Amazing place to go to with family, the food was a perfect mix between spice and taste and I didn’t even have to wait long for it. 10/10

Among the best! One of the only places, where I can, wholeheartedly, give it a 5 all around. The service and atmosphere merely complements the food, and one cannot do anything except wish; wish for more. One of the workers, Asif, always greets with a smile, and it’s always lovely to have a good natter and chatter with him! I can do nothing more than just wait; wait for the next time I can invest in some food from there. I will be ordering once again soon! If only they opened more branches, throughout Sheffield, Rotherham, and even; although this is quite outlandish, Chesterfield. I can’t wait to eat from here soon, and I hope I’ll be ordering, once again, as soon as viably possible!

Fantastic food with fantastic service each and everytime, the manager is always on point with his recommendations! The chicken tikka biryani is one of the best we’ve tasted, mixed grill again is consistent in flavour everytime we’ve ordered. Highly recommend this place and it’s a worth a review with a 10/10 rating for food as well as the customer service and the delivery service often even earlier than expected with piping hot food. This has turned into our regular takeaway spot give it a try!

This is by far the best Indian takeaway I've tried. We order every Friday night at work and have no complaints. Food fantastic, speedy delivery and order never wrong. Trust me, try and you'll love it.

Food was AMAZING and was delivered on time, slightly earlier even. Portions are generous, and the food was the perfect temparature. I even asked for everything to be made extra spicy, and while some restaurants don't fully acommodate this, City Spice went above and beyond to meet my request. Highly recommend the meat biryani and chefs special kebab, meat is high quality, tender, and deliciously spiced across the board. 10/10, will be eating here again many many more times :)

Me and my family ordered a takeaway from here... we ordered chicken tikka and chips when it arrived it looked OK so we had the food 7hrs later 2 of my children woke up during the nite being violently sick and complaining of stomach craps!!!! My advise stay away

I dont usually leave reviews but my experience tonight has compelled me to write this one. This is genuinely one of the best takeaway curry's I've had in a long time! Never been here before and didn't know what to expect but city spice did not let me down! Ordered 3 dishes and every one was spot on. Will be coming back again 100% I would recommend this place anyone looking for some good Indian food!

We order from this restaurant regularly and we will not use any other Indian take away as this is the best one by far in our area! The food is fantastic! Tonight my partner ordered the tandoori king prawns and he said they were top class! He was slightly worried before ordering that they may be rubbery as prawns can be from a take away but no need to worry they were delicious! The meat is always tender and the curries are very flavourful with ample portions that would fulfill even the most hearty appetite! Also they do ‘real’ peshwari naan with sultanas and coconut inside! Have had others that don’t put the fruit in and to me that is always disappointing! Food from here always arrives early or on time is always hot. First class food and first class service!

I don’t like doing this but I’ve ordered twice in the space of a week, food’s good but there’s always a surprise in there, first time there was part of a washing wire in my curry, called up and rejected what they offered me cause I felt bad... second time which was today my mint sauce had a hair in it, not acceptable... think that will be my last experience here... but the food is good... be careful :)

We have been regular, happy customers for over a year. This evening we ordered two currys and one of them had a fly in it. I called to explain the situation and wasn't greeted well at all. I went into the shop for a refund and was begrudgingly handled back my money - which was only because they'd seen us go in a lot apparently. They didn't apologise, in fact they refused to. To make matters worse, it was also insinuated that we must have put the fly in there. Really disappointed with this, as we've enjoyed coming here regularly. This is the first time we've seen a fly in the food, and food previously has been OK but just cannot return with attitudes like this.

The food taste was waste and i threw the food in Bin. I respect food(in general) but the food from this hotel was not edible and i didn't receive keema naan and Tarka Dhall, instead, I received something else which didn't even had a pinch of salt. The tandoori chicken had too much oil. i wasted 15 pound for no use the food was really bad.So cheap in quality.

Discovered the hygiene rating is 0/5 through the food standards agency...after giving city spice a lot of business for the past year we have decided to now order elsewhere as we have lost confidence In the food we are being provided from there. It's totally unacceptable and very concerning that every element of your takeaway business (especially hygiene) requires 'major improvement'...sorry city spice!

Was once the best curry in sheffield, better then mangala and everywhere. Been eating from here for years and all of a sudden the standards have dropped (maybe new owners), the curries are lacking that deep flavoursome taste they used to and the portions on the lamb kebabs (which are no where near as nice) have halved. Been debating on swapping curry houses for a while and then saw the disgusting 0/10 hygiene report. RIP city spice, such a shame!

My BF and I love going here, espicially because we are students on a budget who want decent food to eat, and that's what this takeaway does for us. We would recommend this to anyone who likes to have a curry.

Me and my hubby ordered a couple of kebabs toninght for our tea because we have really enjoyed them from City Spice in the past. Previously weve ordered currys on a regular basis too but for the last few times weve been really really disappointed, and tonight our kebabs were not up to the usual quality, the naan bread they were on were tough and chewy, not fresh like they normally are and my chicken tasted like it was covered in sage or a similar herb! The chips were cold and my hubbies kebab meat was cold. We have been big fans of City Spice in the past and recommended it to our friends and family, the customer service is always excellent and the food in previous years has been excellent but the past few months we have been let down by our food purchases (whats going on? Do yhey have a different chef, or have they cut back on the quality of the ingredients they use?) The curries we ordered last time was lacking in depth of flavour and they both tasted the same even though hubby and myself ordered totally different curries. Also our curries before this was not of the usual standard but we have kept ordering from here because we thought the quality if our takeaways would improve but they havent..Sorry City Spice we feel really let down, I dont think we will be ordering from you guys again unless things improve. The food was really nice, very tasty and not greasy at all. My only disappointment was the chicken tikka masala tasted overly tomatoey and I don't like tomato based curries. However I was told that the usual chef was off ill so I wish him a speedy recovery so I can order again :)

I asked for some raw onion and so as to give me the right ammount it was given separately so I could do it myself. It's my first time ordering here and I think I've found my new regular now.
