Good friendly service but beer poured tasted quite soapy at first. Football showing on TV which was good and very comfortable chairs.

Guided to this pub as an Itfc fan attending a Villa game. Great venue, good beer at a decent price served by friendly staff who worked their socks off to keep everyone served quickly. Big screen TV's showing the lunchtime football. Darts and a couple of pool tables. Hopefully see you again next year.

Bueno, en primer lugar, en mi opinión, hay algunas o más que algunas críticas falsas. Como hay fotografías de comida y bajo la nueva administración ahora no sirven comida. Falsa crítica en su mejor momento. ¡Probablemente pagado! El personal es grosero, solía ir la mayoría de los fines de semana y realmente disfruté ir allí, especialmente viendo varios partidos de fútbol ahora no voy a poner un pie en las instalaciones y darles mi dinero. No se lo merecen Me refiero a qué pub no sirve comida ridícula. Ni siquiera en menú limitado. The best pub in Birmingham! Never a bad word to say about the staff, the atmosphere & hospitality! Would highly recommend to anyone in Birmingham or anyone travelling to Birmingham.

Too be honest being in the middle of a multi culture area and having evrrything in line for everyone I like going the pub, don't need no food because there is food places near and you can sneak it in... Great pub, friendly and anyone is welcome... We even have the away fans playing the villa, good laugh

Terrible pub since the previous owners left. Very unwelcoming environment. They don’t serve food, rude owners and staff in general. Racial discrimination. Staff talk to certain demographics very degradingly. Do not come here.

Mis padres se reunieron allí después de su funeral en el crematorio. Todo el mundo en la cancha de tenis era tan servicial acomodando la gestión fue más allá para hacer todo lo más fácil posible El bar era excelente, las instalaciones estaban limpias. La comunidad realmente necesita usar este lugar más no puede elogiar al personal allí lo suficiente no lo pierdas usarlo no podría encontrar nada la mitad de bueno que esto en Londres Pulgares arriba Gracias.

Great local place for a few drinks

Ahora bajo nueva gestión, pub fantástico, buena bienvenida cálida y excelentes precios. Impecablemente limpio. . . Marie y su equipo hacen un gran trabajo para hacer de este un gran pub local. Muy recomendable.

Mixed grill was rock hard aka burnt and the steak was burnt aswell!

Myself and the family have been to the Tennis courts for dinner today I had mixed grill and asked for steak medium to well but was Burnt on the outside but well pink when Cut open I couldn't eat it. Such a shame as everything else's was nice but its the main reason I Ordered a mix grill as I fancied a steak 😰. This was for my return visit for my free mixed grill Thank you very much.(7.10.23) BUT yet again it was full of Blood I don't expect Miller and Carter standard as its cheap and cheerful but don't want my steak MOOING at me

Took my family here for a meal. Food came out promptly. Hot and very tasty, drinks where reasonably priced. All the staff where friendly and excellent service. Definitely recommend.

Popped in lunchtime with my family for a drink today, as my grandson was at the Alexander stadium , we ordered drinks and food , the drinks were great and good priced (had a bottle of fizz ) the food was lovely and also well priced , and so were the puddings - the best part of this pub were the staff , nice chilled atmosphere very welcoming and attentive - the service was fab - we would definitely go to this pub again .

I was very happy about the size of the beer garden. However I think it's not acceptable to wait over 20 mins for drinks ordered on the app. They need more staff. They have a big screen for football but do not pay for the bulb for the projector I think this will improve customer in the pub and make it more popular! The table need more cleaning up and they need more staff to work with the work load! So staff work very hard but other seem to struggle with simple orders. This pub is good but could be great with simple improvements!!

The drinks are fine here. Good service. Let down by poor food. Didn't taste nice and tasted like everything came out the microwave. Tables weren't that clean and the place needs a serious refurb. The atmosphere was ok but the crowd here isn't great. Overall decent pub for drinks. Not very family friendly.

An excellent pub that serves food too. A great place to watch sport with a huge screen and seating. Plenty of places to sit inside too, with a beer garden out the back too. The staff are very friendly too. Only popped in for a drink but stayed for a few and if I am in the area again i will certainly visit again Prices are very reasonable too. Well worth a visit whether you want a drink food or to watch sport.

Great pub. I often eat here and every type of meal I’ve had has tasted superb. The amount of television’s is great as there’s always a lot of variety to choose from and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

All thanks to Elysia, we held my mum's funeral wake at the Tennis Court. The buffet that was provided was excellent, more than sufficient for our guests and the room was perfect for us. I would recommend using this venue for any kind of gathering. Thank you so much to the management and staff.

I have to say I was impressed! The staff were very welcoming & explained all the deals to be had. Fish & chips was hot & tasty & my friend enjoyed her burger too.

Not a big fan of this place after standing at the bar for several minutes and being ignored. This was several years back but decided to return. We were in the back I guess the dining area. This was nice clean and bright and the service seemed OK. I did not use the bar this time. There is plenty of parking and looks like it has potential. May eat there in the future.

I recently visited this pub and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed. The manager was exceptionally nice and welcoming. One of the things that stood out to me was the cleanliness of the pub. The floors were spotless, the tables were neatly arranged, and the whole place had a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff were equally friendly and helpful. They were attentive to my needs and provided excellent service throughout my visit. They were also knowledgeable about the menu and were able to make great recommendations. The food was simply amazing! I had the cod and chips and my friend had the chicken tikka masala. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. The menu had a great variety of options, from classic pub fare to more sophisticated dishes, and everything was reasonably priced. Overall, I would highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The manager's warm and welcoming attitude, combined with the clean and friendly atmosphere and amazing food, make it an excellent choice for any occasion.

Cosy friendly great drink good service

Friendly staff, friendly locals and a good atmosphere. Always play the sports, they have a jukebox and pool tables for all your entertainment purposes, really good pub in a good location.

Good choice of food and drink. All seting positions are close to TV screens. There is a pool/ billiards table. Friendly and helpful staff. Car park for about 30 cars. Parking is free at the moment as the meter is not accepting coins.

Been here several times and have never been disappointed. The staff are attentive and friendly, there is a wide range of drinks to choose from and the cod and chips is delicious. Can't wait to go back :)

When for a wake. Nice pub, clean and friendly. Very welcoming. Used to be my local a few years ago. Has been updated since but still retains the same atmosphere. Love the place.

Decent pint, get a free pint of ale every 5 with a card. Pay and display on the front car park tho which is cash only so bear this in mind.

Came today for food with my friend and the food was absolutely beautiful

The staff at the Tennis Court prepared a wonderful buffet and a section of the lounge for my late Cousins wake today. Pub and staff are very welcoming, everywhere is spotlessly clean, great prices and the food selection was excellent. We are so pleased that we chose the Tennis Court and highly recommend it.

Terrible ground bad view rubbish journey to get there and back

Very convenient for the commonwealth games

Had a few hours to kill in between sessions at the athletics so ordered food after waiting for 15 mins to get to the bar. Was told it would be an hour but received both days we went within 15 mins. Although really busy staff were friendly and keeping calm. It was a shame football was on all the screens would have been good to gave at least one showing the ladies hockey match for gold on the Sunday. Great outside space to sit relax and chat with other people attending the stadium with no pressure to move on.

Called in to The Tennis Court after the Commonwealth Olympics for a few beers to avoid all the post games bus queuing. Lovely pub with really great staff who had completely prepared for extra custom. Lovely clean loos, lots of great tables, all cleared and cleaned quickly, super beer garden with lots of benches and umbrellas offering shade. We stayed for food which was great value and served hot and quickly - loads of sauces and cutlery prepared to help yourself and incredible value for food and drinks, kids just £5.79! BRILLIANT JOB folks, absolutely wonderful old school pub hospitality with very cheerful staff - I hope you rake it in over the course of the games as you totally deserve to 😃

A good sized (very busy at this time - Commonwealth Games) pub with a huge garden, close to the Alexander Stadium. Serves good quality food and a great selection of drinks - reasonably priced too, staff appear friendly and helpful. Accessible entrance and toilets. Parking a little restricted, but that's due to the Commonwealth Games restrictions on access for vehicles generally and more access to pedestrians. Very tennis orientated signage inside - as you'd expect from The Tennis Court pub!

When of the best pubs for a good atmosphere i nit been down fir a wile but sundays was my say always a laff with the bar staff and customers had food few times never had a bad meal yet enjoyed everything ive ever eaten one of the best boozers a round
