Tempo Tea Bar in Glasgow City

This place has great boba with soo many options with lots of cool unique ones with glitter and they advertise it to be a healthier option for those who are wanting the taste without all the sugar. They also have such friendly staff as when I went with my sister they even gave us a free extra scoop of tapioca pearls as it was close to closing time.

If they put as much effort into their drinks than they did into the desperate, rude tik toks i'm sure they would taste a lot better. Made us all feel like we were in the way. The price is ridiculous and far too sweet and sickly, not one of us drank it. So many original and great quality bubble tea shops in the area, we will continue our bubble tea love elsewhere :)

Terrible experience at Tempo Tea Bar. The bubble tea was disgustingly sweet and artificial. Tapioca pearls were hard and mushy—gross! Staff were too busy on their phones, rude and refused to cooperate or change my drink. The place was dirty with sticky tables and spills on the floor which I thought was unacceptable considering how overpriced the drinks are! Never coming back and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Best bubble tea in Glasgow. Staff are lovely and give great recommendations when you can’t decide. Products are always high quality and they always have great new flavour combos!

This used to be my favorite bubble tea bar,but I don't know what happened these weeks bcs the tapioca was disgusting,and I didn't drink it unfortunately because was terrible....Wasn't just the tapioca but the tea was very bad...without any flavor was like cold water

This place used to be my favourite bubble tea spot and I was basically addicted! However, the new cups are a lot smaller than what they used to be and they always mess up the sweetness and temperature of my drink. Its always basically too warm. I miss the old cups, please bring them back! The place has a weird smell honestly of like weed or something. It used to be much better value with the old cups but now I would rather get bubble tea from elsewhere.

Sadly I visited here precovid (back in the good old days). The people in the shop were so lovely and had such a good rapport with each other and costumers. I loved their galaxy bubble tea and the taste of it was to die for. My only slightly complaint is I wished they had a bigger store to fit more people and a larger range of products in. Otherwise I can't wait to go back

We visited today to have a nice drink as the warmer weather. The drinks were nice and fairly priced but the decor has changed recently and it seems to have lost its quirky touch, not sure if these changes are due to the pandemic. The staff are very friendly.

Unfortunately they don't sell bubble tea as they claim. The taste is water ish and if you do not know what kind of flavour it is - you can not guess it by taste. Very disappointed!

I've been meaning to drop in and try a vegan Bao Bao for ages and I finally got to try one on Saturday. I was not disappointed. I tried the limited edition bun. It was so delicious! It was very filling. The staff were lovely too!

Quirky. Consistent and friendly. I always bring visitors here and they love it. My favourite is the warm milk tea on a chilly day.

Bubble Tea was rather new back in the day - been how many years since Tempo has been open? several years maybe? - it was something new, different and no one had really any idea what Bubble Tea was, it was odd and yet interesting. Tempo Tea in Glasgow is a small place, yet it does have a sitting area, if you go at the right time it might be free, but it's not separate from the area that people are ordering, so keep that in mind when you visit. The amount of drinks that they make is a lot. I usually know which drink I want to go for - Lychee milk tea - yet I usually get the staff to advised what boba to add to it - it's usually apple or one time I think it was blackcurrent - trust that the staff know what they are talking about if you need advise on any of the drinks, and if you have a diary problem, ask them for advice, chances are there will be an alternative for you that they can make. They also have glass bottles that if you buy it, your tea can go into it and you get a discount - 50p I think - off your drink, as well as reusable straws that are just awesome. It's definitely one to go to if you want to try something a bit different and now, or even if you are already a fan of Bubble Tea and want to try a different company make it.

I never expected to find a place which serves so good bubble tea in Scotland. Truly magical, with good cup size, perfect to carry around while exploring the city.

After an epic shopping trip we needed refreshment and thankfully found Temple Tea. We have Rainbobas which were excellent and large and refreshing. 10% when you check in on Facebook, lots of cool bits and pieces available to buy and great selection of fruit and milky teas. Super happy helpful staff too.
