Staff always friendly and nice food lovely nice and clean

Don’t order the scone, it’s cold and doesn’t come with cream

For a supermarket cafe it’s excellent service & quality breakfast. Was pleasantly surprised by taste of breakfast meal & lovely staff .

Went here on 25/6/2024 for breakfast with my fiancée and I went to the counter to ask whether they take cash and I Was told no they don't in a attitude manner by a bloke and I don't understand why a supermarket is supporting pride they had the flags all around the store. The first cashless cafe I've seen and I wo t be returning die to the attitude of the staff absolutely stinking. Should be ashamed of yourselves..

Every time we visit we are greeted by staff who are always attentive and available to help. The new electronic system works well and saves from having to queue like previous visits. Busy at time of visit and expected a bit of a wait, but food came out promptly and as always to a high standard, presented well and warm, so well done to the staff in the kitchen especially when under pressure. Again the positive thing is we were able to wait for the food sat down because of the faster ordering system rather than standing to queue so definitely a bonus. Staff very polite when interacting, even though it was evident they were very busy so very pleased with the customer service, always ensuring we have everything we need. Would definitely recommend and will be returning again. Keep up the good work. :)

Not the cafe, but only wanted petrol from the petrol station and the two women who are working today (4th April around 12pm) were rude and made me feel as if I was interrupting their gossip. Sorry ladies for making you do your job and getting in the way of your very important conversation. No manners or customer service skills. Just two judgy women who dont want to do their job. All I wanted was to pay for my petrol!

22 minute wait for a takeaway panini and fries, not a word about the wait from staff.

Breakfast was very got hot and delivered to your table all ordered via an app type thing similar to mc donalds .vegan breakfast was impressive

Used to love coming here but since they introduced the digital order system, the service is terrible! We waited 40 minutes for all the food to arrive and it arrived in drive and drabs so our party of 4 (inc. 2 young children) ended up eating at different times and we had to chase items up. Not worth the hassle. Felt sorry for the staff.

Called in today for our usual coffee sat 11th Nov was greated with a machine to make an order mmmmm luckily there was a lovely young man called AJ and young lady with coloured hair didn't catch her name to help AJ was so calm and helpful to an elderly couple who were struggling well done AJ

Sadly Tesco has decided to go self serving card payment only at the cafe, which has pushed away people who don't have credit or debit cards, but still pay by cash. Watched a lot of older customers approach where the counter "was", being told to order at a touch screen and pay with card. They just walked away. Serious mis-step by Tesco. Cafe used to be bouncing at this time, now not even a quarter full. Staff fantastic as ever, but now just drop food to a table, where they used to speak to the customers, know them and interact. Backwards step. Atmosphere bombed. You should be supporting the customers who rely on the cash in their purse and don't have bank accounts. I'll now be moving to my local town cafe before doing my shop.

Extortionate prices, paper cups and food portions very skimpy,really gone downhill

The prices dictate quality of food here. The breakfasts and brunches we ate didn’t taste great and were insubstantial.

Slow service. Not particularly attractive plate of food. Tiny salad on the side of jacket potato.

Food was really good, staff was nice. Went on the Easter Monday so was very busy with long waiting.

Called in here whilst the car was being serviced..I had a latte and a teacake, OH had tea and a bacon roll. The café area was good and very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food and drinks we really good. Will definitely be back.

As a disability scooter user I find facilities at llansamlet Tesco's cafe very good ,but best of all the staff are most helpful, they are always willing to go that extra mile to make your visit stress free well done

We have used The Cafe at Tesco Llansamlet for years when our and about looking for a quick bite. It’s always a pleasant experience, food is always cooked well and very tasty, coffees are nice too. I felt compelled to write this review as I’ve noticed some negative ones on here which doesn’t truly represent the hard work and quality of food the staff put on every day for their customers. ** Bonus, it’s Tesco so the prices are very reasonable **

All 4 members of cafe staff wearing exemption lanyards likely due to being behind plastic screens however once you order they hand you the tray within 2 metres and no mask. They then deliver your food to you walking through the cafe with no mask. I could feel the cafe staff member breathe on my face when putting my food in front of me. Did not feel safe and will unlikely return as a result.

Perfect coffee & breakfast bun, pleasant staff, good service & value for money

We often pop into the Tesco (Llansamlet) cafe for a snack but recently (17 Dec) I had a delicious steak & mushroom pie with mashed potatoes and peas. My wife chose sausages. Always very busy and staff are really friendly.

Visited Tesco llansamlet cafe this morning and the man making the tea,s and coffees was very rude and impatient. Rolling his eyes because I ordered an extra coffee 1 min after starting to make my order. He was obviously putting the poor girl on the till under pressure also. He needs to stack shelves or go on a customer care course! Not going there again!

Nice and friendly staff, the food isn't very good value, can get much better breakfast for better price elsewhere.

Before doing our weekly shop (Thursday 3rd October), we popped into the cafe for a snack but I fell to Temptation. I had steak and mushroom pie and chips, my wife had sausage and mash. The pie really was delicious and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her meal. Staff are always very friendly and hard-working, keeping the tables and floor clean.

Looks like an ordinary cafe but the staff make it special. Always willing to help and know and chat to a lot of customers. Food and drinks top notch and freshly cooked to order but do run out of items sometimes.

Called there today 5th August for poached eggs and toast.. told very very bluntly and sharply by Wayne that they had none.. but they could do scrambled!! Apparently they come in frozen, can you believe it.. Anyway I had the scrambled egg which was quite nice and the lady who brought the food was pleasant.. However Wayne is certainly not in the right job, no customer service skills at all..

My husband and I frequently visit the Tesco Café in the Swansea Marina store for the all day breakfast. Usually we are pleased with the service, value for money and the quality. On one occasion the fried bread was overcooked, but this seemed like a one-off. Today we visited the store and were extremely disappointed. We ordered our food at 14:10. At 14:40 we eventually got our meals minus the hash browns which we were told would follow. They were then brought to us on a separate side plate. The inside of the Hash browns were still frozen. The bacon was extremely overcooked and tough. The fried bread was overcooked. We put some of these items onto the side plate and took them to the counter. We finished the remainder of our meals most of which were OK. We were then brought a side plate with one piece of fried bread and two hash browns. As we had already finished our food, we said we didn’t want them. (Who wants to eat fried bread on its own?) The fried bread looked just as over-cooked as the pieces we had sent back. There was no bacon at all and it was presented with no comment or apology. Instead of an apology of any kind it seemed like we had caused an inconvenience by turning away the items.

£3.75 for a cheese toastie? £2.25 for a tea no thank you tesco

We called into tescos for a coffee and a snack, staff are very nice and helpful, seating area clean, toilets clean, but when you come to food pricing it is scandalous, 2 slices of bread, 1 sausage £2.50, 1 fried egg £1.00 = £3.50 What a rip off.

Called at 3pm for a coffee and toasted tea cake before shopping with my sister. It is what it is a supermarket cafe. Food and drinks acceptable and reasonable prices.

My husband joined us for a quick lunch date today . Bearing in mind it was the busy period 1.30 pm , we received great service and great food . I had the tuna and cucumber sandwich and my husband had the jacket with chilli and cheese . Both meals were lovely and fresh . Tables were cleared promptly and cleaned . Jolly staff which is always nice to see . Will definitely return to this cafe again .

My wife and mother in law called to into Tesco store for shopping and decided to have a snack, I was going to have a bottle of orange, but when I say the price at £2.00 for a very small bottle and the expensive sandwiches, when you can buy for £3.00 a pack of sandwiches, a packet of crisps and a bottle of orange juice, why rip people off, a nice cafe and friendly staff. PRICES to expensive. Will not call to another Tescos cafe.

As with most Tesco Cafe's this was decent if not great - quick service and a decent burger - would visit again

Had to wait 30 mins. for battered cod and a full breakfast.The breakfast was fine but when the fish eventually arrived it was obviously overcooked with lots of the flesh brown in colour and very chewy.Considering it didn't appear to be freshly prepared and cooked (it looked like a frozen fish) it appears to me that whoever cooked it had forgotten it was in the fryer - that might explain the long wait.Would probably call again as we could see other meals being given to other diners which looked fine - but will definitely not order the fish again.Also the staff were quite offish and not at all happy and pleasant and despite trying to engage in a conversation with the girl who served me she just didn't respond and didn't even have eye contact with me.If she was deaf and didn't hear me then I apologise!!

Went here for breakfast. Had the bigger breakfast. Really nice. Staff were fab. I joked that in m & s you got a glass with ice. 2 mins later the staff came back with a glass with ice. Cant fault it
