Tesco Cafe in Charnwood

Regular here, and has been always good, however went on Christmas eve, cafe was empty however the service was terrible ordered a hot chocolate and veggie breakfast, told them I wanted the hot chocolate and breakfast at the same time, the guy brought the hot chocolate out 20 mins before the breakfast and took nearly 20 mins to bring the breakfast out, even when the cafe was literally empty.

Quiet, food expensive too expensive compared to some higher class places. Staff are little ditzy, have to wait a while for service at till 1 breakfast 1 sausage Cob 1 coffee carton apple juice £17

Visited the cafe at tesco Park Road loughborough with a friend who has a sight problem. My friend told the member of staff that she could not see the menu and ask if they could tell her what they had, the member of staff replied very abruptly " it depends on how hungry you are" and that was her help.. my friend decided on a cheese toastie and I ordered a cup of tea. I was handed my cup of tea in a paper cup and when I ask why I could not have a pot of tea for one I was told the dish washer was broken, I did say politely I would not have ordered the tea had I known. My friends cheese toastie arrived ( i would not feed this to my dog)with no serviettes or cutlery to eat it with so we politely ask for some cutlery and had to go collect it from the counter ( there were no other customers in the cafe) . Had the food been edible I would of put the level of service down to the staff having a bad day but as you can see from the picture it was far from edible.

The staff are so helpful and polite - one of the nicest bunch of people I’ve ever encountered working together. The food and drinks are consistently really good and it’s super handy for our weekly shop.

Went in today after Xmas shopping to order food . Took almost 45 minutes and when it came was nothing but shameful a sad panini with a tiny bit of ham and cheese no presentation really overpriced food that looked nothing but what you’d Chuck in the bin incredibly disappointed would not visit again and will definitely recommend any where else

Menu only good if you are vegan rubbish choice needs more variety.

I have just ordered food and they missed 2 Tropicana and I ordered a strawberry milkshake and I got chocolate not the best ngl

Very pleasant staff, reasonably priced food which was tasty too. Shame they don't cater for gluten free breakfast but very happy with the food nonetheless.

Lovely staff. Great service. Food was poor. Burnt greasy hash brown, burnt black egg and could of been warmer. It's disappointing considering how nice the staff are.

Always great service by friendly staff

The cafe is usually cold these days for some reason. The air conditioning seems to blow cold air. This is not inviting.

Staff are fabulous, can't do enough for you...lovely breakfast.
