Tesco Cafe in Test Valley

The food is good, fine, what you expect for the price etc I come in here quite a lot because it is decent for breakfast. But the last couple of times the staff have been quite rude to be honest. They told my partner off today for not wanting whipped cream. She told them too late apparently, like it’s such a big effort to remake a drink. I used to work at a cafe it’s really not a big deal and if you find it annoying that’s ok just keep it in your head. There’s no need to tell off a customer like you’re not their teacher. You’re not their mum. Time before that they told us off because they didn’t know how to make a drink they knew how to make perfectly well the last 10 times we’d been in It’s not a dealbreaker I like it fine in there. I’d still go back. The food is worthwhile. I just don’t understand why they keep having a go at us. It’s really weird and uncomfortable. Also there’s not enough 4 seat tables. There’s some but they’re always taken and they could fit more in if they took away some of the two seaters or just jig it around. It’s a minor complaint but it’s not ideal In summary though. Staff just need to cool it a little. I get that the job is hard and stressful but don’t take it out on me and mine. My life sucks I don’t need it

Great service with delicious fast food which arrived quickly. Good hot coffee and would definitely recommend.

Used to be really good but starting to go down hill

Not chunky chips just normal chips for £3 the rest of it was stone cold

No straw for smoothie,bacon was hard and so was the egg and the waffles hard

My husband and I and two grandchildren went in cafe today spent £25 food was very nice but was shocked when I asked for brown bread toasties and staff said as its not busy yes you can but normally only white.Thought they would be encouraging healthy eating.

When we received the food the it was cold over cooked eggs under cooked bacon soggy hash browns greasy. Very unhappy will never order here again

Good quality items, as usual, but the food was cold to luke warm (not sure how, as the delivery was perfectly on time and it's never been before), one of the breakfasts had no beans and only wooden forks had been put in with the food, no knives. This has been the best quality breakfast place for me lately, so surprised and disappointed this time.

Ordered extras. DIDN’T receive them. More care and attention needed.

Really enjoyed the food although bacon a bit bland, but two large items were missing from our order which happens quite a bit. Very strange. Had to get them refunded so no way to find out what happened.

Always super friendly service. Great portion sizes and good food for the price. Nothing spectacular but everything you want from a little cafe. Good options for dietary requirements and nice coffee as well. We come here regularly when we do our shopping - it’s great for some people watching too!

Ordered a BIG breakfast but received a standard size. Quality excellent but someone needs to pay more attention.

Big breakfast - Missing Beans, Bacon and Butter for the toast. Absolutely stone cold. It’s not rocket science guys!!

Don’t bother it’s gone so far downhill I don’t think there’s a way back! Try another cafe this one will just rob you

It’s usually very good and the staff are very good with swapping items around but lately the special requests are either entirely ignored, half ignored or randomly you get one or two or the things you’ve asked for making it up to a small breakfast instead of a large. I keep hoping they will pick back up and send out the salt again, sauces you pay for etc hopefully so if not I will have to abandon for good it’s getting quite annoying to be honest.

I order from here a lot and I’m getting food cold a lot recently, large breakfasts ordered and small one is sent but the worst was ordering a sausage Bap with extras for that Bap to have no top only a bottom. No knife and fork when requested and no condiments when they’ve been paid for. It’s getting worse I’m not sure what’s going on but I think they need to sort themselves out!!

Fantastic. Everything was cooked perfectly and was hot when it arrived. You can’t ask for more.

The food and delivery time were nice. The driver however was rude, practically threw the bag at me and continued his phone conversation through our brief interaction. Our order was also missing our drinks, which we have applied for a refund for.

Good is normally good but today I got anaemic sausages, soggy hash browns when I asked for crispy I asked for runny egg yolk and got nearly hard boiled and I asked for buttered bread instead of toast. Normally this isn’t an issue but today I got black toast,

Really enjoyed my breakfast today, it was still warm when it arrived. It was really tasty, I could have ate double what you get. I think bigger sausages and a bigger piece of bacon would be good. There were a couple of things that would have made it perfect. Part of the black pudding wasn’t cooked on the edge. The egg was well over cooked. It all tasted good though. Thank you

Both breakfasts had no bacon One had no tomato Toast cold and plain. No butter with order Bit disappointing

The wrong order was delivered, most items were missing or replaced by completely different items.

I ordered a breakfast wrap and some chunky chips, the chips never came and the egg for the wrap was just chucked into box

Missed out ingredients from the wrap.

Extras intended for one sandwich were separate and the other extras were missing entirely. Don’t give an option for extras if you can’t be bothered to put them on the sandwich. Seems a bit pointless.

Ordered a sausage roll, instead got another bacon roll, also ordered for 3 hash browns & received none, despite being charged for them - not pleased!

previously ordered the brunch breakfast .. which was ace! Sadly this mornings offering did not live up to the same standard 😕

Absolutely gorgeous. Really enjoyed it. My only suggestion would be not to cook the fried bread for so long. I will try toast next time.

Food was stone cold on arrival. Both breakfasts. Very disappointing as I’ve ordered from here a few times before and it’s been hot on arrival and good quality. Is it down to delivery or the restaurant???

I thought that I put down for the food to be delivered to my work address but once order was placed it said collection not sure what happened there but fortunately I was able to leave work and collect it myself.

It was not made clear that this was connection only, so as I expected delivery I have now wasted £7 on coffee that I’ve not received.

I should be doing an outstanding review for this breakfast but it was missing the sausage and bacon. I ordered the black pudding and mushroom as extras, good job I did as I would be more hungry than I am. The taste of the items I did receive was really nice. I will try them again next week. Let’s hope it all arrives.

I was sceptical having a full English delivered but they package it brilliantly it was hot and delicious especially the fried bread! Now my ‘go to’ when I want a hot breakfast.

Always missing items. Never order extras for baps as they are always forgotten. Drinks never sealed properly so leak over other items

Would of been nice if I actually got what I ordered. Missing half the breakfast all I received from was a sausage and beans 😂

So first time ordering from the tescos cafe. Always had a pleasant experience in shop so never thought this would be awful. My little boy wanted pizza and chips as were isolating. Pizza is just out of a packet microwaved goo. Peas in a non microwaveable pot are dry and horrid. The fact that the pot has melted with food in and still think it’s adequate to serve is terrible- I won’t be ordering again.

Ordered many times and by far this was the worst time. It was cold most likely caused by the delivery driver it never said it left the resturant and then after it was delivered it changed to out for delivery

The breakfast is gorgeous as always, however, i am little disappointed my hot drink is missing. Not sure if it's fault with the restaurant or the driver.
