Visited few times over the 2019!Extremely tasty fresh and varied food!staff friendly and welcoming! Very expensive tho so it's a shame not to be able to visit it more often

Perfecto para descansar entre compra y compra. Los camareros muy atentos. Variedad de vinos y cervezas.

Pasé aquí a las 230 pm y preparé un almuerzo especial hasta las 300 pm 15 por cabeza. . . . Se veía tan bien que tenía que entrar. Personal amable, explicó y se atascó. Tapas variadas y, literalmente, comer todo lo que quieras. Bueno para probar diferentes comidas. Es una pena el momento en que llegamos sentimos que teníamos que apresurarnos. Los pudines eran más que asombrosos. . . Volvería cuando en Londres! Cuando fuimos, era un jueves tranquilo perfecto. . . ??

¡Qué sabrosas tapas! Me encantaron tanto como el ambiente, el servicio, la música y los precios. Durante la "hora feliz" puede obtener un acuerdo de 15 libras con recambios ilimitados y créanme, serán numerosos. Buen vino, bien margarita. Repuestos de autoservicio, pero los camareros le traerán sus bebidas y demás. No es necesario reservar con antelación. ¡Iría otra vez!

On y a ouvert la porte par hasard et le hasard a bien fait les choses. Des pintxos nombreux, appétissants et frais. Des olives délicieuses, entre autres bonnes choses. On se fait son assiette et les piques en bois servent de quittance pour la facture. Très bonne crème brûlée pour le dessert. Et un excellent café. Service sympa et décontracté.

Me and my husband ate there around 5.30pm Saturday. We wanted a quick bite to eat and this was perfect. A quirky place which was busy. We loved the choice of tapas, so easy helping yourself, quite easy to take too many though! We didn't know the prices of each (we probably missed that on the way in and our fault for not checking) so we thought it would be a lot more than the bill came to so we were pleasantly surprised! We had a nice G&T too. We would definitely return if we happen to be in the area again.

Great little tapas place on portobello road. Friendly staff. Excellent cocktails. And some great tapas options when we were starved for some flavour variety. At least 12 types of Tapas - if I recall right - and one as good as the other. Unpretentious good food, lovely ambience and generally a great place to hang out !

Nice evening with a friend. I’ve been to both the Pix Covent Garden and Soho and loved them. This is still a great venue but food didn’t seem quite same quality, possibly a quiet evening so less taps turn around. Still pretty good though.

Good food, and friendly staff. Great selection of tapas dishes, and the selection changes during the meal. I will definitely be back, if I come to Notting Hill again.

Me and my boyfriend we found this place in Portobello and I need to say the true: we were lucky.

Excellent. Friendly attentive staff. Food was delicious particularly the chorizo and manchego. Lovely range of small plates. Wine list reasonably priced. We ordered lovely verdejo which went well with the food choice. Atmosphere probably best thing about the place....very cool, cosy and didn't want to leave!

Had a meal for 4 here after cinema and it was ideal. Bit of a buzz but quiet enough to have chat. Friendly staff, great tapas selections to select yourself from display which were constantly updated as we were ate. Prices were very reasonable. Would highly recommend if in the area

My wife and our best friends stopped here for lunch. We had the £15 unlimited tapas, it was very good indeed. Our server was first class (Sorry I didn’t get his name but was from Barcelona) The tapas bar must have had at least 30 different dishes, we washed them down with the best sangria we’ve ever had. I would highly recommend this gem of a restaurant, we will definitely be back

Gracias for a fantastic tapas dinner!!! After strolling through London we dropped by this small tapas bar and fell in love! Great choice of tapas, friendly service, easy atmosphere and nice people! Go there if you cross Portobello!!!

I love Spanish pintxos bars where you can try lots of different freshly made delicious small snacks, Pix is trying to do this in London, the concept is cool but the food I had tried here were so average, not really fresh and delicious, most probably stayed too long on the bar!

If you are looking for small bites to eat, a nice glass of wine or beer and a friendly not too crowded place to start an evening out with friends Pix is a pretty good place to start. The Portobello restaurant is part of a chain so don’t expect culinary miracles. What makes the place is the warm, friendly and attentive service (which says something since you are actually serving yourself from the buffet) and the music selection. The tables are close together along one wall but that just adds to the intimate relaxed atmosphere.

I love Spanish pintxos bars and Pix is one of the good ones in London but not as good and fresh as the original ones you experience in San Sebastian.

A good taste of Basque cuisine on the Portobello Road. Highlights were the flash-fried shishito peppers, cheese croquet with plum sauce. Very good creme caramel. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming like most Spanish restaurants. However be prepared to pay for your bites. The point of ponchos or tapas is the quality of the small bite so you can eat many, have a drink and move to the next place, not to bankrupt you for a meal. Be careful here or you'll be in for a surprise when your bill comes.

Discovered this place by accident, just because it looked inviting. Although quite small, they fit a lot of tables in, but without being noisy or crowded. Nice buffet-style tapas, self-service. Barman looked busy, and the waitress was friendly, so lovely evening. The food was delicious!

I really liked the vibe of this place- but I would recommend it for a drink rather than a place to go for a full sit down dinner. We spent 55 pounds for the two of us and were still hungry. The food was pretty good but quite expensive for what it is.

Estábamos caminando por el mercado de Portobello, pero queríamos sentarnos en algún lugar. Encontré este lugar y fue genial! ¡Caminas hasta la zona del bar y tienen pequeños platos que puedes recoger! Todos listos para irse y lo siguen llenando! Gran ambiente, gran servicio!

Mi compañero y yo descubrimos a Pix mientras caminábamos por la carretera de Portobello. ¡Qué suerte de encontrar! Nos quedamos muy impresionados con todo lo relacionado con nuestro almuerzo; La hermosa decoración, el servicio fantástico y la comida increíble! Esta fue una de las mejores comidas que hemos disfrutado durante nuestra estancia en Londres y lo recomendamos encarecidamente.

Very lively atmosphere with friendly service. Great unusual food combos and good veggie options. My husband and I felt a little old for the place so I would recommend it to younger people - maybe under 35s.

Overall an OK experience. The food was alright but very average, no individual pintos was particularly good. The cocktails were nice but very expensive for what they are and took very look to make and arrive at our table. The ambience was quite cold. Whilst there was nothing bad about the evening there was nothing special either - I would not recommend to a friend.

We stopped in on a Saturday during the street fair thinking we would find good Tappas and a glass of wine. What we did find was essentially tasteless food, and marginal wine. Service is good and helpful the food appears to be wonderful in the displays but once at the table is when the disappointment begins. Make sure you order some wine to kill the otherwise bland food.

Staff was friendly and the decoration is really nice and cosy. The set up of the buffet is really nice too and very attractive I must say. Wine was good too. And they offer glasses of water.

Op die zonnige dag leek het een donker etablissement maar wat ben ik blij dat we binnen gegaan zijn! Direct vriendelijk en aangenaam begroet door het personeel dat ons dadelijk het concept uitlegde. Achteraan iseen klein (zeer klein) terras waar je buiten kan zitten. Eigenlijk is het meer een zeer klein binnenkoertje. We hebben ons maar binnen neergezet omdat er toch nog genoeg licht binnenviel.

I am so disappointed with my experience at pix, the food was just warm, kept under heat lamp. Some of the food looked like it had been under the lamp for quite a while, sauces were dry on top. As one of the other reviewers has said, this lukewarm food even occurred when food appeared from the kitchen. Avoid if you like good food.

I visited the Portobello Road branch for the first time, All I can say is it was best food, the best staff they were so friendly and accommodating I couldn’t fault our visit! I will be returning.

Went there with friends, the location is good the venue so so the food horrible!

As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by friendly staff and the food. The ambience is lovely low lighting and good music. I had the calamari, olives, cod balls and four cheese balls, all delicious and nicely presented. The olives were so nice, my friend and I shared 3! I will definitely go back, it’s great for all occasions.

It’s a great stop amidst your portobello market visit. Nice cold beer, tinto de verano is a must. The food selection is great and portions just right for little pix with a drink. You leave stuffed... the dessert is weak there I’d love it if they would serve churros or more dessert variety. Nice staff , but the place is pricey for portions.

Restaurant was closed with no prior notification despite leave all my details, and was rudely greeted when we were turned away at the door the rain. Travel over an hour for my partners birthday.

Was great good and even better was the music they played. Elvis Costello, madness, human league, sex pistols, Bowie.

Don't eat here! I went to Pix on Bateman Street in London's Soho. There are hundreds of great restaurants in Soho. I suggest that you eat at another place. At Pix, they short-change you and are dishonest.

The food is absolutely delicious & great value. The setting is cool & rustic. The staff are really warm & friendly.

The 'tapas' concept is sadly often prone to abuse: a couple of nibbles can be passed off as a 'sharing plate' for two and then charged like a starter. This place is no stranger to the phenomenon.

Non avrei mai immaginato che un aperitivo costasse quanto una cena.... 80 sterline in 2 .... sono rimasta senza parole per 2 bicchieri di sangria e 6 tapas. Il fatto è che quando ti siedi nel locale ti consegnano solo la lista delle bevande e ti dicono che puoi servirti da solo e prendere ciò che vuoi con l'unica accortezza di riporre un bastoncino (messo su ogni finger food) in un vasetto di vetro così da identificare la quantità di tapas mangiate. Il locale molto carino, atmosfera simpatica e tutto buono ma non aspettatevi i prezzi di un happy hour italiano!!! E' vero che tutto costa di più in Inghilterra ma forse qui hanno esagerato un po'.

Really happy to have decided to go in there whilst enjoying the market. Nice drinks and good selection of pintxos. The battered olives are delicious....we ordered two of them...come with a lovely spicy sauce as well. The Tortilla was a bit bland, but all the others were lovely. Definitely would visit again.

Such a good tapas place in Nothing Hill! I've been invited by friends to come and join them and really pleased I have.Magnificent food with a lot of variety for vegetarian people too. Jamon croquetas are my favourite! They have a great cocktails selection too.

First time I have visited a Tapas Bar outside of Spain and it was a really good experience. Good choice of food nd resonably priced. Best tp though, if you like wine then buy by the bottle as a glass is very expensive compared to...

Ate here pre the ginstitute experience. Tapas options were fab, all tasted lovely and fresh. What I particular enjoyed is that you can help yourself so you can eat at the pace you choose. Service is great too friendly staff and the sangria is yum...large portions too!

Unlimited tapas for £15 in a very quirky restaurant in the Portobello Road. Ok not strictly Spanish but very tasty....

Unfortunately the tapas didn‘t taste spanish. Besides the selection was pretty limited. It was cold and the space was too small.

Whilst waiting to go in for our Gin making experience across the road, stumbled on this super place - their £15 for all you can eat tapas was superb - the hot dishes were regularly topped up and the chorizo stew, calamari and the chicken skewers were the best! Having had Tapas in Spain on many occasions felt this topped the best we'd had there! Highly recommend for lunch!

Found this place on TripAdvisor after searching for a tapas place nearby (Notting Hill). It looked okay so we decided to try it out. It was a Saturday night, and we had no reservation. When we arrived the place was packed (which we assumed was a really good sign). The staff was super friendly, and got us a table as soon as it was available (five minutes wait only). The concept is fantastic, you pick what you want (its a buffet-style) and then you just add up everything at the end (all items have sticks in it, which represent the price). And what a selection of food! We tried almost everything (and they kept coming up with new items so I think we ate for like two hours), and everything was amazing. The food was great, and the staff and atmosphere was even better. A DJ played in the corner and we ended up having a total of five pitchers of Sangria (yes, it was THAT good). I will definitely come back next time I'm in London!

I spent this lunch time at the Pix Notting Hill on the Portobello Road and not being hungry the tiny bites on offer really hit the spot coupled with a full bodied glass of red wine I had the perfect lunch break and went back to work with a spring in my foot. The restaurant though has a lot more to offer if visited at night the basement cocktail bar is arranged as separate confessional box seating up to eight friends. I will definitely go back for an evening as the themed cocktail bar looks like it would be barrels of laughs.

Appreciate I'm bucking the review trend below (though not all wax lyrical on this place) Anyways had my eye on this place for a while as a lunch venue and popped in there today to savour the taps lunch deal for £15.(I went for the food not the price!) Appreciate I arrived circa 14.45 notably after the busy lunch time serving was over BUT the food/ tapas readily available was absolutely terrible! "Hot tapas" selection left sitting on a hot plate for several hours and left go cold and dried out.....just awful! it was almost impossible to distinguish between the tapas on offer though they were clearly labelled.The only decent/ nice tapas was the calamari tapas I had ordered fresh. Otherwise disgusting gooey cold food. Dreadful to see such produce being served in 2017 London. Absolute disgrace to Spanish cooking. Glass of house red wine way over priced at £6.50! Final insult to injury came on paying the bill when the young waiter (with much dis-interest) asked me if "all was ok?" - having almost lost the will to live ( and certainly to eat) and wanting to leave I replied not really - he probed a little so I mentioned the hot tapas were woefully cold - he smiled and confidently explained that "it its not really our busy time so ......." So what indeed I thought!!! He didn't finish and I didn't ask. The mere fact he saw it fit to offer this as some form of justification for such dreadful food summed it all up.......adios go! Never Again!

Pur sapendo bene che i prezzi a Londra sono alti rispetto alla media italiana, mi ritrovo a dover dare un punteggio più basso a questo locale perchè il conto è stato davvero esagerato. 38 sterline per 2 persone: 1 cocktail, 1 bicchiere di vino e due piattini con 5 tapas, il cui prezzo varia in base alla lunghezza dello spiedino con cui sono infilzate. A dire il vero, il gestore è stato estremamente cordiale e gentile, ci ha spiegato come funzionava appena siamo arrivate. Ma le bevande sono davvero costose, e in generale i prezzi sono alti. Mi dispiace perchè le portate erano davvero particolari ed il locale molto carino, ma dovrebbero un pò rivedere la loro politica dei prezzi.

Super endroit où l'on retrouve la vie d'un bar à tapas. L'équipe est accueillante et souriante. On va se servir au comptoir et on paie au Pique. Les tapas sont de très bonne qualité. Le rapport qualité prix est correct pour la situation.

En plein quartier très animé ,ce lieu, hyper sympa est un mélange de bar , bar à tapas pour manger sur le pouce et prendre de très très bons cocktails !! Tapas à la pièce , super frais et très goûteux ! Aussi bons qu ´ en Catalogne ! Serveurs très sympas . Bonne ambiance avec des offres suivant le soir de la semaine et cocktails à thème . Petit ' club ' en sous sol. Petit patio au fond de la jolie salle décorée de manière originale ! On adore !

We had a great time at Pix on Friday night, the staff were so attentive & the food & cocktails were delicious. We all left in a very good mood!

The food is very nice, no doubt about that, but by tapas they really mean a mouthful so to fill yourself up you need to get 7+ of them and it all adds up in the end.Staff are friendly and chilled and the ambient is nice and trendy.

The place is elongated and cosy, I would recommend this if you are in portobello market and want somewhere to sit quietly for a while till you regain your strength. The concept is pick anything you like which are displayed on tiny plates with wooden sticks on them like cocktail stirrers and this is how they determine your bill. Don't skip the chili margarita or sangria here!

Fantastic welcoming staff made it a really good night perfect for friends visiting from out of town. Lots of tasty choices especially the Spanish doughnuts 'Churros' (?) Delicious !

Went in for the Cava and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the tapas. Make sure to fill up on the tapas as soon as they come out of the kitchen rather than the ones that have been hanging around for awhile. Great tapas and cava and value!

Sorry but I did not rate this place. I liked the concept but it was just not executed well. I thought there was limited variety with tapas, a lot of bread and just looked stale and most was tasteless. Sorry, I could not recommend this place as I think it is not a fair representation of Spanish tapas.
