ordered on just eat ,food came quickly the fish was so lovely i could of eatten it again again , but the chips were all ends and they were cold and all hard out of all the chips there were only about 5 i eat , when i tried to ring them the phone number is always engaged as i tried several times that day , please sort this out as the rest of the order was lovely .

Stumbled upon this place by accident just before Christmas. We're so impressed that it is now out 'go to' chipshop (even though there is one closer to us). Prices are very reasonable. The food is always hot and tastes fresh. Batter is lovely and crispy. Chicken and donner meat are delicious! The staff are friendly, too.

Just thought I should update my earlier review on Terrys. Still offering amazing food. As reviewed before the cod is just wonderful. The battered chips or also so so good. We have also now had a few tikka pittas and have to say we have been very happy with them. Lots of filling and the chicken is moist and tasty - NO NASTY BITS which sometimes you get - its great to have such a reliable local business on our doorstep. Almost forgot to say, the staff in the shop are always pleasant and friendly - that goes a long way these days. Keep up the good work and see you very soon.

Used Terry’s for year but less than half an hour ago i had been up and order 2 battered sausages but when I took a bite inside it was pink and raw therefore not cooked won’t be going there again

Firstly, having worked for the Ronnie Greenfield - Greenfields Fish & Chips Stourbridge Road Halesowen some years ago now I know what Good Fish & Chips are and hence my husband and I do not have them very often because we are always disappointed. We usually use Hooked on Fish Cradley Heath but last night we decided to use Terry's Plaice just up the road from our home. We knew it had changed hands a few months ago. Anyway, we had two large Cod - which were cooked fresh for us - and one portion of chips. At home we plated the food and the Cod was beautiful - thick and broke into large flakes - just like it should - chips were also good but the Fish was amazing - we will be going back again in the next couple of weeks. This review is 100% genuine and honest and if the new owners continue to keep that standard and quality of food available they will soon improve their business. Very well done indeed 🌞

I’ve used Terrys for years always fantastic until now New management and changes very disappointing. Lot of menu items were not available so had to settle for what was available When I got home pie was lukewarm and chips were mainly the hard ends which is not what I paid for More interested in online orders and phone orders than regular customers Also Staff were not wearing masks correctly only covering mouth not nose I think I will be looking at other chip shops from now on Bring back Terry and Alison the A team

Fantasic, fresh food - and cheap! (Battered chips are breathtaking). Great service too - chap that works in there is very helpful and a great host.

We have used Terrys for our fish and chips for the last 15 years and not once had a bad meal. Cant fault it. Just perfect.

Attended today the food was piping hot and the wrap was exceptional staff were polite and welcoming a lovely local chippy one not to be missed

After living here for 20 years this is the best one in the area for sure. Chips are always done nice and price wise it's a lot less than the rivals in the local area

Have used this place very irregularly in the last 10 years. Visited a few weeks ago. When i arrived owner was outside having a cigarette. Came straight back in to shop and started battering some fish. No hand washing involved! Shame but will not be coming here again. Makes you wonder whether hand washing is involved after he uses the toilet!

We have used this chip shop for a while now and sometimes it's good and the food is good but sometimes it's not. I would say it's mediocre to be fair. It seems to depend who's cooking at the time. We have used at different times of the week when passing. Good portions and good prices.

Lovely food, lovely shop workers, would honestly say it's the best chippy in the area, food is served on time and ready in no time

Little gem of a chipshop, food is always good, fresh and tasty and reasonably priced. Shop is clean. Easy to park and pop in. staff are friendly and welcoming, you always feel like they value your custom. Well worth a visit.

Great little chip shop tucked away on an housing estate. Terry always greats you with a smile and an hello and the staff are quite chatty and friendly to. Great food at a reasonable price.

I visit family relatives in Halesowen every year. And This is the place I always go for tea. It has never failed to disappoint over the years. Staff are always so nice polite and friendly. The chips are gorgeous!
