Tesco Cafe in Walsall

Salmon and egg bagels are very tasty

Hot drink was priced 3.20 upwards. I chose the bigger option. For sole reason a few extra marshmallows was 0.95. Not a big cup either compared to starbucks. Not an amazing place and like the tesco west brom should be better.

Service poor brought out wrong order instead of just changing it the young man said its what we had asked for it was rectified but then the replacement was uncooked some items were too overcooked we would of complained but the reaction we got over the other issue we just left we won't go again I know that

I arrived just before 0800hrs, when the venue opened. I ordered a breakfast and orange juice, which were served promptly. The meal was hot and tasty, ans reasonably priced. The staff member who served me was friendly and efficient, and very smartly turned out, although not in the usual Tesco uniform. I shall certainly visit again when I am next in Walsall.

My mum had a jacket potato today ,she waited ages ,when it came it was that over cooked the potato wasnt in there ,poor service and staff not trained

Ordered two cheese and ham panini's as we regularly do elsewhere. But when it arrived , they had obviously been microwaved. Not what we expected.. they should be toasted. So for our lunch we had badly cooked food!!! Hasn't Tesco management trained their catering staff and haven't they provided the right equipment. For what we consider to be a helpful store this has changed our minds.

Everything was just so nice the man who served us was so happy and that made me happy, the food and drinks was very tasty and filling 💕

This is the worst place to go for food or shopping waiting for food is diabolical and shopping use the scan and go got stopped 4 times in a month so o just empty my shopping out the bags and told them scan the items and put them bk as it’s degrading watching people looking at you as they rescan

The food was average at best but my main issue was I the manager - Caroline I think her name was had a very strong odour of marijuana on her person. I also overheard her speaking to a customer about the fact that she used to be a heroine addict and inviting them out to go and smoke marijuana together. I didn’t say anything as I was with my children but i rushed my meal so we could leave asap. Not the sort of thing I want my children to be hearing

I arrived at this establishment full of glee with anticipation, extatic for a fluffy, bolbus spud but instead i was met with a frightful surprise as my meal was not to tge substancial amount for a meal. I was devestated. And to add to the horrendous endevor that I had just embarked my beloved did not recieve the vital ingredient to her meal and was greeted with notging other than an egg shell which was met with her undercooked "eggs". I am absolutely mortified with our meals and will never embark on a journey to tesco cafe.

All the team was great today so was the food a usual 😎

Popped in for tea and cake after completing a busy shop. The staff carried the items over to our table. We always find them to be friendly and helpful.

In my opinion a bit pricey for a breakfast (this size) at supermarket cafe, but other than that clean, staff friendly, good quality and tasty.

Standard service from a supermarket cafe. Food was fine and reasonable priced. Lovely man behind the counter who was friendly and cheerful.

My child was absolutely gutted. He asked for a chocolate milkshake with his meal and he did not get it they totally missed it off. The food we had was really good and tasty cant complain but when a child expects something and doesnt get it you can only imagine what i had to deal with especially as hes autistic!

Food and drink was a little bit cold but nothing a quick warm in the microwave didn’t fix. Other than that it was lovely

Went for lunch with my friends. Ordered fish chips and beans. Was told they did not have any beans. Waited for the fish and chips eventually come asked for mayo was told they only have ketchup. Chips wer rock hard crunchy and seemed like the potato in the chips had been sucked out left with a hard shell. Well over cooked. Fish was the same over cooked watery. All for £17!!!!!! Waste Never again. Was disappointed with the breakfast couple of months back but thought try the lunch menu Should of gone with my initial instinct Stay away!!!!! Awful service awful food

For £7.80 I expect more than 7 chips on both fish and chips not everyone likes tartar sauce so having it on my food wasn't a pleasant taste but can't afford to throw food away very disappointed 😞

The staff was friendly and nice but the things advertised as purchasable look nothing like what they serve you. I ordered a sundae and got what it looked like something someone's already had a half of.

It looks like the cafe has had a revamp and we were so impressed. Loads of vegan and vegetarian options, food and drinks were great, nice atmosphere and the ladies working that day were so super helpful to the point I even made a note of their names and came on here to write a review!! Lol! Thank you Kerrian & Melissa - we will be back again the next time we stay at the travelodge 😃

Great experience today good food as normal very fresh. Big shout out to Gemma who went above and beyond, made my daughters day (taking the spring onions out) would recommend. Thank you for your help

Items missing from breakfast. Cold toast no butter provided. 80% of it was cold and old

The cafe and menu have had a makeover and it it a great place to have a quick cuppa or brunch in town. The new decor is bright and clean. Staff are always friendly and chatty. Lots of seating available and you can “people watch” from the window! Lots of food and drink options and some really good choices for vegans and vegetarians. Very happy.

Amazing scampi and chips is really nice.even gave me extra chips thanks guys

It was so late that the food was arriving as I was leaving my house, I couldn’t eat while driving so I never took the delivery so I am now short on my breakfast as well as money.

Driver had the most awful attitude

Asked for scrambled egg which they usually do and i didn’t receive that otherwise food and service is normally 5 star.

Food arrived on time, but it was cold and was missing two items. A latte and toastie. Tried to call but got no answer. Won't bother again.

Vegetarian breakfast was beautiful one of the best I've had! The only fault I have with it was a little cold.

For the amount of money you pay, the portion sizes are ridiculous. 1 tiny sausage and 1 hard and dry bit of bacon.

Didn't deliver one of the baps, wife had to give hers to daughter as they only sent one. Not happy considering the price of the missing item either...

Great food was lovely and came hot still

The fried toast was like 2 bricks, i never even attempted to bite them. The tomato was literally cut in half and not even cooked. What you pay for you are better off ordering from your local cafe which actually feels like a full english.

So, it came on time and was hot, always a bonus, however, it is a case of you get what you pay for, sausage was thumb size but tasty and the Bacon of poor quality and very small, black pudding very salty. Nice beans, small egg and an ungrilled half of tomato, fried bread okish, the lime crush was nice. Would I order again!! Probably not, but not to bad for a supermarket, would probably stick to the local cafe in future, more value for your pound...👍

Food was piping hot and came quickly! Lime crush and cloudy lemonade were lovely, will definitely order again ☺️

Me and my mom had the worst possible service at this cafe. We ordered 3 cold drinks and 2 hot meals off the lunch menu. People who were served after us were given food and drinks before us and the staff were very slow. One member of staff was just standing around while the other made the drinks. We then got our food before our drinks which was not good. The food is normally enjoyable to eat but the past few days the food has been hard to swallow. The chips are cooked then left to dry under the heater then put in the microwave to heat up. The scampi was just right not too hard or too soft. The mushy peas were dry as if they were heated up in the microwave. The only decent thing on my plate was the tartar sauce and the scampi. Me and my mom we eat at least twice sometimes 3 times a week at this cafe and yet the service is shockingly below average. I have tried other food items and sometimes the food is good and other times the food is really bad. This cafe needs to improve on the quality of service and the quality of food. If I see improvement I Will give my review 5 stars but from what I've experienced the service and food is 2-3 stars only. I would give less but the reason for the 3 stars is 1 star for the service and 2 stars for the food. For the price we pay we expect more quality if not quantity. Until I see a big improvement on the quality if service and food my review stays as 3 stars.

Only took around 15-20 mins for delivery, food was hot and lovely. Breakfast wrap was delish, tuna panini and chips were lovely. Portions are big enough to fill you up but not too much that it leaves you feeling horrible afterwards :) would deffo order again.

Amazing! we ordered breakfasts, Food was great and cooked perfectly, sausage was a little small but still delicious and actually the portion size of the overall breakfast was perfect. We did ask for no tomatoes but we did get them anyway, which even though I’m mentioning it, it wasn’t a big deal. I ordered a cloudy lemonade, which is YUM!! And my partner had iced latte which he said was good too. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again. Great price and yummy food.

Vegan breakfast, this was very poor, it was cold, consisted of baked beans,uncooked mushroom, tomato,toast, advocao, spinach,it was very quiet I was 1 of four people so they wasn't busy, I wouldn't recommend this, the shop on the whole is really good for groceries, parking is easily accessible for town shopping.

If I couldn't give it a star I wouldn't its embarresing to tesco that they have that in there the manager in Walsall cafe is so arrogant never cracks a smile the way she talks to her staff is unacceptable I had a bacon sandwich with 2 pieces of bacon now I've worked in cafes and we use fresh bacon this was pulled out the freeza already cooked and the chicken is from the freeza already cooked aswell the sandwich was dry as the soles on the managers feet.... Place needs shutting down or the manager needs the sack its a simple as that or its gonna go down the pan

Wasnt impressed with the food and my son's childs sandwich didn't have any butter and barely any cheese

Reasonably priced cafe, with on super helpful and friendly member of staff. Good healthy and vegetarian options.
