could do more if we waited 45 minutes..

Arrived Wednesday at 11pm, they were closed.

The best macdonalds I have ever been to

False advertising there deffinantly not 24 hours all off the time also if you have an order that's more than a happy meal deffinantly check, it's an amazing feeling paying for something you don't get I guess that's why they do it very often.

On a good Friday limited staff, waited 45 mins for food . A staff member said they weren't expecting it to be busy lol . It was GOOD FRIDAY what do you expect

Open but unable to take card payments, so could not order food. Restaurant was empty and drive through was turning virtually all customers away. Not their fault but a sign outside would have been helpful.

Me and my family stopped for a quick breakfast at the drive thru. And everyone who spoke to us were lovely. Especially the lady who gave us our food, Soph. She was so lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. We said we would put in a good word for her as she was probably the nicest McDonald’s employee we had ever met.🫶🏼

States that you are open 24/7 I arrive doors are locked car park is coned off and staff hiding. I ordered on the app and no one came to unlock the door!!!

Apparently they are not 24h, it is the second time this happens to me get here between 2-3 am and they are close, but there is workers inside and all lights on

Parking is extremely limited, not what I’d expect from a McDonalds on a very traffic heavy route. The restaurant wasn’t clean, the food order was wrong and it was generally a very poor experience
