I have had to put this under Tesco Cafe but feel their home delivery needs reviewing as I would hate for any one else's holiday gett of to the start ours did. We booked a Tesco's home delivery two weeks prior to our departure. On the day of delivery we received an E mail saying our order was out for delivery. The money for the order was taken from the account We arrived at our holiday destination in plenty of time to receive our delivery. Our delivery slot came and went despite numerous phone calls and the promise a manager would contact us none did. Following are last attempt to contact them and we were on hold for half an our we gave up at eleven o'clock when the store closed we gave up for the day wondering if we would get our delivery in the morning. In the morning we received an E mail telling us our order has been cancelled and the money would be in our account in a few days. As Tesco says EVERY LITTLE HELPS Telling us our order is out for delivery when it is not doe's not help. EVERY LITTLE HELPS Taking the money out of the account for a delivery we are not going to receive doesn't help. EVERY LITTLE HELPS Telling us good news you can collect your shopping when we phoned which would have resulted in over an hour's drive did not help our contract was for you to deliver. If you had said you were unable to deliver we could have collected it when we were in Thirsk when they told us our order was out for delivery so we dashed of to be in time for delivery doesn't help EVERY LITTLE HELPS Offering a woosh voucher doesn't help. EVERY LITTLE HELPS Promising someone would get back to us and having spinless managers who can't deal with unsatisfied customers doesn't help. EVERY LITTLE HELPS The same spinless managers cancelling our order via E mail rather than speak to you doesn't help. EVERY LITTLE HELPS Having to wait for you to put the money back into the account when we now have to go out and buy shopping again doesn't help. EVERY LITTLE HELPS Finding Beadlam Grange for breakfast (as we had no food) where customer service was the norm . They fitted us in despite being busy and resolving problems did help EVERY LITTLE HELPS Going to Aldi in Pickering with helpful friendly staff to get what Tesco's so spectacularly failed helped. .

12 years over the legal age for alcohol! The old goat at the till asked for "one" of our I.D's (my brother and myself). My brother now has to waste time and go out to the car and get his I.D. Finally gets back and the lady tells him she doesn't care about him, she wants to see the I.D "of the person not paying for it." Refuses to give her name out... I asked her so if an old man bought alcohol and was with his grandson, the grandson needs to show ID as well... Tesco, you need to start checking on education before hiring people, because god you have some dumb people working at your Thirsk branch!

I went to the Tesco store in Kingsbridge. The entrance is in a blind spot. And the exit is basically the entrance. You have to go all around, so if you park near the entrance you have got to go around. Thats my first faults. My second is when you go inside the store the staff are milling around talking to eachother, ignoring customers who PAY THEIR WAGES. I was going to buy more than I did, but they don't make customers welcome. There is NO DISABILITY ACCESS FROM THE RELEIF ROAD, steps to the store. There are steps either end of the car park of the store. I begin to wonder who owns Tesco. Certainly not a Devon company. The manager for the Kingsbridge Devon store is more than likely from Devon, so if anyone is not from Devon they don't get the job, yet they have got a job so why do they come across so unwelcoming? I feel that I don't want to shop at Tesco in Kingsbridge Devon.

I'm registered disabled. I dont walk well. Disabled bays are limited. I parked close as possible to store entrance. No official bay to park. Full with unqualified parking. After over 43 years of loyal customer patronage I get a miserable ticket for being in the wrong parking bay that was reduced . This is also after approaching security at front door to explain my parking issue. I still got a ticket / fine. This is a very fine way to treat a customer. Despicable. Disabled customer at that. Have you paid all your TAX dues in recent years ?? RSVP. would be grate??!!

I bought my mum 2 sprays of carnations on the 6th November 2019 and she has told me that they still are looking gorgeous and have not wilted to date. What a great purchase they were. My mum is thrilled as they are her favourite flowers and can't believe I got them in a store. Well done Tescos and thank you. Susan Robson

This is an average Tesco store that is clean and tidy. We struggled to find a particular item so asked a member of staff who was shelf filling. She stopped what she was doing, took us to where the item was, showed it to us and asked if there was anything else she could do. First rate customer service!

A nice sized shop which I use for most of my shopping. Easy to park, always spaces. I like the size of the shop, I can get everything I want without getting confused by where to find things which is a problem in the large Tesco Extra stores. I also like the fact that I can get my fuel at the same time as my shopping and prices usually cheaper than other filling stations in the area

I do most of my weekly shop here mainly as I live near the store. It’s mostly very good. But I’ve asked th3 family not to buy celebration cakes here in future. My birthday cake was dry and Yuk. It went out for the birds. I prefer the Into town to Waitrose or M/S where they do a lovely selection of cakes that are never dry. But overall Mr Tesco I give you 8/10 which is a reasonable score.

This isn't the usual sort of Cafe for Tesco that I'm used to! They only serve snacks, which are quite expensive, they don't serve g/f sandwiches, jacket potatoes etc, so as a coeliac, I can only eat a slice of g/f uf available. Disappointing really, plus side, friendly staff & clean.

Dropped in for a bit of shopping & wanted a cuppa & a sandwich. But thought the sandwiches were very expensive at £3.75'ish - which seemed very odd as the store's sandwiches were cheaper & displayed nearby. We didn't bother to eat. Perhapsy Tesco have leased the catering to an outside company.

A lovely little independent pub and restaurant in the heart of Northallerton. We were having a shopping day in the market town and looking for lunch came across the brilliantly named Tickle Toby. It was homely and welcoming with friendly staff and great food.

Just been served the worst Chinese meal I have ever had. I can cook better. If they set out to serve up a meal that had no taste and chicken as dry as it could be, with a large ladle of “gravy” on top (gravy like a Sunday dinner) they have achieved what they aimed for. Utterly appalling. And to be offered a discount on my next meal…… I don’t think so. Just refund my money please, yes the card payment even though the little sign says “sorry no card payment machine tonight, cash only” Hmmmmm DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY PEOPLE

We booked for Sunday lunch as we were staying nearby. Very welcoming and fantastic Sunday lunch. Beef was delicious, and I don't normally like beef for a roast as I find it dry. This wasn't at all! Our 6 year old had the chicken roast and our 4 year old had the turkey dinosaurs (first time I've seen this on a children's menu). Both children enjoyed their meals. We found the landlord so friendly and accommodating and the fire was lit, making a lovely atmosphere. We returned later in the week for a drink after a day out. Again, fire was lit and we had a lovely welcome. Landlord even remembered our sons name and what the children liked to drink. Our daughter just kept saying "I love it here!". She also said that the Yorkshire puddings are better than mine - I can't really complain about that! We would return if we didn't live nearly four hours away 😔
