Tesco Cafe in Cannock Chase

Just wanted a coffee and breakfast. We found a table that wasn't covered in the last person's crocks. Nobody was clearing the tables. The queue for food was 6 deep. Ordered poached eggs for my husband and sausage bap for me with two pots of tea. The sausage bap was ok but...the poached eggs were just hard boiled shaped bumps. He said it was a decent egg sandwich - been in the poacher too long. Still people kept coming in and crocks were not cleared - the staff walked past the dirty tables! Staff looked miserable and unfriendly. Different from our last visit.

Would definitely recommend the cafe. Lovely staff. Good day out. Cheap as well. Good day out for the kids

Popped in for a quick lunch break. Had jacket potato. Didn't take too long to arrive. Presentation wasn't that good but still. The potato was still quite hard. I enjoyed it non the less but definitely room for improvement. Nice enough atmosphere. A little slow on service.

Have to give credit when it’s due and we’ll worth it.. We had a full breakfast with a pot of tea and toast, it was freshly cooked warm and tasty… the tea came in a lovely pot not chipped and also tasted like tea… Fantastic and thanks

Breakfast was ok albeit not particularly hot and the price was reasonable but, oh dear, 45 minute wait for 2x breakfast to be brought to the table! No apparent reason, the cafe was busy but not packed (plenty of empty tables) and just a polite "sorry for your wait" when the food eventually turned up - no offer of a fresh hot drink given that we had already finished our tea's by then. Wouldn't recommend and won't be returning - the other places to eat in Hednesford haven't got anything to worry about based upon our visit.

Visited for a quick lunch while shopping. Decided on the fish finger wrap which when it finally came was very nice with fresh salad but it did take 20 Minutes.

Shopping trip with my friend. Came in for full English this morning. Didn’t have to queue and found a table ok. Staff are a bit hit and miss and so was the breakfast and to be honest the surroundings weren’t that clean. Maybe it’s because it’s half term ? I have eaten here before and it was great. So can’t imagine what happened today. It’s not expensive and a typical Tesco restaurant. Love this Tesco’s it’s huge.

One of those places where there was no queue but staff took so long to serve, not particularly clean either.

Staff are really friendly here and it is my local Tesco. Sell everything and is huge! Typical Tesco though so can’t really go wrong.

It’s over priced in my eyes when you take in to consideration the same thing at a bigger store under the same brand is cheaper but it’s convenient and I guess that’s what you pay for

A typical Tesco’s Wide isles. Plenty of choices customer friendly staff and best of all under cover parking for those rainy days

There can be next to nobody in the queue but every time I use here I’m left waiting and waiting to be served. It seems to take them ages to serve people! Staff look half asleep and like they’re in slow mo mode! Ordered a mocha and was given a flat white the other day couldn’t even be bothered to say anything as service is already painfully slow

I had eggs and bacon with a coffee. The food was pretty decent, nice and hot but took a while to come out. I can’t be bothered to post a picture. Cheers.

Usually come here when I'm up this way. Generally the full English is very good, but can be a bit hit and miss...worth the gamble! Portion sizes OK, and a bit cheaper than you'd find in a normal cafe. Coffee OK

Looks imposing from the street with its two story building. but its just your average Tesco supermarket with lower story parking. The cafe is generally busy but not very efficient on delivery of service.
