Mega pricy place not worth the shot. Unbelievably overpriced dishes with simple ingredients, the opposite of what Spanish food should be.

We tried a walk in at 8pm on a Wednesday and they found a table for 2 very quickly. Service was fast (except for the croquetas which took a bit longer). The food was simply amazing, nothing to fault, even the plating was beautiful. They have classic tapas and more unusual ones; you can try either without a worry. Small minor note in the churros which weren’t cooked inside and were missing some powder sugar as topping in my opinion

One can only hope that they manage to lift their food back to what it used to be, as it seems like they are resting on their laurels.

We enjoyed our dinner the food is decent and the place is cute... well defo comeback! Quantity of food s a bit less forbit price but hopefully next time will get extra more 😁 but over all twas lovely experience. J

The food is good, but the best thing is the atmosphere and the treatment of the waitresses. Order the lemon cake and coconut ice cream!!!!

Wery Good food. You were only allowed to keep the table for 1.5 hours and the staff were a bit stressed to finish. was told that we had to leave as soon as the time was up. otherwise lovely food and could have happily sat longer to eat and drink.

Exceptional prices - but exceptional food. We tasted anchovies, green asparagus, iberian ham, manchego, crispy salmon and avocado tacos and it is really hard to say what was the best...

This is our second visit and the food does not disappoint. Everything is extremely well done - particularly recommend the ham croquettes and the ‘elegant’ patatas bravas . The asparagus was also delicious as was the salmon and avocado taco. Cheese and hams were spectacular. Service is attentive and friendly. The only downside is that it all goes by a bit too quickly - everything comes at a pace - we were in and out in an hour. Not necessarily a bad thing but sometimes you want it to feel just that little bit more relaxed. It is a buzzy, noisy restaurant - not the place for a quiet chat.

Tendido Cero is fantastic fine dinning tapas. We’ve been 4 times and on every occasion the food and service has been outstanding.

Perfect lunch for my husband’s birthday. The ambience was great, the staff very friendly and attentive, and of course the tapas were varied and delicious. Would thoroughly recommend.

Best Spanish restaurant in London. Outstanding service and food

The server Ivanka was so amazing! Our wine and water were always topped up and she was super pleasant. The best dish we had was the braised pork, the one we didn’t care for was the Spanish omelette (tortilla de patata). The wine Sombrero de Paja was delicious and only 35£ a bottle. There was a man playing guitar which gave it even more of an authentic feel . Would definitely recommend for a romantic date or just good food and vibes

Pretty nice local gem. They also have two sister restaurants across the road. Worth booking in advance otherwise trying your luck with walk-ins. Their food was unique, some were a slight twist from the usual expectations which was a nice surprise. They forgot a couple of our dishes, hence it took a little longer for them to arrive. Otherwise, really good!

Delicious food and lovely, very attentive staff. The dishes were so tasty- Pan cristal and baked avocado our favourites. Such a happy atmosphere among the staff gives a very warm ambience.

Love Tendido. Always great food and service. There is a wide selection of tapas. We always have the anchovies.

Great quality tapas with a slight twist - definitely noticed the different between other chains. House wine was very good and reasonably priced (for London). Would recommend.

We liked the food and the ambience but were surprised when we were rushed to leave without having had dessert because the table had a second sitting reservation even though half the tables in the restaurant were empty.

First time we visited this place. Overall very good experience. Liked the octopus.

Nice food, relatively good service. The place is very noisy. Number of wines on the list not available. Overall, they seemed to be in a rush for serving the food. If we would not have slowed them down, we would have been out of the restaurant within the hour. Not my idea of dining in a restaurant on a Saturday night. Will not come back here.

Really good tapas. A pity that they have taken my favourite of pork pluma with pineapple off the menu

Why is everybody in a rush to get you out in this place? Food is okayish. They have a huge winelist, but they came back three times with “I am sorry, but we don’t have this wine anymore” and advising me an other wine that they did not have. We ultimately succeeded in slowing the pace, otherwise we would have finished a four course dinner in less than an hour. It was recommended by our hotel, but would not go back.

The food is amazing, but You always smell garlic and grease at the end of the dinner.

Really enjoyed the food, I love the grilled Octopus I had so delicious! Everything was very tasty and the staff were very attentive, definitely worth the experience.

Nice restaurant, first time here. Looked good online. The pork braised cheek was the best dish we tried. Small menu but fun to try new things and share. They had live music - a man playing guitar.

Delicious food and great service. Chilli and garlic prawns and pork cheek were amazing. The Cava was very nice and crisp. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Good choice of dishes, some unusual ones. Food came quickly but not all at once which was good.

It’s hard to find any fault with this restaurant. The venue is warm and characterful, the service attentive and the food of a really high standard. Everything was perfectly cooked and served at carefully judged intervals. They even cooked fresh bread even though the kitchen was closing. First rate. Kind of makes you wonder why other places are so poor in comparison.

Polite and attentive team. Excellent food - patatas bravas a real winner. Good portion sizes - we had 3 dishes each which was just right. Buzzy and friendly atmosphere. Will be back next time we visit London.

What a SURPRISE- the wine selection outstanding- the food inventive and excellent, the service professional- a restaurant to come back to- We have been to many tapas restaurants and this is one of the best!!

We had an absolutely delicious meal - every dish was superb. The choices were varied and food was beautifully presented. Portions were small, but we followed the recommendation of ordering three dishes each and it was the perfect amount. The service was attentive - if at times a tiny bit overly so (one of my plates was removed before I’d finished eating!)

Delicious food, great vegetarian and seafood options. Had a live guitarist playing fantastic atmosphere really buzzing. One of my favourite restaurants. Will go back! However, a little pricey

Fabulous food! Olives, cheese, tomato bread all amazing! We had pork cheeks, squid and octopus which were so good! For dessert we had churros and chocolate and the lemon tart - delicious!

I visited this place after decades. First, artichokes salad and beetroot were excellent. Tuna tataki was OK. but squid, portion was very small for the price and tough. Meatballs wasn't very exiting as the small meatballs were covered with soggy chips topping... Watresses were trying to be helpful but timing was all wrong. We were very disappointed. I've spoken to the manager about our experience. Hope he would reflect this to improve the restaurant. I used to like this Tapas bar, but I don't think I'll come back again.

The food was very good and so the service, quick and attending. The imposed a £ 60 minimum spent as we were a group of 7 people, and this was not entirely clear at the time of the booking. Toward the end of the dinner, they came to us saying " you are £ 100 under your min spent" and thus we had to order more .... although not really much more hungry... Strange practice, particularly for a restaurant of that kind ... but to know and next time I will have to organise a group dinner elsewhere.

This is definitely the best Spanish restaurant in London. Hands down.

Tuna, prawns and croquettes outstanding plus the service was fantastic. One minor point was that the extensive wine list of 26 pages very hard to navigate using a qr code and iPhone.

Haven't been here for ages - we live out of town...before, we used to come here and Cambio opposite quite often; so nice to come back to...great welcome; staff friendly, efficient and professional especially the girl who served us most and the Brazilian chap Really enjoyable evening; felt like we have never been away and the food was seriously good, as ever

Serving some of the best Spanish food - traditional and also innovative - in London but always holding into a down to earth, warm & welcoming atmosphere. Staff are professional, smart & skilled - as well as friendly and jovial. We returned this time with friends who had never been and they loved it. Had a great evening of delicious food (one guest was gluten free) & wine - plus a lot of fun

Best tapas outside of Spain and certainly the best I came across in London

I visited this restaurant with three friends last night. The food was great - tasty, hot and it was served quickly. However, we were constantly reminded about how long we had left at the table. We were even handed our coats at the table before we’d requested them. We were practically escorted out and no one was even waiting for our table (they were just due to arrive). There were also other empty tables. This put a big dampener on the evening and it was a shame given how nice the food was. We won’t be returning for this reason.

We enjoyed an excellent variety of dishes and they were all delicious. The frittata, grilled asparagus and artichoke salad were particularly good. The staff were incredibly friendly, with a warm and welcoming attitude. Our lunch was very good value for money and we are already considering when we can return for another meal.

I really love this place. I have been a loyal customer for years, since 2007. The food is amazing and the service is also great. It’s been a year since I last came here as was on a sabbatical leave. I was actually surprised (and disappointed) of the size of your famous ham croquettes! (they have decreased in size!) Don’t know whose decision this was but it was a bad one! They are still great though…o

I often order delivery from here once it was bad but most times very good. Food is a bit rich but grateful they are in range. Good option!

We had a wonderful experience, first timers and living in Spain working in London had heard excellent things - certainly a must!!

Cool “next door” tavern to meet up for a bite and drinks. Food taste varies, been a couple times, the service is friendly.

Tapas 3/10: Out of 10 tapas, meat, artichoke were good prawn were okay. Small portions White wine 5/5 Churros sauce 1/5 Creme catalan 2/5 "Cheesecake" 5/5 Payed 3.80 pounds for Tap water "soda water" I didnt understand why. I couldnt ask because I was shy. Payed 230 for 4 people. I was full at the end. But without desert, I wouldnt say I was satisfied with food

Another magnificent night at Tendido Cero where we gathered with old friends and had a feast. The food is amazing as always, the wine exquisite and the service impeccable. Very energetic vibe in the restaurant everyone chatting and laughing and having a great time. A bit of background live Spanish guitar to complement the scene. What could be better? Thanks again for a great evening.

A superb restaurant: great food, value, atmosphere and service.

I have gone to Tendido maybe 150 times in the last 8 years as I live very close by and it always satisfies. The staff are super friendly and attentive, the food arrives fast and is always fresh and the vibe is always happening with all kinds of ages and people. They will never give you a bad table if they can give you a better one. Not like those awful restaurants that “reserve” everything and give you a bad table and then no one uses the “reserved” tables. The quality of the food and service has been high and steady ever since we started going there. It’s a must if you’re in South Kensington!

Lovely birthday meal with my friends and great Monday atmosphere! Shame they don't have the guitar player on a Monday though!

4 of us enjoyed a very nice meal here, with a selection of 12 tapas dishes, the patates bravas and octopus were especially tasty, but really every dish was enjoyable as was the desert of lemon tart and coconut ice cream. The bill came to £324 including 2 bottles of wine and 3 deserts, so not cheap but good for a treat.

Although a bit expensive this is the best Spanish restaurant in London !

Our first visit to Tendido Cero and we were very impressed. Outstanding service, interesting menu choices and top quality food. There was a wide selection of vegan and vegetarian tapas dishes as well as fish and meat ones, and everything was beautifully prepared. Quite generous portions too. Buzzy atmosphere (restaurant was full on a Thursday evening and turning people away).

Great food, good service. Bad acoustics. You can’t hear the person next to you. Restaurants with similar problems have done well by installing a canopy of material (almost like a curtain) on the ceiling to absorb noise.

Great service, lovely food, friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Always great dining here, it's now in the "expensive' category when it was once in the "great value" category but that's London...
