Poor staff attitude. Went for breakfast around 10am on a Monday. Cafe was about 2/3 full, but not especially busy. Went to sit on a table by the windows to be told by the lady serving'' I would appreciate it if you sat somewhere else as I don't have anyone to clear the table. Please go an sit over there''. There was literally a small plate and cup on the table which I was going to clear myself, and the table was clean. Whilst she did you the words 'appreciate' and 'please', the tone of the voice and the look on her face really showed she wasn't being polite or helpful, and it was more of an order than a request. I didn't bother to explain I was going to clear it, nor did I bother staying for breakfast. Very poor attitude, won't be going back there.

Great restaurant with very friendly staff. Excellent choice of food. The biggest issue for me is that recently the amount of topping on the jacket potatoes has halved. If you have the tuna mayonnaise you're lucky to get one small spoon of tuna, and sadly you end up eating dry potato. If they start putting a decent amount of topping on the jacket potatoes then I will return to this cafe.

Another lovely lunch at Tesco Cafe Shrewsbury. The whole team there are fab. Nikki is always really helpful and so is the lady who served us today, we don't know her name but she has dark hair and is from the north east of England. Really enjoyed our food and hot drinks. It is a HUGE plus that we can get pouring cream with our coffee. Always great, always enjoyable. Thank you!

Wasted 55 minutes of my and my kids life and didn’t even serve us food and when we complained tried to short change us on the refund didn’t offer us free food for wasting our time and didn’t even offer an apologise. Then got stuck in a 18 minutes traffic jam trying to leave the car park. I am absolutely shocked at this service’s a will never shop at Tesco or eat at there cafes. I am that shocked.

First of all I have no idea what I was thinking when I ordered this… a little bit shamefaced to be honest. Never heard of it and read out loud “Fish Finger Wrap” to which the waitress asked do you want fries or salad with that. Taken aback I chose chips and thought I would just go with the flow. I’m not in the least bit surprised it was really as bad and bizarre as it sounded. Looked reasonable enough when it arrived with chips and salad (?) Looked inside and that’s when it turned pear shaped. They had used the cheapest thinnest fish fingers on the planet. Get any images of thick white cod fingers out of your head immediately. It was ridiculous. A ridiculous combination and incredibly disappointing. Please take it off the menu or upgrade the Fish Fingers.

I have shopped here for a while now, and I have become increasingly aware of the amount of Tesco staff pushing round massive trolleys getting home delivery orders together. They are constantly in the way, they are rude, have no manners, and make it very frustrating to actually get to the shelves as they are zipping in and out fulfilling their home delivery orders, albeit to the detriment of normal shoppers. It’s becoming increasingly difficult to get the items I want, and generally they have a very short shelf life and the food goes off very quickly. I will use another supermarket in future as this store is increasingly going down hill.

Early morning stop. Brekkie & shopping before heading back. The croissant was gorgeous! Cafe quiet, clean & tidy, Plenty of choice for all tastes - veggie, vegan, etc. A big thanks to Vikki who was really helpful with us. Will call in again, Diolch.

For the price, you can't complain. Big brekkie for £6.60. could do with one extra staff member on, but then where couldn't in these halcyon days post austerity recession....

£24.70 for 2 medium breakfast better going to Premier Inn for all you can eat the food was OK just over priced

This is our go to place for a great breakfast and great food, we visit at least once a fortnight. The staff work really hard and it's great to see the same staff week after week. Top marks. It's a lovely atmosphere and that's thanks to Tina and Vik at front of house.

The food was ok, it was hot and prepared quickly but i wouldnt pay over £6.00 for a meal. I think the ordering system needs slight work due to having to wait in a big queue for a while especially if customer orders hot drinks we then have to wait extra for the service staff to make these instead of taking over to the table once done.

Tesco cafe shrewbury My grandson and I attend this cafe every two weeks . usually it's busy but the service and food is good .that is usually but we visited on sunday 26th sept and the service and food were substandard . They were fast to take our order and that's when it fell apart . After waiting half an hour for our food I complained within this time about six just eat bags were filled and people who came in after us were being served .after my complaint our food arrived .bacon was done to a crisp so much so you snapped it rather than cut it .the beans were almost black and dry, been out a while I would say I did not want to complain again as my grandson who is only 3 years old was getting bored and starting to play up . Bring back the old staff and get a new chief as the one you have has no idea of cooking times . I think it's time to find a new venue for our Sunday breakfast from now on .

I went to Tesco for breakfast his morning and a couple of the staff were rude and patronising. I don’t like the attitude of who appears to be manager. Don’t forget who your customers are. Don’t talk to them like you’re 3 years old.

I popped in for the first time today and was very pleasantly surprised. The place was busy Tina, Megs and the barista (didn't catch her name) were all brilliant. It's so nice to visit somewhere where the staff are all happy, smiling, understand customer service and what brings people back. I had the ultimate breakfast bap and a flat white, both of which were very good. I will most definitely be back to try some of the other items on the interesting and varied menu,

I visited the cafe on a Friday in January. I was very hungry and therefore excited to eat there. I went with my parents and my younger brother, who is a toddler, and I was looking forward to eat there. I was queuing with my mum and I ordered a meal of sausage and mash. The lady behind the till then proceeded to tell me that they had ran out of sausages. I was a little annoyed by that as I was so hungry and really looking forward to getting my dinner. Then I ordered the steak and mushroom pie and the lady behind the till then told me that they had no pie either. I really didn’t know what to order so I just ordered a bowl of chips and a bowl of onion rings. I received them already really annoyed about not being able to eat the food I wanted but what happened next was the cherry on top. The chips and onion rings came and the bowls were tiny! The chips, there were a just about passable amount and the onion rings.... well... there was only 4.

We called in one Sunday morning; the café was very busy. The drinks were served immediately, the food arrived from the kitchen soon afterwards, staff were friendly and helpful. They struggled to clear the tables, but kept on top of it. The food was well cooked, it seems a bit strange giving a supermarket café an excellent grade, but at the price I think it’s justified.

Easy parking. Relaxed stroll around the shop in the evening. Crowd free and well stocked for Christmas.

Ideally located good car park, nice empty isles compared to some store where isles are stuffed with produce trolleys and wooden pallets.

Really good service, value for money and it is clean. Downside for me after a brain injury was that it is very loud in there which I find difficult to cope with - so probably not that great for people with autism.
