Tazmi Balti House in Liverpool

I tied to order from this place , but the guy who answered the phone is rude and not professional put the phone down on me. For the business you need to have a good customer service. I would recommend take the guy who does answer the phone out ,he is not good in customer service

I have been coming here for at least 20 years. Always consistent, you always know what you are getting which is delicious Indian food. I have tried many Indian restaurants and takeaways and this is for me one the best regardless. Unfortunately the service is absolutely appalling. From being short changed to treated disrespectfully too many times.

I m Bangladeshi try to order some food . One non sylhet guy answere the phone . I sayd can I order delivery he just says no Tnk u and cut the line . Rubbish service

Another meal ordered.got home wrong meal .had to go back .why dose this happen.your spoiling this .so if i got the wrong meal .who got my meal .not a good standard from tazmi .

My experience was awesome…Tazmi special is the best one..I would recommend to try it…Chicken korma and prawn bhuna is just top notch ✌️✌️

Front of house tried to short change over a £5 again, its not the 1st time he has done this, always check your change. Such a shame as we love food, but he needs sacking or not allowed to handle money.

Used this place over the years, but its went downhill. Orders have been wrong. A one off is unfortunate, but its happened a few times in a row. Avoid.

I have been coming here for around 7 years but not any more, standards keep dropping over time, the last 4-5 time’s I’ve felt so sick the day later the food is no longer fresh anymore you can just tell. The worst thing about this place is the guy on the desk, he forgets things of your order, and when I rang to tell him he was screening down the phone at me. He’s very angry and aggressive. And around 5-6 people I no who use the restaurant have had similar encounters with him. This hasn’t been a one of occasion he’s really just not a nice person.

The place has gone down the nick. Used to be the best Indian by far. Had too many bland and messed up orders of late. I won't be going back.

I ordered a Lamb dish and the Lamb was really fatty and tough,the sauce was really good but the Lamb put me off.

Honestly the worst curry I’ve ever had in my 29 year life. And I’ve had a few. You get more flavour from licking the floor. So bland. The coconut rice was not coconut rice. The worst chicken tikka masala I’ve ever had. Zero flavour. And the garlic naan bread was actually disrespectful to call it garlic naan. Horrible couldn’t even eat half of it. Also the English is extremely poor had to correct them multiple times and then when I got there failed to tell me on the phone that is cash only. Stay away

Fantastic curry place. Amazing food. Loved the curry. Naan is tasty, chicken is good quality and for a good price. Some people complain of the staff taking the order but I have had 0 issues.

It was an amazing experience with Tazmi. Especially the tanduri was so tender and mouthwatering. Moreover, the taste was thousand time better with the mint sauce. Best wishes for Tazmi team💙

Nothing special. Wonder what the reviews are raving about, its just your average Indian takeaway in Liverpool, which, like most is lacking the flavor and quality you get if you go to a restaurant in the city center to eat, or if you go to a Indian takeaway in Manchester or Bradford for example. Bhajis were burnt and chewy, some were very dark (black) Chicken curry just tasted really bland and disappointing. Like a bit of oil and chilli powder. Biriyani tasted like salt and biryani seasoning. Not pleasant. The sauce that came with it too was very bland and tasted smoky? Only decent thing was the garlic Nan bread. Rest went straight in the bin. Your better traveling and going to somewhere like Bold street in town for example.

Absolutely awful food. Not one thing that was ordered was nice, even the chips were disgusting. Can't understand all the reviews above 1 star, there are other Indian takeaways that are 100% better than this place but if you want food that tastes and looks like utter s***e this the place to go!

Fantastic food...just wish someone smiles

Live just across the road so thought brilliant, can have a glass of wine then walk 2 minutes and collect food..... Would rather walk 30 minutes for something at least tasty, even go without glass of wine and drive. Shame, actually smells lovely living so close but food is more miss than hit. Going to a proper restaurant puts this place to shame, never again!!

Went to the Tazmi last night ordered the tandoori chicken half for us all, it was so lovely the best I’ve had as it always has been best Indian little gem thanks again for the food

The worst meal I’ve ever had! I’m quite shocked by all the good reviews. Every dish was disappointing! Even the chutney tray- the onion salad was basically chopped up raw onion, no seasoning. The onion Bahji’s were sloppy and greasy. The lamb Bhuna, had very poor quality meat. Our order came to £29.55, so not cheap either- just really disappointing!!

This used to be a great place but after ordering a lamb naga and chicken tikka masala yesterday the lamb piece where about 1 centimetre long virtually microscopic!! And the masala had half a bag of silverspoon in it. Wont be going here again I would rather they put the price up than scrimp on the lamb.

Poppadoms tasted like dirty chip oil. Sheek kebab was that spicy I'd have felt better eating a ghost chilli and the lamb chops tasted like they had been in the microwave for about 10 years like bullets. Whole lot went in the bin. Ordered here after people recommended it. Highly disappointed

We’ve been eating beautiful food from Tazmi since 1998, wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. Brilliant staff, great premises and the curries are fantastic!

By far the best Indian food I have tasted, out of over 16 or 17 restaurants/take aways I have tried in Liverpool. Every dish is full of flavour and rich in texture, with generous amounts of your chosen main ingredient . Superb!!!

Used to be a great take away recently gone awful wrong orders when we get home with the food, the most recent was ordering over the phone only to be told on arrival to pick up the order that one of the dishes was not available? Very bad service!! Won’t be going here again.

Been going there since it opened in 1994. We are all addicted. The food is beautiful. And the staff are lovely. Would highly recommend.

Ordered chicken kebab , instead when got home realize that got fried on the wok, wet chicken covered in mashed onions ( all in whitish green colour ) Rang your takeaway place and got told that’s the way you do chicken kebab :) Problem is , no one , I mean absolutely no one would call that green mash a kebab. Why don’t you start selling chips as prawns and tell people “ this is the way we do prawns “ Horrible experience. Never again

Great food, great price, lovely staff

Fantastic food. At a party and there werr 14 orders. All arrived on time, hot and tasted fantastic. Brilliant take-away, highly recommend either the chicken Chaat or the Madras.
