Never any issues to be honest, food is made at a good time. I prefer picking up than delivery as it's quicker. Taste is fine, looks fine, I'm surprised by other reviews to be fair.

Got 2 large pizzas for a much better price than con artist Domino's pizza, great service really nice guys on the counter

Have used the new Papa Johns in Cannock at least five times now and perfect pizzas every time, staff so lovely and also offered to carry my pizza boxes to my car 🙂

Not sure why people rate it low. I’ve been using them for years never really had an issue. Food served hot and better than the competitors. Only one compliant… I can’t see the American hot on the menu anymore? My favourite!

Not impressed. They’ve reopened under new management, but the pizza remains average at best—comparable to a frozen supermarket pizza but 5x the price. Delivery took too long, with my order arriving 45 minutes after being placed, and the food wasn’t even hot. The delivery driver showed a lack of effort, merely opening the bag and expecting me to retrieve the pizza myself. Given that the prices are on par with Domino's, which offers tastier pizza, a wider variety, and faster delivery, I would recommend avoiding Papa John's Cannock.

After being closed for some months and having the flyer posted through our door saying that it is under new management with £10 large pizza deals, we had to give it another go. Pizzas arrived without delivery issues and it was very hot stuff when it arrived. Great pizzas! We stopped using papa johns before it closed due to the poor service, late delivery (no delivery sometimes) and price. Yet this new introductory deal and new management hopefully will turn things around.

Worst customer experience I have ever had from a fast food restaurant. We phoned to see where our order was only to be deliberately hung up on 3 times. Do not order from these!! Previous order have always been an hour over delivery time

Food arrived after 2 hours but the tracker says delivered after 30mins, 2 phone calls to them and both times apparently food was on way.. for it to eventually come cold and soggy and no bacon on the soggy potato tots !! Dont waste your money !

Really poor service and food. Not for first time, but gave benefit of doubt last time. Mega late after calling me to see if I will collect having ordered for delivery, when arrived 50 mins late the toppings were wrong and crust size incorrect too, called to inform but told they told me they had fulfilled order correctly, they hadn’t. They also told me original crust (which is deep pan) has now changed (pictured) which is nothing like a deep pan. I would imagine their thin crust is now made on a papadum. Terrible company to deal with. Wont bother again.

Slow service, tried to get me to collect a delivery order. Last time I order from here, last time messed my order up promised a refund and had to chase. Orders are always marked as delivered before they arrive, probably so they hit their targets to keep big papa happy. Avoid this place.

Easy process to go through to order, arrived ten minutes after it was labelled as delivered, but was delivered quickly. The pizza was pretty good, much closer in taste to a pizza you could pick up at a supermarket pizza counter. The tatter tots with cheese weren't great, very undercooked and greasy, so much that the cheese wasn't melted. The chicken bites were pretty good, but the worst offender was the special garlic sauce, I was expecting a tangy garlic sauce but it tasted like a spoonful of butter. Overall, everything needs to cook a little longer and avoid the special garlic sauce.

Ordered food at 5.30pm ( site said 25-35 mins for delivery) tracking was a joke, said enjoy your pizza at 6.30pm by 6.55pm I was phoning the store asking where my order was, person was very abrupt on the phone and said it would be a further 10mins. The food actually arrived 2hrs after ordering, I definitely wouldn't recommend using this service

So ordered a pizza. I chased them up for 35 minutes. Said he was just around the corner. Pizza came after 1 hour nd 40 minutes nd it was stone cold. Complained said we will give you a full refund. No refund yet nd it's been over a week, doubt it will be honoured. Extremely poor. I would just stick to pizza hut or dominoes like I normally do.

Still awaiting a refund from PayPal for the invisible pizza that never arrived until 2 hours after ordering, excuse was the delivery vehicle had broken down which I saw was a common excuse made by this branch. Absolutely awful. I've tried to give them the benefit of the doubt many times but they are always well over an hour to deliver, even though their app says it has been delivered within 20 minutes! When you call they say it will be 10-15 minutes but then it never is and when it turns up the pizza is cold. I'll never be ordering from here again.

First time i have ordered from here and i was not disappointed. They took my order, amended the pizza to exactly what i wanted, and even did me a deal over the phone. Pizza came and it was lovely and hot, very tasty with lots of toppings too. Forget ordering through delivery companies, call these direct and you will get exactly what pizza you order, delivered hot and on time! 👍🏼

Never ordering from here again! Absolutely applying delivery service! Cold food, barely any cheese of the pizza. The driver phoned to say that he couldn't find the property, didn't understand a word I was saying to him. He had to drive another 100m in a straight line and would have seen me stood in the Road waiting for him. He then knocked on my neighbours door at 9;40pm and gave him his phone to talk to me. I then had to walk down the road to get my cold horrible pizza and apologise to my angry neighbour!"

Ordered £70 worth of food - nothing turned up. I ordered at 21:07 and was "delivered" at 22:00. I had to chase justeat for the refund, in which they did without question. Absolutely disgraceful service. DON'T ORDER FROM THEM!!!!

The pizza was probably one of the worst pizzas i have tried to eat in a long time no taste-rock hard- the base was dark not golden brown like i thought it was supposed to look like- next time i fancy a pizza i will go to the supermarket and purchase one- for the money i paid i am not pleased- would not order from here again and would not recommend.

Really disappointed after using a different restaurant. Ordered, waited an hour and 10, checked the tracker and it said it had been delivered 20 minutes earlier?? Finally it arrived, 2 boxes. I said to the driver 'are the sides in the box' he said yes. Opened up and yup, no sides, I called the restaurant literally 30 seconds after the driver had left and he said I'll call him, didn't ask for my address and before I could say don't you want it, he'd hung up. I waited 10 minutes and called them back, first call, they hung up and the second call I was met with rudeness. He said you called 2 minutes ago I said no, 10 minutes and the driver should have already been here. He said I'll call him and yet again, before I could say my address, he hung up. I ordered this as a treat for my son (its mid week!! So a treat) still haven't got my sides an hour later 😒 really annoyed. Won't be using Cannock again. Waste of money.

Delivery took 2 hours and was luke warm when arrived. £45 that could have been spent somewhere that cares about their customers. Nobody picks up the phone to answer queries. They must get so many complaints

Absolutely terrible, waited over an hour 50mins, for pizza, tried to contact them for over 30 minutes but the phone was engaged. Finally got through to them but was rude, didn’t let me speak and hung up on me. Tried to cancel but was unable to. Pizza finally arrived but stone cold and not edible. I also can’t help but notice that papa johns only respond to the positive reviews but that must be because they receive so many negative ones.

Ordered via Uber which stated around a 45min delivery time, 2 hours later I tried to contact the shop to cancel, had to make myself and friends cheese on toast as everyone was starving. I sent the the Pizza away when they had the nerve to knock at my door nearly 2 hours late. Guess what, they still took my payment. So £65 down and no food, not happy!! Never again!!

Twice we have ordered from here and twice we never ended up with our food. On just eat it said our food had been delivered, i rang the restaurant and was told it would be another twenty minutes even after an hour of ordering, even though they closed 20 minutes later. I rang back after 15 to no answer and continued calling to no answer. They had closed and I never received my food. Abysmal place never again

I waited nearly 2 hours for my food. Even though they gave me a free bottle of coke for the wait, my order was wrong. I ordered potato tots with cheese and bacon, the cheese was stuck to the bottom of the box. I ordered bacon and cheese garlic sticks and just got garlic cheese sticks. Food isn’t nice at all and my stomach hurts now

Worst place I’ve ever ordered from. After spending over £100 never received the order even though was told it was 15 minutes away. After 25 minutes waiting called to check where they were as at this point we had been waiting over an hour only to be faced with the worst customer service and down right rudeness. Person on the phone just kept ending the phone and stopped picking up. Very disappointed.

Order still hasn’t come after 1:30 mins called the restaurant and said there’s “traffic” at 2am really? Sat here waiting for a £30 order honestly a joke. Should’ve read the reviews! I had a quick chicken and Chios here and my experience was heavenly. First off, the thingy was available within 3mins. The meal is pocket friendly and mouth-watering at the same time. Overtime I have come to realise they only open in the evenings. The staff are very friendly and very good at what they do

Staff are totally incompetent I placed an order for over £100 and it said it was delivered but it wasn't 20 mins later So I then visited the outlet at Cannock and they had no idea what was going on claiming it was the computer was at fault Took no responsibility for their delivery driver who was incapable of finding an address on main road within a five minute walk of their shop. So my advice is avoid at all costs No compensation was offered My advice is avoid at all costs as we then Luke warm average pizza And a ruined evening

Placed an order just under £40 for food to arrived 2 hours late stone cold and inedible. I called them they told me driver was two minutes away on 4 occasions then refuses to answer to chase my delivery DO NOT use this branch use codsall or Lichfield!

You’ll be lucky if you get something close to what you ordered :( I love PJs as a chain but this branch is just kinda bad. Lichfield and Codsall are much better. I’m vegan, I order the same pizza every week from here and although there’s always something wrong (like a missing topping or wrong sauce), last week my pizza with vegan meat on it also came with bacon. Not too big of a deal considering it only happened once, but I can imagine it might upset other veggies/those who avoid pork for religious reasons. Today I ordered an all day breakfast pizza (cheese, sausage, potato tots and mushrooms), and removed mushrooms and added nothing. Pizza came COVERED in olives, sweet corn, tomato, onion and green peppers - all things I really hate. Would be awful if you have an allergy to anything they have in the store as they clearly aren’t fussed about tossing the wrong thing on your pizza. Just general niggles with the place too. I always order double hot dog sausage and often there’s multiple slices with 1 or 0 pieces of sausage on, called before to report problems and they’ve said they’ll send free stuff that they didn’t send, every time there’s at least 1 general mistake with the order. The online tracking is useless and always says delivered at least 20-30 minutes before it actually arrives.

This has to be the worst place to get a pizza from in cannock £27.48 for large pizza and potatoes. Pizza was cold and very little meat crust was burnt. Potatoes was not cooked and very cold. 2 staff on that could speak very little English and had no manners at all shop looked dirty yes it was late but NO excuse. Will never return and have told every 1 I come into contact with about my experience with papa johns. It’s a brand you should be able to trust this is obviously a franchise that does not care about the brand Papa Johns..

The pizzas etc are just fine, standard Papa Johns. But delivery is atrocious, the food will arrive when it arrives and it will be cold. You’d be better off collecting it yourself if you like hot food, which most people do.

Atrocious Service. Ordered food on Uber Eats, waited 1 hour 10 minutes called them got told 2-3 minutes, Waited 10 minutes rang again claimed food has been delivered, and then got cut the phone off. Had to use a friends phone just to get through and got cut off again. Would give 0 stars if I could. Wont be ordering from here again. Rubbish customer service. Food was never delivered.

Had an issue with the pizzas in the box due to the delivery driver. However the manager called me back to rectify the problem. Pizzas were yummy too!

Useless. Steer clear. Twice now we've ordered food from them, tracking information says it's been delivered when it hasn't, food finally shows up half an hour after that, an hour and ten minutes after we ordered and cold. Lesson learned and we won't ordering from them again.
