I love this takeaway and the doner kebabs are BY FAR THE BEST IN THE AREA. It’s with a heavy heart I write this- large used to mean large, now if I order a large it looks no bigger than a medium. I know it must be difficult to judge. Maybe a measurement should be used such as a bigger box or a certain amount of cuts. If it’s just guessed then sometimes the customer will feel shortchanged paying £1.20 more for no more. This stops me giving 5/5

We had two veggie burgers and a ‘garlic torpedo’ with extra toppings yesterday and it was delicious! Very impressed by the veggie burger as they can be very dry but this one was good. Good portion of salad and sauce as well. Prompt delivery and the price was right too.

This woman is vile. Don't put money into her establishment, her food is enough to make you spend the next 24 hours stuck firmly to the loo but she is incapable of taking any feedback or criticism on her inedible chewy rubbish, and if you dare complain you're food is two hours late and then arrives and has to go in the bin then she'll just cut you off and shout over you. She's the worst person I've ever spoke to and clearly runs an awful business. I assume she treats her staff like rubbish with an attitude like that. Says she's never had a complaint about her ribs... Or the tiny portions of dry chewy shish kebab meat in a large, overpriced shish. Erm... Have you not read your own reviews online? Countess customers you've lost for the same reasons. And I see you got rid of your old fbook page too, I read it a while back and at least 5 reviews about the gross ribs and her attitude. Can't believe I ever have them another chance. Quite literally repulsive. Feel sorry for anyone else who works there.

The “lady” who runs this place and speaks to you on the phone is by far the rudest and most useless person I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They got my order wrong, the time of the order wrong. Then wouldn’t cancel it. Then were rude. Then were rude again. Then tried to keep calling me back I’ve an hour later to try and annoy me. I had to block their number. Do not order from here.

Daughter clearly ordered a burger with Barbecue sauce...she had a bite of it as waiting in car for father to get other food ,for rest of the family, from local chippie....she phoned home in distress as mouth burning and eyes streaming -- was wrongly given hot chilli sauce. Upon return to exchange burger our daughter`s eyes were streaming and her tongue burning. No drink was given to rectify this issue. Very little tea could now be eaten as tongue sore.

3 months ago Firstly I had to chase my order twice - once through Hungry House and once myself, as it took just under 2 hours to arrive and I was beginning to lose faith it was ever going to arrive. Aaron from Hungry House webchat called them on my behalf at around an hour of waiting, and was assured my food would be there in 20mins. It took almost another hour to arrive after I had called the restaurant directly myself. I must stress, I was calm, friendly and polite on the webchat and the subsequent calls I had to make. I work in a complaints department for bank and always ensure I'm courteous if I have to call a business as it's a hard job being shouted and moaned at all day. My food eventually arrives and the medium lamb shish kebab I ordered was so small I thought it was a joke. It was so small the whole thing was smaller than my hand, And to put that in perspective, people take the mickey out of my 'baby hands'. So there are 6 small, dry pieces of meat and literally about the same amount of coleslaw you'd get if you spread it on some toast with a knife. A thin smear on top of a couple of slices of cucumber. I figured I'd been sent a kids one my mistake and was debating letting it slide even though I was really disappointed, but I decided to complain once I saw the chicken burger and ribs. I called to complain but didn't get past the kebab issue as the woman who answered the phone clearly wasn't capable of taking criticism on her food. I said, And I quote, 'Hi, I'm sorry to complain but I've just received my delivery and I think I've been sent the wrong kebab as it looks like a child's one' - she doesn't even allow me to complete the sentence before she interrupts and tells me in an extremely defensive voice that no, it's the size she always puts in and just the wrong bread was sent. Now, how would she know the wrong bread was sent before she even knew who I was, what order I was calling about and what kebab I paid for? She then asked my address which when provided, prompted her to adopt an even more stand offish attitude as she had obviously realised I had called to ask where my food was earlier. I mean, how dare a paying customer call when their food is almost 2 hours? They should just sit there for any length of time and be grateful if it turns up at all. I tried to explain that the salad and kebab was not up to standard but she kept repeating over and over again that the bread is just small and she can't help that. After the 4th time of saying the same thing without allowing me to complete a sentence, I became quite put out by her rudeness and I said 'you don't have to keep saying that I'm not thick I can understand you, as someone who waited two hours for food which isn't up to scratch I think I'm within my rights to complain' (all this while she spoke over me and didn't listen) she then said in a really rude and verging on aggressive tone that if I had a problem I can go to Hungry House. She then slammed the phone down so hard I'm surprised it didn't break. I hadn't had the chance to tell her that her chicken burger was inedible, A gooey layer of something brown and slimy on it and about three strands of lettuce on it. Literally it looks disgusting. The mozzarella dippers were so overcooked they couldn't be eaten either. The garlic bread had nothing in it... So little garlic butter it tasted like a dry plain baguette . The pizza was ok, quite enjoyed it - credit where credit is due. The ribs were hard, and there was so little meat on it I just started laughing. The whole thing was quite literally a joke. Another customer complained about the ribs on their Facebook page, and the response given by the 'restaurant' was "well we didn't have any other complaints about them" - again displaying no capability for taking criticism. I am really offended at being spoken to and treated like some out of order customer who just likes to complain. I rarely complain, food has to be pretty spectacularly terrible for me to go to the effort of calling to do so but everything was completely disgusting. Having been treated like that by this 'lady', I strongly urge you to keep your distance from Tennessee Takeout and order from elsewhere. Anywhere else, in fact. The inedible food went straight in a bag alongside the menu in the front bin. Don't order from here unless you like to wait all night for something that looks and tastes like it's already been digested and be spoken to like crap.
