Papa Johns in Bournemouth

Ordered at 6.10pm requesting delivery at 7pm, pizza finally arrived at 8.10pm after PJ decided to send it via Uber. It was barely warm when it arrived and the corn on the cob was dry and shrivelled. Tracking on the app said it was out of the oven at 6.35pm, so presumably waiting around until the uber driver picked it up. Will go elsewhere next time.

Not sure if it's papa John or just eat at fault but ordered food and it never turned up. Papa John's didn't care as it was a third party delivery driver. Just eat can't be contacted so sat around for an hour hoping for the best and nothing turned up.

Pizza was absolutely diabolical.....hardly any topping and ice cold will never order again foods gone into the bin I'll have a £2 frozen pizza it tastes much better

Absolutely diabolical! Do not order from the Wimborne Road branch, the pizza arrived cold, then called them and they wanted to take the pizza back rather than put the situation ion right. Rude staff. Don’t bother…

It's my personal opinion but of all the big pizza takeaways Papa John's is the best. Always just tastes better than it's competition. And it always has amazing deals on its pizza to.

Order food at 6pm for specific delivery at 7.30pm turned up 20 minutes late, Luke warm from being sat out waiting for a driver , meant to have two dips none turned up, disappointing and not cheap

Pizza was dryer than Sahara dessert. Imagine trynna scrimp n save by not putting enough sauce on to save 27p then losing a customer for life. I'm not buying again. Ordering a dominoes right now 🤤 Update: my dominoes was delicious and had a generous amount of sauce. Maybe my pizza at papa John's was just rushed or left in oven too long cause I don't understand how people love this so much. I personal experience was rubbish and I won't buy again. A free pizza to redeem ya self would be necessary as I'm not giving you another penny to be served rushed dry bread again 🤢🤬

Just spent £24 on food that was delivered semi cold. Also I ordered 2 extra sauce pots for dipping crust. There were no sauce pots at all, not even the one you usually get with pizza. Really annoying. Guy on phone say he sending delivery boy back, but no show!!!

Ordered 3 different large pizza's as a treat for the grandson's Turned up quickly and driver very polite. Pizza's on the other hand were very bland and all tasted the same !!! Crusts were chewy and the garlic dip looked more like runny butter and had to go in the bin . Definitely won't be going here again 😒

Ordered online, followed the tracker said order was with delivery driver for around 30mins. When finally arrived was cold and stuff crust was hard cheese. Call the store instantly was greated with a don't really care bad attitude (told it was cold because i live to far). Also accused of making a previous complaint, which i have never done. Once i realised i was getting no where i heated the pizza in the oven, tasted absolutely terrible. Overall worst experience and customer service i have ever received anywhere.

Just ordered two pizzas and they have arrived cold. The stuffed crust is hard. Worst pizzas we have ever had. Rang the guy and he said we wouldn't do anything because we had complained before? We have never complained before because we have never had a problem. After his response and bad attitude I won't be using papa John's again.

Complete shambles of a franchise with zero communication with the customer. Ordered through the papa johns website, order accepted payment accepted, order being cooked. Followed online to see order was being even being checked before delivery. After waiting 1.5 hours from initial order, phoned the branch to find out delivery driver had decided they do not deliver to my postcode so order had never even started. Come late opposite to the website updates. This branch had been assigned through the papa johns website. Branch happy to take the money and we now have to request a refund, it’s not even automatic. Rude over the phone, not willing to help in any way at all. Simply stating it’s not his problem, it’s an error on the website. Happens all the time. If they are aware of this happening then simple customer service of contacting the customer and letting them know would be a great idea. Hangry is an understatement.

Order didn’t show up when we rang the restaurant the manager claimed they weren’t open despite answering the phone then tried to claim they hadn’t received the order despite signing it off as delivered on the app
