Burger King in South Somerset

Great customer service but this place is disgusting, it’s filthy. The pictures provided are just what I took from my seat, that’s not even looking around to take pictures

Popped in to get a burger, ended up watching two people get in a fight. Staff just watched instead trying to remove the people fighting, overall just a horrible place. If you aren't ordering online don't bother going in, absolute mess.

What a dump - restaurant a total mess - order points not working - staff only interested in Deliveroo and just eat orders and drivers and don’t want to serve you. Left in disgust if the state of the restaurant is anything to go by probably best avoided. Total disgrace

Touch screen menu dirty and very slow Employees not washing hands after handling change Grabbing bags of fries with bare hands and touching fries (right after handling change) Ordered a cheeseburger with ketchup and nothing else and they clearly just grabbed the first and only cheeseburger they had ready (no ketchup and gherkin/pickle) Seating area incredibly outdated and very unclean

The staff there are absolutely lovely, very warm and welcoming, food was lovely and definitely will be going back here.

I don't really have an issue with the food, it's not good but not horrible either. My issue is the customer service. I call this place wanting to ask if they take orders and when they answer I barely get a word in and they threaten to call the police on me, absolutely baffling. The worker was nothing but rude, sassy, just overall vile. I just wanted to ask if you guys take orders over the phone and I got threatened with police and then got rudely told no as if it was that hard to be polite. Would not recommend.

It's always very cold in this establishment. Waited for a very long time for our order and at the present time we were the only customers. Also, we got our order wrong due to take-out deliveries. Large meals however everything is kept the same as a regular sized meal.

Fantastic place love the food and always get great service

I regularly use this Burger King for dinner as much as 4-5 times per week as I cannot cook in my flat. I have always received excellent customer service from the very friendly staff. The food is always hot and prepared perfectly. It's always neatly prepared and wrapped with care unlike mcds which literally throw stuff together and couldn't care less. I'd highly recommend you stop by Burger King if your in the top of town.

Looked nothing like the picture, freezing cold , dry burger, no salad as advertised in picture - ordered as treat - shocking / never again. Yuck!!

Needed to take an extended stop as travelling with a baby. We picked this one. First getting into the carpark, there is little signage so cars entering through the exit, quite chaotic. There was a cue for the toilets as only 2 female and in the cue you get a full view of the men's urinals. The toilets were worse than I have ever seen (and we have been to festivals) clearly have not had a thorough clean in a very very long time! When we went to sit down, the tables and floor are also of the same cleanliness. A gentleman complained about the hygiene in the men's toilets (so must be as vile as the ladies) and the server at BK just rolled her eyes. There was dog poo outside trodden in (obviously not their fault) was the final straw, ended up eating in the car and came away feeling really dirty. An extremely unpleasant experience. Needless to say we won't be going again and can't wait to get to our destination to have a shower!

Quick service and friendly staff

Had my break here with a work colleague, spent well over £20 and was told I would have to pay 30 pence for BBQ sauce,disgrace. Order was also wrong, grubby tired restaurant.

I don’t understand how you’re actively checking the receipt and marking it and still forgetting someone’s food. How do you mark off the dip but not to food it goes with? £45 is a lot of money to spend and not receive your items. Usually love this place. Absolutely appalled.

This lovely lad called charlie was amazing the other day with his dreamy eyes and his amazing ability at servings with a smile. At some point I thought about chomping down on his meat instead of burger kings but I didn’t think it was appropriate with my great nan stood next to me.

Good burger, but WAY too expensive. Nearly £9 for a burger!? Are you kidding? Not a meal, just a burger. It was fine, but don’t take the mickey.

Too busy for size of restaurant, only order at Till available leaving staff tied up with orders so no one has time to clear tables.

Pretty average for a Burger King. First time I went in I ordered a Chicken Royale with bacon & cheese and it was lukewarm, the bacon was stringy with fat and drenched in Mayo; I couldn't finish it all. Also had the new Dorito chicken fries which were underwhelming. Second time I got a Whopper meal instead, which was actually much better than my first experience with the burger being nice and hot indicating it was cooked fresh, with the signature Burger King fries tasting fantastic as they usually do/should. Staff were all quite friendly and helpful, place kept relatively clean (toilets included). Bit of a long wait for the food though, I've had faster food elsewhere. 3/5

Awful! We ate in one evening, it was so cold in there, felt like the air con was on! awful rap music! staff were miserable and chatting to their mates food was cold too. Never again unless it improves.

Food was as expected. This time I didn't end up with burnt plant-based burger!! . Floor is always very sticky but the tables seem to be cleaned thos time too.

The restaurant was absolutely freezing upstairs and down, we had to wait for our food despite no queue, no lids were provided for any of the drinks, the decor is tired and dated and the quality of the food did not reflect the high price. The telling point was when my kids asked could we not eat here again!

It's what you expect from a burger King, the staff are friendly and it not overly expensive. It could do with some TLC though as there still stuck in the early 90s the only down side is there isn't much parking outside but there is a car park less than a 5 minute walk away.

It was ok but tables needed wiping down, bins needed emptying and men's toilets are out of order.

order 2 get 1.....happened to me twice.Incapable of sending you the food you ordered and when the food you didnt order arrives it is cold and horrible.Nice staff but absolutely useless.Please help them

Burger King as king in the smallest city of England

Quite possibly the coldest fast food restaurant, I have visited this side of Moscow. After being introduced to plant-based food, we tried both the plant-based double whopper, along with the plant-based chicken Royale, the latter being quite sumptuous. 👌

Was fine. Staff friendly. Place was clean and tidy stairs were a bit sticky going up stairs. Toilets and baby change upstairs so have stairs to walk up. Food was OK nothing wrong with it haven't been here for years.

Tonight I ordered a delivery trough the app. I was meant to receive 20 chilli cheese bites but to my surprise I received 20 chicken nuggets. I rang the Yeovil BK because my delivery came from there and the person that answered told me to go through the app for the customer service and the order will be fixed. Well there is no phone number so you can speak to a real person, so I had to email them. Of course I didn't even received an acknowledgement email and my problem is still not fixed. Nuggets went into the bin because I don't eat nuggets, waste of money and no way of getting a refund. I will never use the Yeovil BK. And as far as I can see this is a recurrent issue and nothing is done to be changed

Piss poor service, useless staff. Waited 20 minutes to finally get our correct food that we ordered, after receiving the wrong meals and waiting 15 minutes for this…. The girl who took my order clearly put the order in wrong and then all the manager could be bothered to say was ‘you didn’t ask for me I couldn’t help’ couldn’t even bring himself to say ‘sorry for the wait or the error’…. I was standing at the counter for 20 minutes making it perfectly obvious I was STILL waiting. Our burgers were just under the heaters waiting for us so when the girl was promoted again, she went to check and realised they were already there waiting for us, probably for 10 minutes at least! Even after this ordeal I still didn’t get the large portion of fries I ordered and paid for! Awful customer service, shouldn’t employ 12 year olds to so called manage an establishment, whole place needs to learn how to communicate, listen and speak rather than grumble like a spoilt teenager

Expensive and tasteless. My whooper was a flat as a pancake so not much on the whooper side. Back to mcdonalds for a qtr pounder. Looks more like a burger, tastes better and it's cheaper. BK app is awful too.

If I have job there I will make it better and look pretty/ amazing when u come in. You will have great experience

Ordered a double bacon cheese burger and received a double cheeseburger. When phoned the store told that its ubers problem… how is it ubers problem when your staff cant read a ticket properly?

Was a bit of que, but girls served very fast in there. I was there with my daughter she was happy with the food and that hadn't wait for it.

Cold and expensive. £16 for 2 burgers, onion rings and a coffee. But the whopper was cold, seriously cold. Even the cheese didn’t melt. Rubbish

Terrible service, placed an order on Uber eats for two meals tonight at 8:50pm, didn’t arrive till 9:50pm and majority of the order was missing minus the two burgers and a coke! Tried to contact the store and the Uber driver but low and behold no answer, very poor customer service👎

Sorry to say we wasnt happy . Last time we went was ages ago befor covid started was lovely back then . We went today and tables was dirty not clean . I understand if was hort staff maybe but wasnt that busy . Should always make sure there clean . Also hair if have long hair should be in a net if around food yes they had hats they had it tied back but hair should ether be in side there hats or in a net so no hair is showing . The saff was lovely . Food was ok for my children .

Had a meal there today really clean and staff are well dressed and Polite, the meal was hot 🔥 which is a big one for me, didn't use the toilet so can't comment , But over all I had a great experience

This is the 2nd time in just a few months that they left things off my deliveroo order. It's frustrating as I then have to deal with deliveroo to then credit my account then I have to re order, and then of course the waiting time for the re delivery on top. It's a treat for us to have this and to let my own food go cold while I deal with the mess up AGAIN is unacceptable. Sort it out!

I have come here on numerous occasions over last few months. All the staff seem to be more interested in dealing with delivery drivers than customers walking through the door!!!! To top it they couldn't even get the order right No onions no lettuce.. What was in my burger!!!!!!!! Lettuce and onions

Decent service, always fully stocked unlike mcdonald’s etc, good, hot food made fresh to order. good plant based range. however floors are dirty and toilets are in poor condition.

honestly, it's sad. my husband and I decided to have a snack after a trip to the hospital and went here. at first we decided to eat inside, upstairs, but I don’t know what upset me more - the terrible smell of burning or the fact that all the tables were dirty. then we decided to eat on the way and leave and I went to the toilet to wash my hands .. the smell and "cleanliness" are worse than at the station, besides, there was no soap at all. further - worse. Although I am very respectful to the choice of each person, I am personally a vegetarian and ordered a soy whooper, and it is a pity that I did not check the food even before going out, since I got meat instead of soy. Of course, many can say that I was mistaken, but forgive me, I am able to distinguish meat from soybeans, besides, my husband, eating my burger, was happy that this meat was normal for him. I understand that mistakes happen and not everything depends on the workers, but this is too much, guys. even the drinks were terrible, although how can you ruin a sprite and cola? and finally, onion rings are edible, but burnt

Staff seemed very nice , tables and toilets very clean also the floor . Busy lunchtime visit but food turned up as ordered and was nice and hot ! Took a bit of time to order via the Burger kinging app but hot there in the end !!

Ok, decoratively could do with a bit of a refresh. But oh my! I had a vegan royale AND veggie whopper! 🤣 All the fast food joints near me have opted out of meat free options (I'm not vegetarian but if it hasn't seen daylight, I'm not eating it!) And I'm not even a fast food fan, but on a day out with my son, decided to have a try as Burger King is a bit of a throwback from my youth (stumbling out of nightclubs and heading straight for the spicy bean burger! 🤭) If you're in the mood, the veggie/vegan versions are spot on- tasty, much better prepared and fresher tasting than I was expecting from a burger chain. Thick, crunchy gherkins and plenty of salad. And actual flavour. Oh, and the buns didn't look like they were out of a fisher price kitchen set either. I just wouldn't eat two again! 🤰

Staff were friendly but service was very slow. All the meals were cooked to order, but during a lunch rush this wasn't the best for service time. The food however was very nicely cooked.

My partner and myself bought our lunch here. My partner had a chicken royal meal and I had a whopper and chicken royal meal. Both meals were delicious and cooked to perfection and valueformoney. The Burger king restaurant was very clean and the staff were very polite and attentive.

Absolutely disgusting !! Not only was the food cold the amount of time they handled the food with no gloves on and through it into the bag. I also sat in to eat with my family, we sat up stairs and not 1 table was clean mind we were the only ones up stairs 🤮 the whole place was dirty and disgusting, not what you want to see during a pandemic 👎

Dirty tables the whole time I was there not one member of staff cleaned the tables. Not even the option to do it yourself

Food was alright. Toilets need a deep clean. Not been done for a long time I would guess! I'm surprised that Burger King doesn't have higher standards.

Grotty, dirty and not being cleaned regularly, avoid this burger King at all cost they do not clean properly, the food is generally luke warm going on cold and the staff aren't the nicest, better places in yeovil to eat than here. Try them

I visited this burger king for lunch on Wednesday & wish I'd of walked straight passed, what a total letdown with the food quality, I ordered at the till & was told if I want to eat in, I will need to use track & trace, which I did, I then took my food upstairs & noticed most of the tables were full of left over food & rubbish, I cleared a table & opened my lunch bag, firstly I had no serviettes & couldn't see any around, I got my fries out & they were stone cold, but the burger when I unwrapped it, oh my god, the bun was as rigid as a rock & when I opened it the meat was stone cold & dried up, there was no way I was eating that junk but there was no team member I could give it to for a replacement, so I just drank my coke zero & left utterly disappointed & still hungry.

Lovely service and delicious food.

Very cheerful helpful staff. Could do with sanitiser points upstairs in restaurant area, plus spray sanitiser available so you can wipe the table before sitting to eat.
