Statene lontani. Oltre 1 ora e 20 per un’ordinazione. Alle ripetute sollecitazione hanno parlato un primo piatto dopo 45 minuti in secondo piatto dopo un’ora e il terzo piatto. Hanno fatto qualche mistakes ma non ci sono giustificazioni

Bon accueil, musique calme, proche du London museum, bon choix et qualité de nourriture, bon et rapide service. A recommander.

No solo la comida era deliciosa y realmente sabrosa, sino que incluso la ubicación transmitía tan buen rollo. Un montón de flores y un ambiente británico muy tradicional. ¡Muy recomendado!

Pranzo all’uscita del British museum. Classico fish and chips e ale pie con le verdure di contorno senza infamia e senza lode. Personale poco disponibile nei confronti di chi non ha la padronanza della lingua che viene trattato con sufficienza. Non torneremo certamente.

The décor is traditional with, as is consistent throughout the Taylor Walker chain of pubs, a touch of humour in the blackboard signs. There is, as you would expect, a good range of drinks and a more extensive menu than in many other pubs. Five of us went for lunch after visiting the British Museum, and fortunately they had a good table available. We had the fish and chips and the gammon and egg, which were excellent. A third dish, lasagne was good but not as successful as the freshly-cooked British food. The staff were friendly and service was very efficient.

Ho provato un pollo all'aglio e limone, con una Ale di marca London Glory. Erano davvero pessimi entrambi. Il cameriere nemmeno si degna di venire al tavolo ... British way more than ever!

Classico pub inglese dove e possibile gustarsi della buona birra alla spina e mangiare i tipici piatti londinesi quale il fish and chips molto buono, buoni anche i burger...

Right...I've ordered an apple juice for my daughter and the lady behind the bar said they had only apple/mango....I looked in the fridge and could see the J2O apple/mango. I asked the lady if that was the one she was going to serve me. She said yes. Then I asked for a cheaper option such as the juice from the box in the fridge, I was told that those were for cocktails. However another lady which I assume was the supervisor said that it could be served. When I asked the price, I was told 3 pounds. 3 pounds!!!!!!! More than a J2O! When I questioned the difference nobody could explain. Apparently these are company prices. Obviously they knew how much to charge but never advised me of the prices. If the boxed juice is not in the pricing list, the supervisor had to pick some sort of a price? Cutting short, not knowledgeable staff, very pricy (location of course!) and very very grumpy supervisor.

Entre vários restaurantes optámos por este devido à quantidade de clientes. Foi má escolha pois o hambúrguer fica queimado e de má qualidade. A única coisa boa foi que prontamente nos apresentaram a hipótese de troca de prato sem custo adicional

Muy cercano al British Museum este bonito pub es un buen lugar para disfrutar de la comida de estos lugares londinenses. El tiempo de espera para que lleguen los platos es un poco largo. Hay que tenerlo en cuenta si se va con prisas. En este último caso, mejor tomar unas pintas y unas crips. La comida no tiene nada de excepcional, en cambio la decoración del local es sumamente atractiva. Si alguien espera encontrar sonrisas entre el servicio, mejor que tenga las expectativas bien bajas.

este restaurante situado muy cerca del Museo Británico, ofrece a sus comensales platos típicos de comida inglesa, el trato es correcto y suele estar muy lleno debido a su ubicación. Normal.

Entramos un pelin despistados, pero la visita fue agradable.

Es un bar tipico para tomarse una cerveza o comer algo cerva del Museo Britanico. La atencion no es muy buena.

Taylor Walker is a chain that buys Pub's that have been around forever, standardizes food, drink and service, which in this case is good. Our waitperson is from Italy. Very pleasant. Would recommend.

Appreciated the service and food. We had Shepherd's pie and fish and chips with a couple rounds of beer. Food was well-made and served hot. Pub atmosphere was what we were going for and this didn't disappoint!

Tipico pub inglese. Prima si trova un tavolo. Si deve ordinare diretamente nel balcone e dire tuo tavolo. Prezzo nella media di Londra. Ho scelto il meno costoso: jacket potato con cheese and bacon (accompagna una picola salata). Meraviglioso! Ho pagato 5 pounds. La birra picola è 2 pounds. Vi consiglio! Due passi dal Museo di Londra.

Die Burger und Pies waren durchschnittlich gut. Der Cod war zwar knackig paniert, aber innen wenig Fisch. Grosse Auswahl an englischem Essen, aber eben nichts Besonderes. natürlich gibt es auch viele Biere - wie in allen Pubs.

Estuvimos tomando unas pintas en el Taylor Walker de South Kensington, después de una visita al Science Museum.El trato recibido fue buenísimo, todos los camareros muy amables y serviciales.Tomamos unas pintas y pedimos unas patatas fritas para picar que estaban deliciosas, caseras y cortadas a mano.El precio no es bajo pero teniendo en cuenta la zona en la que está es más que aceptable.

הגענו במקרה והחלטנו להיכנס ל fish & chips. הופתענו לטובה. מנת הדגים על בסיס דג cod עסיסי הייתה טעימה מאוד והצ'יפס איכותי. גם מנת ההמבורגר ואפילו הקינוח המכונה "עוגת גבינה של מיליונרים" היו מצויינים. האווירה במקום היא של פאב אנגלי מסורתי והיא נעימה מאוד. ממליץ בחום.

I stopped here for a drink having left the station. It wasn't too busy and the staff were smiley and friendly. They were showing the football but without the sound on which good as it suited everyone. We didn't have food but the fish and chips that were coming out looked amazing!

Service was excellent, pies to die for and the millionare cheese cake is incredibly good! Well done! Waiting for sunday to try the roast beef.

Dette stedet ligger rett utenfor British Museum. Stedet har både øl og mat. Maten kom kjapt og den smakte godt. Hyggelig betjening.

Ho aspettato 15 minuti che un cameriere si accorgesse di me, prima di scoprire poi che bisognava ordinare alla cassa. A proposito, i prezzi sono onesti per essere un pub in centro a Londra. Come faccio a saperlo se nessuno mi dice niente?? In ogni caso, ho mangiato un ottimo WRAP WITH CHICKEN AND PORCK con FRENCH FRIES. Le salse sono già al tavolo. Non ordinate la loro BIRRA 1730 perché è sgasata ed insapore. Pur essendo un pub, il bagno è molto pulito, anche se puzza leggermente di piscio... Le cameriere sono molto carine!

Popped in after awful dinner in crazy bear across the road. Had a few drinks, my partner watched the football, nice big armchairs, chilled atmosphere and nice and clean. Can't complain really. Didn't eat but saw a few peoples dinners brought out and it looked nice enough

Si potrebbe fare una recensione dove potresti insultare dal primo all 'ultimo ma meglio non offendere nessuno.... la migliore ricetta non tornare più.1) abbiamo aspettato 45 minuti per avere il cibo 2) ci siamo seduti nei tavoli completamente sporchi e puliti in un secondo momento alla meno peggio 3) dopo 45 minuti dye birre due tavoli cambiati è arrivato il cibo freddo neanche tiepido.... un piacere mangiare fish and chips freddo 4) il pane dell'hamburger era a dir poco impresentabile scaldato col microonde Siamo andati a pagare il conto ed hanno voluto anche la mancia....Incredibile La grossa soddisfazione all'ingresso c'erano due clienti che cercavano un tavolo le ho consigliato di andare da un altra parte.... hanno seguito il mio suggerimento

Was sitting for 25 minutes - no one came to get the order. And that wasn't busy time. Many othet clients were forced to walk up to bar counter to grab their beer.

We chanced upon the place for lunch befor going back to The British Museum again. We never expect an English pub to outperform itself in food. We have the Sherperd Pie, Fish platter and Sirlion beef. It was really awesome! And do not forget the beer too!

Il pub si trova vicinissimo all'ingresso del British Museum. L'ambiente è tipico dei pub inglesi, un pò retrò, buona varietà di birre alla spina e menù con piatti della tradizione inglese: hamburger, club sandwich, jacket potatoes, fish & chips. I prezzi sono nella media di Londra, il cibo era discreto, nota dolente il personale non molto solare. Comunque cosigliato se siete in zona.

Went here for dinner and they brought me the wrong order. Was watching the World Rugby Cup upstairs. Manager showed up and immediately corrected it with no fussMy meal was really good and apart from the error and a nice place and well located near the British Museum after all the tourists during the day

Ulitimate fish & ships plutôt copieux mais frites ratées. Burger plutôt classique, loin, très loin, du meilleur Burger revendiqué par la maison. Pas de menu enfant et surtout aucun ajustement possible par rapport à ça. Serveur moyennement aimable mais service rapide après avoir commandé par nous même au bar (obligatoire). Un bon point quand même, la terrasse en plein soleil à 12h30.. Quand il fait beau !

After visiting the British Museum, if it's the lunch time, you can go to Taylor Walker to taste many kind of craft beers accompanied with very nice dishes like Hamburger, Toast, Fish and Chips. They are very good. I like it so much! The courtesy of the service personnel it's very high. Try it!

The plough : Πολύ καλή εξυπηρέτηση, ωραία ατμόσφαιρα παλιού Λονδίνου και εξαιρετικό fish and chips. Το συστήνω ανεπίφυλακτα για μια μπύρα μετά την επίσκεψη στο Βρετανικό Μουσείο.

On our way to the British Museum we called in for lunch. Chicken burger and scampi both arrived quickly and piping hot served by friendly staff. Nice pint of London Pride too.

Enjoyed fish and chips with peas at this bar. I also tried the Ginger Beer which was quite tasty I must say. You can order from the bar or catch the eye of a waitress for table service. We frequently just went up to the bar to order to make things easier.We were also able to order a vegetarian burger which was quite tasty.

Nice british pub, good food, but, without a real veg choice. I used to have the Veg Fish 'n Chips, sooo good! But later, when I came back, it was no longer available on the menu.

Stopped by for a welcome break at lunchtime and returned for a beer in the evening whilst trudging around London, prices very competitive, staff very friendly but beware of arrogant cyclists when sat outside,

We had the fish and chips and mushy peas.The malt vinegar good. Finally have found a tartar sauce I do not like. Served with the John Kerry wifes American ketchup. Yuk.Difficult to not compare to the excellent The Ship Inn in Astoria Oregon USA. Jill and her late husband Fenton both from England simply have had no competition here in London. Ship Inn is the best fish and chips and very worth going back for to Astoria, Oregon.

Vous allez vous faire plaisir au British Museum ( gratuit, doit-on le préciser... ) ?En sortant, prenez le temps d'une bonne bière londonienne ou, comme nous, le soir, en revenant d'une journée extra, prenez une table entre des londoniens habitués, et mangez "anglais", plutôt correctement ( avis de Français... ) avec des prix corrects eux-aussi et une ambiance toute "british".
