Tasty Wok in Sunderland

Sadly this is the last time I will use this Chinese takeaway as over the last 4/5 months the standard of the food has declined so much it is now unacceptable. This saddens me as I have supported this local business since it opened it doors the food used to fabulous , fresh, tasty and of a very high standard. However things changed and I had hoped the decline was due to change of staff or someone on holiday. But last night was my final giving it a chance again my family and I bought 5 meals and not one could be called nice….. dried out chips as if they had been reheated, a chicken curry and chicken sweet and sour balls tasting like cleaning fluid/ ammonia and gravy so thick it would pour out of the carton! These are just a few of the complaints about the horrible food this time !!! Give this place a miss it’s really is a waste of good money for bad food !!

Ordered food for takeaway, 90 minutes later and still waiting. Phoned them twice and both times said waiting for a driver. Never order again

I have dined in most of the restaurant in China Town Newcastle. The Tasty Wok establishment offers the high standards of any of the restaurants. Fresh ingredients are prepared and created into the most authentic cuisine I have ever tasted from a takeaway.

Never had a problem with Tasty Wok before, but just bought a chicken and king prawn curry and i was very disappointed with it, curry sauce was very runny and it had no taste to it. Waste of money it ended up in the bin.

Always order from here never had a bad meal love the munchie boxes very tasty alway hot and fresh and the delivery driver is always happy and smiling really nice bloke

Seriously absolutely amazing food & generous portions.....I CANT RECCOMEND THIS HIGHLY ENOUGH plz give them a try...no im not a reviewer im a genuine customer who paid for food! Praise where praise is due ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Shocking service from the restaurant. 3 hrs late. Food not up to scratch. Plenty of other places in Washington. First time and last time for this place.

Very good new Chinese takeaway. They have an extensive menu and their food is very tasty. It was a nice surprise to receive the food in a complimentary, reusable shopping bag. It is best to either order and collect or pay a small delivery charge, paying in cash. You can order online, via an intermediary site and pay by card but this method is considerably more expensive. We enjoyed our food so much the other day, that we are waiting for our next meal to arrive. The service was good and the inside and kitchen were spotlessly clean.
