First time and did not disappoint! As good as the best Thai restaurants in the UK. Aroy maak maak will be a regular

Usually very good. Had an odd one this evening. The usually delicious Pud Thai was just wrong in every way. Really dark, looked burnt, tasted odd, had stringy egg stirred in that came in big clumps, barely any noodles, barely any veg, no spring onions…. It’s almost as if they’d run out of ingredients and we’re just tossing whatever in the wok. Starters were good though. Will give another chance at some point. Hope they haven’t gone downhill. They were very consistent before.

We paid 30£ for one starter and two mains with rice. The food was good but the sticky rice was dry as a bone and a very small portion.. Even if the food was good I feel that it's overpriced and you could go to a restaurant for the same price and quality.

Very delicious Thai food in Sheffield and very kind to support during visit uk I think I’m know what real Thai test and I’m Thai people so I know the real Thai cuisine so highly recommend and the price is good even I know Thai ingredients very expensive from aboard but this shop make it so nice and tasty 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿🥰

This is a lovely little take away place. Excellent services from the staff . You can watch the chef cooking your order while you wait. I ordered nearly every week so far ! 😀 Pad Thai goog is my favourite. The texture and ingredients of this dish here is even better than in Thailand. I normally go for Thai basil (pad kra praw) , but every time I come here .. got to be pad Thai again. Chicken satay and curry also lovely. Definitely 10 stars****. Egg fried rice was the worst I have ever had bland no flavour white barely any egg. The Spicy Thai chicken basil sauce smelt awful as soon as I opened it up tried it and tasted shockingly bad as if it had gone off. Ended up going in the bin. The only slight positive was Delivery was quick. Won’t be ordering again. Worst takeaway I’ve had.

Absolutely delicious food never disappoints, the ribs are so tender, always fresh and cooked with care. The Thai salads are delicious too.

Tasty starters but red and green curries watery and lacking in depth of flavour. Sticky rice so sticky needed a cleaver to cut it. Positives are food was decent size portions and quite spiced.

Delicious as always. Good value for money and always consistent.

Was okay... but no depth to the curries. Thai green curry was soupy and massaman curry was okay-ish but the potatoes were undercooked in it, quite a bit. Customer service was really good, friendly delivery.

The Thai fish cakes were amazing...unfortunately that was it. Bland and flavourless. Lacking depth and flavour. Frozen veg in curry.

Do not order this food if you like quality Thai food. This food went straight in the bin. Tasteless, horrific, bad example of Thai food. Utterly disgusting. Waste of time and money. Don't bother.

Food was just delicious! So authentic and flavoursome. The food also arrived much earlier than expected. Definitely going to order again :)

Really really tasty, sea bass with mango salad excellent, as was the satay chicken, red curry and the Choo chee... 😋

Awesome food, I’d recommend anytime

Food was very tasty. Surprised with an order over £25 there were no crackers included, no extra peanut toppings for the pad Thai either, which would have been a nice touch. Food did come early though, which is always good!

Fairly expensive, but one of the nicer thai places, so is worth it for a treat.

I have to say i am a little disappointed today. I have ordered from this restaurant at least 10 times because the food is usually superb but today everything looked and tasted different and not for the better. I don’t know if you changed your chef or something but nothing tasted as good as it usually does and i wasn’t happy about that. I ordered 3 separate dishes and this is what i always order and none of them tasted as good as before.

Tasty Thai review Words cannot begin to do justice to the art of the cuisine that tasty Thai produces again and again. Consistency in portion sizes, authenticity to true Thai flavours. We highly recommend the pud Thai. Never left disappointed. In short, don’t look elsewhere. Going to be one of the things I’ll miss the most when I leave Sheffield. from extremely sad 3rd years:(

Bland, lacking any real flavours, overly sweet, and overpriced. 'Edible' is the nicest thing I can say about it. Also came 40 mins early (inconvenient) with no notifications beyond the order confirmation, and delivery driver didn't wear a mask (in full lockdown at this time). Big thumbs down, felt like a waste of money. Never again.

Great food, and generous servings (we ordered a portion of rice each, but only ate one between the two of us). They said delivery would be an hour and five minutes, and it was at our door in an hour and four minutes. We will order from Tasty Thai again.

Had to the call restaurant twice. I get that they're busy, but isn't that the point? Driver couldn't find our house. Food was ok, but needed reheating... suggest collection over delivery might yield a better experience... restaurant has potential, so we will most likely give them a second chance

We phoned and they were really busy, which is very understandable. Always nice to us on the phone. And the food is always awesome from Tasty Thai. Amazing quality food.

Best Thai take away in sheffield!

Authentic, tasty and fresh. Lots of fresh crunchy vegetables and generous portions of meat. Spicy and not too oily. We love tasty Thai more than other “posh” Thai restaurants for food quality.

Keep forgetting to review this place - but it's fair to say it's the best place for Thai food in Sheffield! The tofu curries are all spectacular, and the starter selection is definitely one of my favourite things to order from anywhere in Sheffield! Well worth the money 😍

Hard to know which area to mark down but both a good and disappointing visit. 2 of the 6 main dishes we ordered fell short of the description. We ordered the Makua Sam Rod - a fried aubergine dish which had NO aubergine in it so I'm assuming they missed an entire tub off our order, and also the mango salad which while it was delicious it was unbelievably spicy so couldn't be eaten by the person in our group that ordered it, and the rest of us struggled. I know Thai food is spicy but it really should say that in the description like on other dishes, but mostly disappointed by the missing aubergine since we didn't get what we paid for. Other dishes were tasty. Tom Kha soup is more pricey than other places but a bigger portion and had plenty of chicken in it. The chicken and pineapple curry was also delicious and would recommend.

First said 16.55 for delivery, then 17.15, finally arrived at 17.30!!

First time ordering from here and I have to say very impressed. Far better than your average takeaway. I particularly liked their Pud Kra Praow Moo Krob, The pork was lovely and crispy and vegetables were crunchy... I hate soggy veg but am usually resigned when it comes to takeaway. One tip though is not too order the hot version unless you really, really like spicy food.

Amazing value for amazing food, all cooked in front of you if you choose to sit in! The green thai curry from here is the best one i’ve ever had. I recommend this food to anyone who likes spicy and flavourful food. The staff are so nice and helpful!!

Very late delivery, had to call twice to chase it up and driver was not even apologetic. Also food was lukewarm and quality was substandard.

We have ordered from here a long time ago and it was excellent. So for a special birthday we ordered from here for a Thai takeaway. I can only say we were disappointed with the meal. The meals lacked the previous taste and the sauces were very runny. Disappointed!

Arrived at the take away on time. Had to wait 40 minutes after the collection time to receive my order.

It is an hour late and they aren’t picking up the phone. Don’t know what to do now. Friday night ruined.

Really late, not the first time (third). If it’s super busy on Friday, hire another driver! Don’t take a stack of orders you can’t deliver on. The wife is 8 months pregnant and we had to wait a solid 2hrs for food (and had to phone up) not acceptable. Also food was bang average - normally it’s good.

I drove in from Stocksbridge to collect this as I fancied a Thai meal and this place had great reviews, I wasn’t disappointed and it was certainly worth the trip. The food was ready bang on time which is great as you just want to get in and out and the meal was lovely. It would be great if they could add sesame rice to the menu, I had this in another Thai takeaway in Sheffield and it was fab although most places don’t do that. The only thing I would improve on is the prawn crackers, they were the thick white Vietnamese prawn crackers and I really love reddish coloured Thai prawn crackers which is why I ordered them but that’s just a small point.

Food was bland and watery and bulked out with frozen mixed vegetables. Would not order again. Very disappointed

When they're very very good, but it's been a bit hit and miss for our tastes. Tom yum soup had no veg except mushrooms (although the broth was excellent) and the pork belly curry had hard, overcooked meat. However the mixed starter was excellent, the roasted duck in red curry was delicious and the prawn pad Thai was probably the best one I've had from a takeaway. Portions are generous and the food comes quickly. Overall definitely recommended.

We've ordered here many times but were really disappointed last night. The seafood was like rubber and muscles were microscopic. Also just didn't seem to have the usual high quality flavour. Too busy, changed chef or...? Who knows, but was definitely just 'ok'

Really nice. Def. added to the list of approved takeaways. Considering it was a Monday, food was fresh and hot, mixed starter and ribs were just the right sizes, prawn pud Thai was HUGE! Crispy battered duck was decent. Overall, a good meal!

I haven't ordered in a while and it used to be my fave but instead of a massaman I got flavoured water with veg in, disappointed.

Keep going back to tasty thai, it is just delicious. Tried the mango salad this time which I would really recommend but haven't had anything that isn't good there.

Another amazing meal. This time I tried the ribs which were beaut, but would have preferred more than 3 of them. Definitely could not share them. The Pa Nang was lovely but needed to be spicer for me I think but I only selected medium. Highly recommend this place.

Been here a few times and generally pretty good but last night's meal was outstanding. Absolutely delicious stuff. We had the tofu pad thai and the spring rolls.

First time I’ve ordered from here. This meal was by far the best Thai food I’ve had outside of Thailand. I had Paneng and Special fried rice and it was super tasty. The delivery guy was also very friendly which makes a pleasant change and my order arrived early. Very please!

This is, genuinely, a very tasty thai takeaway place. The menu is full of dishes that are delicious and good value. Portions are generous without being too big. Things I've enjoyed include the deep-fried catfish (seriouly, try it) and the thai green curry with prawns. Side dishes of thai mango salad, spring rolls, coconut rice and fried noodles are also all very tasty. I'm basically listing things here that my friend and I have ordered on repeat whenever we get a Tasty Thai. The food is never too greasy but still feels indulgent. The staff are very friendly and the customer service is as good as you could possibly expect from a local takeaway. Highly recommend any Sheffield folks to give it a whirl.
