Service can be slow, but the way food is served is great, just beware for the discretionary service tax that's applied, you'll only see that if you ask for a receipt - no so discretionary but compulsory!!!

Came in today with my children and family. We was visiting Eastbourne for the day. We had trouble finding a suitable venue as I had a fussy eater who has anxieties about eating in public. Gentleman who greeted us was very accommodating and said he could adjust the menu if needed. We was taken to a lovely cosy corner,ordered our drinks and chose our food. Food was exceptional and even though my fussy eater couldn't eat hers there, she did take it away with her and ate it later when she felt comfortable. The added extra was our food brought to us by a robot!The gentleman even tried to cheer my daughter up by getting the robot to sing her happy birthday( she did love that). Was a lovely experience and if I was local would definitely visit again.many thanks

Great food, service and atmosphere!

We didn't try any of the food but came for 2 rounds of cocktails. I have to say that the raspberry mojito and Pina colada were some of the best I've ever had. My husband ordered 2 old fashioneds because they were so good. Would 100% come here again

Have to say yet another fantastic place to eat out , what a great idea to bring back the combination of having something to eat and watch a game 🍻 even a lot of pubs don't do this anymore . I just had a look at a couple of other reviews & I have to say I agree with the other five star ratings especially for things like quality of food & service it was absolutely brilliant and we will definitely go back again to relive the experience once more . Please give this fabulous place a try it's awesome 😁

We have eaten here twice, and both times we had great service, and the food that was served not only looked great but tasted amazing, and the atmosphere was wonderful.

Lively atmosphere and a great choice of sports on televisions. Really good staff - cheerful and welcoming, and very efficient. Really good food too, and drinks were reasonably priced. Altogether a good evening, as usual!

I had lunch today with a friend. Food was great and service was great. We have used this location before it was Taylors. We will use it again as it is a great location for using bus or taxi to get there. I am sorry I did not remember the servers name but he was Scottish and made our lunch a hilarious and professional experience. Thank you Seaford man.

Brilliant music! Staff was very friendly and a special thank you to the lovely lady with long dark hair she made sure everyone was served and happy. Cool DJ too, everyone was dancing!

Despite being quiet evening, the staff all where amazing, super friendly and a positive enjoyment on the place. The food quick and efficient, service was second to none and all where super friendly even stopping to talk to me. Amazing place, am definitely going to go back again and again. If you are looking for somewhere to watch a game or have a quick drink, this is the place.

Stopped here during Christmas shopping. Though not quite open, the management sorted out 2 full English breakfasts for us. The food was great. Well done

Always visit here when in Eastbourne for cocktails, they have 2 for a set price on basic and premium cocktails. The people who work here are always friendly and this time as with every time, we had a good laugh with them. I would recommend a visit, they do food and have a robot! They will soon be moving premises so keep and eye out for information. Thank you!

Took eternity for burger to arrive which was the most disappointing and bland I’ve ever had. Chips tasted like they had just been sitting around and then heated up. No wine on the menu. Nice to have the golf to watch and interesting delivery of food by some sort of cat robot. Service was random and not that good probably because service added to bill so no choice in that respect. Won’t be returning .

Excellent restaurant and bar , especially pre cinema. We had 4 hot meals with good service. Clean and friendly.

We needed a quick bite before the cinema and were greeted by Mark as soon as we arrived. He was so friendly, helpful and said "of course"; showed us to a table and bought the menus. Ordering was quick, service excellent - via Jaysie and their Robot (yes, it's true: a Robot - such fun!). The food was really well presented and very tasty. Nothing was too much trouble and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant. Shall go there every time I go to the cinema! Thank you! :-)

6pm can’t get a calzone pizza which we were only told after order taken they came back and said no calzone this was a birthday treat and was very disappointing when it arrived the chips were tepid too Overall too expensive for a burger and fries that could have come from mcdonalds

Went today on a lunch date with my partner, the staff were very friendly and helpful. They weren’t overbearing and was the right amount of present for us. The robot was really cool. Place w as very clean and food was fantastic, price was fair as well. Mozzarella sticks were another level so was milkybar milkshake. We will 100% be back. Thank you.

Excellent. Both staff that were on tonight went above and beyond for our daughters birthday. She had a great time and the food was great. Good menu and great drink selection along with sport on all tvs and great staff. Support local businesses like this. Far better service then any chain would give you.

Great range of sports on the teles. Staff were lovely. Nice draught selection and the robot delivering the food is fabulous.

Service was slow, drinks seemed to take forever to arrive despite it being quiet. Food was hot and an interesting delivery system, however discretionary service charge added to bill was not discretionary as staff rang up the full amount including the discretionary service charge. Think this is a little cheeky to add that to the bill and only noticed it after we had paid when we were given the bill at over 9% its a bit much when service was slow and staff do not even have to carry plates to the table as quirky machine takes it to the table.

Good meal , not too good service , completely understand it was early evening and hardly any staff on but we waited quite a while for drinks . we noticed a table that came in after us got their drinks so realised we must have been forgotten . No apologies though and we finally got our drinks just before our food arrived . Food was good though as always .

First visit to this hidden gem, it's on the first floor so it's easy to miss. The welcome and the service was great. The food is amazing and. Rough out by a robot which is very cute. Spotlessly clean and nothing was too much trouble.

Sadly I went into Taylor’s “sports” bar at the weekend. To be welcomed if you want to call it that by a rude and unhelpful member of staff! Following up from that the food took over 2 hours to come out which was tasteless and undercooked. Finally the service was very slow and un helpful. I would never recommend this to anyone. Stay well clear!

Went to Taylor’s today to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday , l had booked and they put up decorations , the food and service here is always so good , nothing to much trouble , no pressure to vacate table . Thanks to everyone who made the lunch special for her .

I went one evening to watch my favorite team play and, when I asked them if they could put it on TV, even if it was a team from a foreign league, they didn't hesitate. Very very nice and friendly staff and equally pleasant environment.

Ordered a cheese and bacon ciabatta 2 strips of bacon and cheese was on one half of the cut ciabatta. Kids macaroni was penne with white sauce, watery pasta and no cheese taste. It was a small menu so would expect better food. First and last visit

Whilst the look of the place seems decent there was nothing that was of highlight to us. The staff were friendly but rather slow to get food and drinks out. Food is sports bar food so it wasn't very good... In fact I had stomache ache the next day which I believe it was from this place.

Absolutely love our visits to Taylor’s. We go as a couple , with friends or family and have never been disappointed. The steak is always cooked to perfection. The staff are all now like friends . The best place to eat lunch or evening meal . Thanks guys and keep up the good work .

First visit and was pleasantly surprised! Added bonus for the kids was having the Robot deliver their food. Food was great and there was a variety of choices. Despite being very busy the service was quick and efficient. The waiter could see the kids really wanted it to be their turn so the Robot would come out, so he came over and told them we would be next which was really nice!

Been a few times, relaxing atmosphere, good food and drinks all reasonably priced. Bellabot robot is quite a novelty and talking point. Worth a visit.

First visit booked a table for Spurs v Chelsea game. Nice restaurant with air conditioning, plenty of tv screens and great food, brought out by a robot. Only marked down as a drinks order went missing and had to re order, but would definitely go back again and recommend.

Great service from the moment we walked in, all staff very welcoming and attentive, the bar is very nice and cozy. Food and drinks great value for money. After we left realized we had left a shopping bag behind.. we came back hoping it was still there and they had it and remembered it was us, thank you again! Highly recommend the place!

Lovely cheese garlic bread , very nice chicken burger with chips and coleslaw. The staff and the owner are wonderful and very friendly to cheer my birthday . Thank you for the evening as my friends enjoyed it too.

Lunch for four yesterday which included two children ages 4 and 2. Had the best experience. All the staff were attentive and were great with the children. Made the girls day when the robot brought the lunch to the table. The food was lovely. Nicely cooked and well presented. Will definitely go again. Highly recommended!!

My partner and I were really looking forward to eating at Taylor's Restaurant and Sports Bar, it was on the bank holiday Monday and by the sounds of it, they were short staffed meaning that a few mistakes were made with our order and it took around 30 minutes for someone to take our order. It was around three hours in total for just two courses. I had to wait 20 minutes when my starter arrived as my partner's starter wasn't even prepared.

Always really happy with the food and service here - I'm not interested in sports but we get the 20% discount for having a Cineworld card (only on normal menu and doesn't cover any specials or deals) so have been a few times. Can be a bit loud and busy when the sports is on but you can't expect anything less. Would highly recommend!

Yes it very nice the food was fantastic and a nice coffee . The only thing was a little bit noisy there is football on I understand people want to watch it that's cheering and clapping but other than that it was good recommend it the staff are very go to help out yes I had highly recommend the food staff and the food

Found on the first floor of the Arndale extension (The Beacon) is a collection of restaurants, one of them being Taylor's Sports Bar & Restaurant. Good range of food and drinks at reasonable prices. Nicely decorated.

Have been here a few times when I am in Eastbourne. Food is always good. Nice bar and restaurant.

I finished my film and wanted something to eat and they had tables free so decided to eat, very friendly staff and helpful. Great atmosphere and great for watching a game and a beer, also great for family to eat and enjoy time together in the current situation with covid 19 I felt safe and looked after and they have a great place to come to. I had chicken burger, garlic bread and a SanMiguel larger and loved every minute there.

Love the atmosphere and the food. A lovely place to eat or just have a drink while watching the game. Staff are also very friendly and relaxed. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice place to eat or hang out with friends. The prices are really good as well giving you the option of a nice meal or a snack or even a light lunch.

Second visit to Taylors and sadly today missed the mark. Totally agree with other reviews about the service (other than the lovely gentleman who greeted us and showed us to our table). We were a table of 6 and it was very quiet, at one point we were the only ones in there. Everyone was friendly, but not really with it. Sleepy Sunday vibes. There were maybe 8 staff there, we were only offered drinks once, I had to ask for more drinks an hour into our visit. Had to ask to actually place our orders etc... It felt like the quieter they were the less they could be bothered. They were polite, don't get me wrong, just not attentive. Food wise again, agree with other reviews about potato SKINS (plural) thinking you'd get two, you only get one. I would've mentioned it at the time, however as soon as the food trolley was wheeled over the girl disappeared and nobody came back to ask 'how is everything?'. The rest of the food was good. Its a nice place, and I'm sure we'll go back.

Came here on the 24/08/2020. 2 stars due to I feel a lack of good service and good quality food. Allow me to elaborate: -Upon sitting we had to wait 15 minutes before being offered drinks -The menu was very limited. -Potato Skin"S" was only one? For £5.50 and a promise of plural (being 2) I was a bit deflated. -£9.50 for an undersized pizza. I feel wetherspoons is better quality and for far less. -The margarita pizza that came out was to my taste rather overcooked and lacked topping.(it was very thin) even for stonebaked. -my friend had to ask 3 times for water and between doing so the staff member was pouring their own drink. -One member of the Bar staff used his hand to scoop ice into glasses.(during a time when such a virulent disease is present??) This was after cutting their hand too! -Before we paid the waitress asked us to load everything onto the trolley. I dont think its unreasonable that once we had piled it up to help , that they clean once we have left. We just really didn't feel attended to by any of the staff I hate being a complete downer and I'd like to add ,our bill came to 35 pounds because of the eat out to help out. However, if it was the supposed 70, I would not have been satisfied in the slightest. Positive things to note. -We didnt wait an unreasonable amount of time for food. -nice decor -The bar has a good standard of cleanliness -The Scottish man at the door was friendly! -toilets were clean.
