Worst place to eat! I’m Spanish and I was expecting to have some nice Spanish food and made the mistake to go Casa Manolo. I got the octopus (Pulpo a la Gallega) and the Spanish omelette (Tortilla de patata). The octopus was far from fresh and it was more like something we call “pota” from a tin. Which is something that attempts to be octopus but isn’t. Instead of the traditional boiled potatos for this dish, we received some mash that seemed made from powder of dehydrated potatoes. Now with the tortilla: it seemed more like a french omelette than a Spanish one with the little potatoes and great egg ratio it had. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I wanted to try this place as I love aged ham but because I can get the aged ham down the street from my place, I decided to order the paella. The paella was okay. Actually my heart sunk because I know what a real paella is like. This one had more rice than seafood. They actually count the pieces of seafood. Although I know many places do this, the size of the shrimp and the clams and two lost mussels that I found, and some octopus, was super small. It left a lot to desire. The amount of seafood was pitiful. It was more like a rice dish than a real paella and it wasn't crunchy in the bottom. They should consider removing the dish from the menu. If you are going to serve something like this, you might as well not serve it. I don't like to be taken. I am giving them three stars because the owners were very nice. I am sure they have other dishes that are great but I would not come back to order paella. However, it seems that since Covid a lot of places are serving smaller portions and charging more and we see this even at the grocery store, you pay more for a bag of chips or anything else and you get less. I guess maybe everyone is trying to recuperate their for what they lost in revenue during Covid. I will come back to try their ham, however whixh looks delicious. They have aged ham sandwiches, which I love.

Great and simple food for iberian ham lovers

Food was delicious. Recommend the flavourful, patatas fritas and goats cheese spinach croquettes. Also sangria is the best I have had, not too strong tasting and very fruity. I would say service was good however they sometimes seemed a bit unhappy to be there and angry at each other with how they spoke. I would suggest taking down all the pigs legs strung across the restaurant and in the front everywhere as it personally made me sick before eating.

We are visiting London and after so many hamburgers we fancied something Spanish and boy were we right. Spectacular ham and their meatballs are well worth it. The place is very nice and we were served by a very nice Spanish guy.

We were looking for some food that wasn't fast and we were very surprised by the restaurant. The ham with tumaca bread was delicious and their waiter Javi was super friendly. 100% recommended

Loved it. Had an assortment of tapas (anchovies, machega cheese with rosemary, jamon, padron peppers, tomatoes and bread, etc). Lovely red wine. My husband and I both thought it was reasonably priced - because it was super quality. Great tables of Spanish folks there too. Ooo and had food gras too - decadent but soooo good. Bistro-y and super small but perfect for us. We will return.

AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU HAVE A MORAL COMPASS. I am a customer with a disability and a licensed service dog. Despite the law, specifically, "The Equality Act 2010" which prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities and requires service providers to make reasonable adjustments to ensure equal access, the very rude manager or bartender refused to allow me to dine with my service dog who helps me with my daily life. I highlighted that it's against the law, and how they can do this to customers who are deaf or blind, to which the staff said "I've never been either, so I wouldn't know". Digusting to experience in 2024 and the neighbourhood should know they are a discriminatory establishment. AVOID!

We were sat at the bar, although there were tables available which was a shame. The place is very small and I can imagine on one of the tables it’s very cozy but at the bar it’s not ideal to eat. The patatas bravas were delicious but the ox tail stew was small and extremely fatty. Hardly any proper meat and although the juice was nice, there wasn’t enough of it and so we were still hungry. The baguette was delicious however. Soft bread and delicious jamon. It did cost us £53 for 2 small and over fatty ox tail stews, 1 patatas, 2 cokes and a baguette to share however which seemed steep. Waiter who served us was very nice however.

Service was slow, had to ask 3 times for a glass of water, was told some of the sit down tables were reserved but no one arrived in our 90 mins there, expensive, atmosphere flat as a pancake!

The sangria and all those hams and cheese. It’s all very flavourful and customer service is top class. Thank you!

Lovely Spanish tapas restaurant in Chelsea. Everything from the sangria to the tripe was a cultural experience. They have their own meats and cheeses to try as well. The restaurant is small but extremely clean and a vibe.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Casa Manolo, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The warm and inviting ambiance immediately transported me to Spain. The dim lighting and rustic decor created the perfect setting for an intimate meal.

Best ham ever!! Strongly recommended

We were starving on the kings road and needed wine and prosciutto. This hit the spot. The potato’s were delicious and the meat selection was so unique.

Horrible rude service. Overcooked croquetas. Expensive jamon. We felt really uncomfortable. We went in near closing time. Another customer was told that he had to sit at the bar as they were closing. It was 9:10pm. They closed at 10pm. It should be a friendly relaxing Spanish restaurant. The staff were lazy and obnoxious.

La mejor paella que me he comido en mi vida, bien hecha y deliciosa. Todo estaba buenísimo, desde los huevos con jamón, la paella con chorizo y la de marisco, la tabla de queso y jamón ibérico🤤, todo estaba delicioso. Mis amigos y yo quedamos encantados, si volvemos a Londres almorzaremos aquí sin duda alguna. Mi enhorabuena al personal porque nos trataron de 10, graciasss

Rude staff, bought something already prepared and found the cheese to be full of dust and went in to let them know. Staff said he couldn’t see it and unhappily gave me another one which was also dusty by the way. Avoid

The wine was free poured into my glass and I was delivered toast with a tomato salsa and eventually a nicely presented plate of cut meat. I asked for a second glass of wine. My glass was oily and used yet still he freepoured the wine into it and less I felt than before. When I came to pay the young man tried to overcharge me by ten pounds without showing me a bill and when I challenged the figure he reduced the bill to about 57 pounds. I am unhappy with several things 1 I didn’t get a sandwich but did get toast and jamon 2 I didn’t get a clean glass 3 I didn’t get a proper measure of wine, either time 4 he tried to overcharge me 5 57 pounds 6 they didn’t care. I have written to them and received a stock reply so have decided to publish my concerns

Muy buen Jamón para no estar en España, la.ensaladilla es muy recomendable, al queso manchego le falta curación y las olivas mejor no pedirlas pero realmente es muy recomendable si estás en Chelsea . El servicio es super correcto y amabilísimo. No dejes de pasar pero reserva el local no es muy grande, también puedes coger bocatas para llevar.

The good weather left us today and it is a slightly drizzly day. So nice to pull in to Casa Manolo, Chelsea & have a Spanish Bocadillos with the lot & washed down with a glass of sangria! 😊 Thanks, David and Maria

I saw a baguette in the window, which looked delicious (probably Iberico ham). Entering the shop to have a look, I was greeted by someone with a heavy accent. I requested a baguette for lunch, and he asked, "A sandwich with cheese and ham?" and I, presuming it was the one in the window, said yes. I then discovered the menu had various filling options - but he'd pushily made me get the most expensive sandwich on the menu by asking me a sneaky question; neither had he shown me the menu so I could choose from it. I don't like sneaky sales behaviour, and I'm not made of money (though he probably thought I was because I was dressed smartly). Bit annoyed. But it was delicious.

Reasonable priced cappuccino takeaway and dine in.

This is essentially a tiny restaurant attached to a small Deli. Unfortunately they did not have the two mains on the menu that we wanted so we had to make do with what they did have. The Sangria was very gluggable. The fried Chorizo was generous and delicious. Though expensive, the Belotta ham was amazing and easily the best we have ever had ( and we have had hundreds). Unfortunately the place was uncomfortably smaller than we are used to.

Expensive and tasteless meatballs, paella was ok

I have ordered on deliveroo. I am very disappointed, £36 for chorizo paella and 4 croquetas very lighty portioned! The croquetas are small in size, £11 for those, feels like scam. The chorizo paella has no seafood such as squid, neither chicken, there is no list of ingredients in their menu so I could not see this. There is only one picture that suggests there is some seafood, but nope. It feels very bitter, and the taste of the food is not that great. Do not order there on deliveroo, this feels like daylight robbery more than anything. Somebody reviewed the paella as "rice with gravy", I can say that yes this is tasting like rice with dark gravy, a very cheap gravy.

Always thought about coming in this place to eat as had only bought takeaways in past and seemed so few tables! But I was pleasantly surprised with quality and quantity of paella and delicious ice cream dessert! I didn't feel left out although most people were Spanish and there were only 5 tables!

Definitely a great place to get ham

Very good place. I recommend the bellota ham as a sandwich or on a plate. It is delicious. The only point that I would like to make is that if you stay to long in the restaurant them the clothes smells like grease.

Had a sandwich, a glass of wine and an espresso, the coffee was lukewarm, not very nice, also ask for a glass of beer, was told that the pump wasn't working. Will not go back in a hurry!

Very quiet as late lunchtime. Excellent iberico ham, melted in the mouth. Tasty anchovies too. Very pleasant staff.

Hello! Just decided to give them a chance but when I come in a server was turned me away fast because of their boss who told don’t let me in anymore after my bad review before. It is such annoying especially after so long time coming back Buy buy guys, hopefully you will improve your customer service and attitude some day.

Vivimos en UK pero lejos de Londres. Un día de visita en Londres vimos la tienda y decidimos comprar unos torreznos adobados, del escaparate (muy caros, pero teníamos morriña). Al llegar a casa los abrimos y estaban incomestibles, totalmente rancios! Obviamente no podíamos volver a Londres solo para devolverlos, así que esperamos a volver en otro momento para comentarlo en la tienda. Cuando volvimos unos meses después para comentar el problema, sólo nos dijeron que nunca les había pasado, que lo sentían y nada más. Casi £6 tiradas a la basura, seguramente por tener los botes en el escaparate a pleno sol. No volvimos a reclamar nada específicamente, pero no esperéis ningún tipo de servicio al cliente si algún producto está defectuoso y no podéis volver a devolverlo en poco tiempo (lo cual puede ser común en productos perecederos). Si no les había pasado nunca podían haber asumido el problema.

Very disappointed after 6 years going there in regular basis and enjoying Casa Manolo one bad employee called Hose Antonio made it horrible ! Never mind he's never friendly but playing loud rock music lunch time and saying 'thats the way it is' he's sarcastic behaviour and rudeness is killing that place. I would give Casa Manolo concept five stars but disappointing one bad employee at Kings Rd brunch.

Hello. This place does not treats their permanent customers. I went for some drinks last busy Saturday and was pushed out from my table twice time until I asked for the bill because some more people coming and coming and there was no more space or because I were just alone or because I were for that time just for drinks? That evening was such a big shame even if I were their permanent customer. The server told they were followed to instructions by their boss who is never even come in. So guys or probably their boss don’t really know what is excellent customer service means.

I came to them this Saturday. They were not busy first but later on start to be. The server twice time tries to push me away because it was a large queue from my table for reason I don’t know even if I were their permanent customer for long time. Finally I were asked for the bill. It was very annoying and frustrated evening since long time. And honestly guys, nowhere in any different ways no one show such dreadful behaviour to me like it was last night. Very disappointed.

Got a parmahan and cheese cone. I was embarrassed to see 3 Parma ham cubes in the full cone. Cost 6.5 Shocking!! Together with 1/2 beer £4 Over all, excessive price, not value for money and day robbery in my book

A great place for a little something! Nothing better than some real jamon. Would definitely recommend although the wine portions could be a bit more generous.

Un pequeño rincón español en Londres donde degustar productos de calidad y alejarse de la dieta inglesa y recordar por momentos nuestras tascas y bares. Pidas lo q pidas te gustará: huevos con jamón, carrillada , croquetas...con una deliciosa copa de vino o estrella Galicia. Es pequeño el lugar, lo que lo hace más acogedor y familiar. Muy recomendable.

Deseando pillar algo español después de tanto comer rápido y mal...encontramos este pequeño local en el barrio de Chelsea..un acierto.. la carta no es muy extensa...pero estaba todo muy rico

casa Manolo, is a small cafe with Spanish products, like jamon iberico,and chorizo,we had been few times there, when we go to Kings Road, this last time we are surprised and not happy for the increase of prices, every thing is at £8, same like the star bocadillo, " sandwich of Iberico jamon, we ordered a plate of pimientos de Padron, a mini pimientos,that are famous, of origin denomination, are the same price of jamon iberico, we try Spanish omelette and was £8 also, a little omelette for two, the omelette was nothing exceptional, less for the price of £ 8. for drinks some beers, we bought some pakets of iberico jamon and chorizo to take away, the start products there is the quality of the iberico jamon, and chorizo iberico. If we go there some another time ,we will buy only take away jamon, not to sit there because of the highest prices, for the food ,that isn't, the real tapas quality like from Spain. I'm Spanish,and I can appreciate the good Spanish tapas, jamon Iberico at casa Manolo, is good, but expensive too, for the quantity you get. This last time, we are disappointed for the prices,and we aren't sure if we will go back again.

Too expensive. I paid 9£ for a sandwich with ham. Just crazy. The quality of the bread was poor, awful customer service. The environment looks old fashion and shabby.

reminded me of a place I visited in Spain, interior quite low key and you can purchase groceries like jamon and cheese in the shop. ordered one toast and one paella was the right amount for two people. food and service was okay.

My partner and I had a Sunday out and visited the newly opened Battersea Power Station, but there were too many people in every restaurant in the surrounding area. We decided to walk a bit further towards Chelsea to look for a better place. We walked along Kings Road and passed by this little bar restaurant and decided to give a try We recently just visited Barcelona and are still craving for Spanish tapas. We tried a few dishes and really enjoyed the cosy atmosphere and the flavours of the food. I particularly like the pig trotters in the sauce... The flavours and texture were fantastic!! The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the guy behind the bar was polite, but it didn't seem exactly as enthusiastic to make us feel warm, even though we tried to talk to him and tell him we had just been in Barcelona, but he seems cannot be bothered to know more or make an effort to ask more questions... (Even I straight ask if they accept reservations for my return visit with other friends the following week, he seems not really care or warm welcome us back)...

A friend suggested why give this place a try - a Spanish tapas restaurant. Food was very good especially the jambon baguette sandwiches (with olive oil) and oxtail. The flavour was excellent. My only criticism is that the place is somewhat out of my normal travels, but I would make a special trip when in the mood.

Great duck confit, toast w sardine, toast w cheese & honey, house red, tomato bread, Alfonso Oloroso sherry etc The main feature (Jamon) are surprisingly similar, so just take the cheapest 😄 you won't get the amazing ones one knows from Spain. Friendly, quick service

It was my birthday and did not feel like going out. We decided to stay at home and order Spanish food from Casa Manolo. The Cinco Jotas Jamon was perfect and so was the chatuteria. We ordered 3 paellas and this was horrible frozen and tasteless. The three portions of Jamon did not come with any bread and tomaka. I was embarrassed cause I live in Spain and wanted to treat my guests to real Spanish food. I was really disappointed. Will never go there nor order from there.

La comida deliciosa, buena atención, buenos vinos

Food is not great. We tried many different things: tortilla de patata, rabo de toro, duck, pulpo a la gallega, patatas bravas. None of them were particulary good. If you love and tried good Spanish food, you will know this is not a great place for it. The board of manchego was small and pricey. Everything is pricey plus the service charge at the end. We paid £160 (4 people) for low quality food. I wouldn't come back.

Después de 3 días por Londres, mal comiendo como todo/as sabemos (que es lo q pasa) necesitamos darnos un merecido homenaje de buena comida y Casa Manolo fue la elección. Un acierto en todos los sentidos, la mejor manera de describirlo es como un bar español de más calidad que la media en la misma España!!! Todo buenísimo , cantidades abundantes y precios comparados con lo que hay por Londres más q ajustados!!! Gracias casa Manolo por darnos de comer fuera de casa!!!

Superb place, lovely interior and staff as well as consistently delicious food. We love the bocadios. I always bring my mother here when she visits and wishes to have a delicious taste of home! Muy buenos bocadios lo mismo que en espana!

Tasty ham! I came across the nice shop while I took a walk. I bought small ham & cheese cup for take away. It is really good! I’d like to try other menu in restaurant space next time.

Came in on my own for a little bite - only to feel a little like I’m some guy at the back that doesn’t deserve to be there too… a couple opposite to me were treated better and attention was considered for them.. me on the other hand got told when I wanted to move to a table from a bar that if more people came I would be moved and when food arrived not even one check back and that’s required right? Whereas the table opposite got numerous check backs and plates cleared and I just feel as coming in solo I wasn’t welcomed until I left when I said thank you . Your an establishment on kings road and from time to time you will have people who wish they were there on the regular- abit of extra attentiveness wouldn’t go unnoticed

I really would like to put Zero stars. Waited more than 30 mins for the starters and drinks, waiter very unprofessional literally running up and down the stairs. Ordered bravas and they came with a spicy ketchup sauce (THE ORIGINAL RECIPE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE KETCHUP). I asked the waiter for the ingredients of the sauce and he didn't even know so asked to call the chef, he asked what was the problem and I say that the sauce was ketchup......the waiter's answer was "that's what we have" 😳 So embarrassing to try that Spanish food and think how many people is paying that money for a really bad quality and not original Spanish recipes. Oh! Forgot to mention the amazing FROZEN PAELLA..... 🙄🙄🙄 Really poor quality, overpriced and bad customer service

Fake Review for this place. It can’t be more than 1 star ! Service slow, after 45 mins we had the starters, price over the limits, 35£ for 4 slice of salami, 4 of ham, 4 of spicy salami, 4 of lonza, not even a slice of bread. Patatas Bravas with not bravas sauce but with ketchup 10£ Plus 12.5% service … also ? 90£ in two persons for one of the worst dinner in London !
