Fanelli's Famous Pizza in Bournemouth

Two small pizzas, The four cheese and the fanellis fat boy, The four cheese pizza is absolutely delicious. Just the right amount of each cheese. Perfection.

I honestly don't know how you can make chips taste so bad.

Absolutely shocking. Ordered fish and chips for takeaway. Told 15 min wait...in the end we were sat waiting for over 25 mins to then be told they'd forgotten about doing the order. When I then asked for my money back they took a note out of the till and slapped it on the counter and walked away. Appalling customer service.

Bought a bottle of wine from them as no 24/7 shops around - only to find out it was filled with water (?)

Used this place for ages then tonight I made a mistake while ordering online and was abruptly advised to do the job right next time. This is a great way to lose loyal customers

This is the best pizza around! The only way to describe it is teenage mutant ninja turtle pizza and it is lush!! Good value and fast delivery, love it!

They have a amazing pizza. And the chips are made from fresh potatoes. Everthing delicious. I am a regular customer there. Highly recommended.

It seems this place is a bit of a 50/50 in terms of reviews however, In my experience over a period of a year I have found that the food is good, staff have always been friendly no matter what day. The place is always clean. The food always take a while but it's always tasty so I cant complain.

What a waste of money I can only assume it was because of the airshow you have decided to make food that I wouldn't feed to my dog this was my local go to for food but never again also the homeless man coming into the shop to sell you stolen food you want sly at all very disappointed

Go each week for a pizza and chips to eat by beach - staff are great and food is excellent thank you

Manky quality horrifying chips but the people were nice and I found 5 flys on the fish and there is hair on the plate.

Ordered a takeaway pizza last night.Supposed to be a vegetable supreme with added spicy beef.There were 4 thin cut sliced tomatoes ontop and that was it other than olives.There were about 10 tiny pieces of spicy beef that looked like cat food. Never again .

wow wow wow. We ordered from here tonight for the first time. We usually get a Dominoes as our ‘go to’ but after our Fanellis delivery tonight, we are BIG fans. The pizza’s were fresh, hot and delicious and you can tell they aren’t commercially made like Dominoes. The ribs were meaty, tender hot and tasty. The chicken portion had plenty of meat compared to bones and again tender, hot and tasty. We cannot praise them anymore and recommend them highly. Bye Domino’s and Hello Fanellis.

I used to love their pizza's but they've gone downhill.. I ordered an Hawaiin and a vegetarian the other night... To be honest I've had better from Tesco Express at half the price... I won't be ordering from them anymore... A lot of these takeaways have come too complacent and you can get better quality from Tesco, Asda etc...

We were made to feel extremely welcome and the fish & chips were some of the nicest we have ever had. Would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely be back if we are ever in the area again.

I ordered a meal firat week off july it was very good. Then ordered a meal 3rd week of july. Chips were disgusting. You would not give to a dog. Excuse was that whats head office sent u .you know when potatoes are bad. You cant be that stupid. Excuse was will do better next week. I dont think so. No refund just a excuse. I dont beleive in excuses. Check order before you leave. Yuck

Esta noche entré para pedir una pizza y luego un pan de ajo relleno. El pan de ajo relleno en particular originalmente tenía jamón, pero pedí cebolla, ya que soy vegetariana (que también dije). El chico me hizo repetir los rellenos que quiero. Estaban bien con eso y felices de hacerlo. Volví a la mía, a mitad de camino me doy cuenta de que todavía hay jamón en ella. Fue cortado finamente así que no lo sentí ni lo probé. Pero muy molesto en general por ello.

Fuimos allí anoche, 3 tiendas de pescado y papas fritas directamente una al lado de la otra, pero cada estancia con mi abuela antes de mudarnos aquí, ¡tuvimos la pizza de Fanelli! Cada uno de nosotros ordenó diferentes cosas, excelente calidad y excelentes precios. Tengo una hamburguesa de pollo, fue muy agradable y sabía mucho mejor que los raros microondas que otros lugares dan, el pan se tostó a la perfección y fue tan bueno. Mi mejor amiga tenía una hamburguesa vegetariana, ¡a ella le encantó! ¡Y mi novio tenía una pizza de queso XL y estaba muy feliz! Sin duda volveremos ??

Food has literally given multiple people food poisoning and staff couldn’t care less. Avoid at all costs

The food here is disgusting. Filled with grease and always served cold. Staff are extremely rude and not helpful and the place is absolutely filthy

Ordered 2 fish and chips, was the most greasy meal I have ever had. Only ate half, and started to feel extremely ill after. My friend and I were sent home from work due to food posioning. The employee that answered the phone didn't want to address the situation seriously and was inconsiderate of how their food made us ill.

As someone has previously said this place is a hidden gem. Almost the only place in the southbourne area that does fantastic late night fish and chips. They also deliver. Cant recommend enough.

Here eaten fish and chips. It took a while before the order was ready, but it was worth it. Excellent fries. The shell of the fish was a bit greasy, but the quality was great. A really big piece of fish, delicious in taste and very fresh. And that for such a low price, great!

Ordered here of a Friday night, friendly and attentive staff, prompt service, place looked clean (- has a 5* food hygiene rating), we had the medium Fanelli Fat Boy pizza - it was delicious and perfect for 2 people! Would recommend.

I ordered 3 large pizzas and one burgers and chips and the women was low in change and said she will get the change out of the car. But decided to drive off with the change! But pizzas are amazing! L.symmons

I've been using Fanelli's for years now and they have always provided a top pizza, cooked how I like it and at a price I consider reasonable. Real pizza lovers come here rather than the big chains.

had pizza ordered it was over a hour late we were told it would be 40 min , pizza was cold not cooked & doughy , the potato wedged were cold & oily, I asked if new management , told it was , standard def not as good, will not order anything again !!

Fast delivery and nice pizzas/sides. Good value for money as well. Would recommend the fatboy/famous fanelli pizzas best.

Ordered a small pepperoni pizza for delivery, which was prompt. I'm far from being a pizza expert but found it very dry.

We've eaten here twice recently after a long time away. The first time was reluctant because everywhere I wanted to go to that night was closed so I thought we would give it another go. I was surprised that we got reasonably good pizza. A few weeks later I went back and this time it was terrible. The thin base pizza was thick and doughy, with very variable thickness, with parts of it clearly uncooked. My wife and I were starving but she gave up a third of the way through. One thing I can't understand is why do they cook their pizzas in a tin? You can't stretch the dough out properly and you don't get puffy edges. I don't understand why any restaurant or takeaway does it this way. I suspect it will be another ten years before we say, 'well they might have improved, shall we give it another try'

We regularly order from here. They are super fast at delivery and their pizza is consistently hot and delicious.

Ate here Friday night and will definitely come again. Excellent food. Three of us shared the grilled prawns, rosemary and garlic bread, bresolea and superb fresh olives. Pizzas were stunning! My brother loved the pigs cheeks and Gorgonzola pizza! Too full for dessert. Friendly efficient service despite busy restaurant.

If you want gluten free pizza, DO NOT order from here. Am absolutely furious as ordered 3 pizzas one of which was gf and within 10 minutes was phoned back by the owner. He started conversation by "are you allergic to yeast?" to which I said no as long as its gf flour thats fine. He was mumbling around for a few minutes then said "I'll have to cancel your order as I'm not certain it's ok". What absolute rubbish! They say they do a gf base, I ordered a gf base - what's the problem. Then to compound it he put the phone down on me. Have ordered from here quite a few times but will never order from them again. Or, use their fish & chip next door either.
