Staff were friendly and service was fast. I like that you can personalise your own breakfast and the price is very good. Food was tasty especially the hash browns and bacon.

This place is a great find, the food is very good and excellent value. The breakfasts were very tasty and the portions were generous. We were served by a really lovely friendly and helpful lady. We will definitely return.

Popped in for breakfast while in the area, we had a small full english breakfast and coffee, meal size was perfect and the price extremely good, cheaper than other cafes in the area without overloading you with portion size to be wasted, sausage was OK but could be better only small comment, we found the owner very friendly stopping for a chat at our discretion and giving us the low down on the town and area very helpful.

Food was fabulous value for money. We are on holiday here and fancied a full English! Staff were friendly and delicious breakfast

Not a very friendly place I was going to go in there for breakfast after dropping my dog into the vets, but had a very nasty altercation with the woman in the car park, who apparently owns the cafe, her language and actions towards my dog were horrendous. So I took my business elsewhere. I think she can shove her hash browns where the sun doesn't shine.

I called in for a breakfast today on a slightly tight schedule. After a 20 minute wait, during which customers who followed me were served, the cook wandered into the cafe for a chat. I gave up and left minus breakfast and minus a fiver. If you are not a regular. I would not bother with this place.

Tasty Bites has become our new favourite place for breakfast/brunch/lunch. We take all our family there when they visit and they all love it. Can't be beaten for value for money. Four of us and not one of us could finish our meal (and we all LOVE our food!)/ Total cost for 4 meals with drinks £23. Breakfasts and brunches cooked well, not greasy at all. Lunches tasty, well cooked and presented. Friendly service. What's not to like?

Having been let down by Deansgate Motel which failed to provide breakfast on the first two nights of our stay the young man receptionist told us about TB. we had a superb breakfast at a tremendous price. Do not be deterred by the Workman's Café atmosphere the ladies served up a great breakfast. DO NOT PAY DEANSGATE FOR BREAKFAST WALK 50 yds to TB's

Looking for a cheap alternative to local cafe's we tried Tasty Bites today. The staff were friendly and welcoming as well as helpful. The menu was comprehensive and catered to all our requirements as a family of 4. I had the Big Brunch which was delicious, superbly cooked and served attractively. My wife had the medium breakfast and my girls had the simple menu which the lady serving offered to let the customise which was excellent for my girls. I cannot praise the food enough, both my girls are picky eaters and all that was left was beans (of which there were loads originally. If you are looking for large portions of delicious food at a reasonable rate then Tasty Bites is the place for you.

Lovely service, very friendly and managed to get 9 orders out altogether. Food was good and tea was proper cafe tea! Great price as well.

Having 'raved ' about this café previously, I was so disappointed that when we tried to have a breakfast there this morning(23/2/18),we were turned away hungry because ,though it was barely 9.30am & only a couple of tables were in use; apparently they could not seat us, as all the other tables were booked for 10.00am.We could have probably eaten & have left before 10.00, as service has always been prompt . Unfortunately They have lost our custom , when previously we have frequently eaten there and have given very favourable reviews on this page .Shame on you !!!

Good value for money breakfast! Altogether mine cost £4 and the portion was very generous. 2 x bacon, 2 x sausages with beans, mushrooms, tomatoes and beans. Only criticisms was that the brown sauce tasted cheap and nasty. I love a good quality brown sauce on my breakfast and was a little disappointed. The sausages were also poor quality! I know you get what you pay for but they could offer an upgrade for a small charge for a better quality sausage. I would definitely return but nice brown sauce makes the breakfast!

We love Tasty Bites! Great breakfast, very reasonable prices and friendly and efficient service. Two breakfasts for less than £10. Fab.

Buen desayuno, Russ tenía el mayor desayuno que yo había visto y disfrutado, Ross tenía su típico bacon panecillos y lo disfruté, tuve huevos escalfados sobre una tostada con frijoles y fue genial.Una gran relación calidad-precio, limpio y un personal amable.Sin duda lo recomiendo para un desayuno con buenas porciones.

La cafetería está limpio y el personal agradable.Si quieres disfrutar de las porciones bien diseñado, estás en el lugar correcto, la calidad de la comida se refleja en el precio, no es una cena de estrellas Michelin, pero bueno para una rápida parada en boxes.

Nos frecuentes picaduras sabroso sobre una base regular para el desayuno y nunca he tenido una queja con la comida. Es una muy buena relación calidad-precio y siempre con una sonrisa. Es limpio y ordenado, y solo tenemos una queja y eso los cubiertos y servilleta (2 lo siento). Los cubiertos es bastante pequeño y ligero y servilleta muy pequeño. Aparte de eso, una aprobación de mi marido y yo.

Not sure if it was a bAd day for the lady who served us but quite rude and unfriendly, we nearly walked out but there were 4 of us and decided to stay, we had fish chips and mushy peas, the fish was very cheap all was very average, it was four pounds seventy five then there was the tea in a horrible thick mug, we have had a lovely meal lovely friendly staff all for the same price elsewhere in Lydney with a pot of tea a jug of hot water and nice cups, if you want transport cafe style it may suit but we will never be going there again

The ambience is spot on the food delicious and the whole experience a delight and also very easy on the pocket, what more could you wish for from a true gem of lydney food outlets..................

En particular, deseo elogiar ella en nuestra visita a la cafetería hoy. No tener niños de edad escolar ahora, daba a las vacaciones escolares y el mayor volumen de clientes. Aunque ella estaba yo sola con un café lleno de gente hambrienta, ella era eficiente, buen humorado servían y cocinar, toda la comida fresca, con una sonrisa y calma y personalidad. La comida era deliciosa y bien preparado a un increíblemente corto espacio de tiempo. No puedo alabar el café lo suficiente, pero un Saludo especial a su propietario.

Un excelente café sirve buen tamaño raciones a un precio muy razonable. Fuimos allí para una tarde desayuno y se sirve un excelente plato lleno de bacon, salchichas, Black pudding, champiñones, frijoles, tomate, patatas fritas y rositas pan ; pero más increíble de todo es...

Fuimos allí para el desayuno. Por raro que parezca, pero bastante acertadamente, el nombre de su desayuno de gama media es el "mediocre". Mi compañero de comedor expresó la esperanza de que la camarera que el nombre se refiere al precio más que la calidad...

Nos alojamos la vuelta de la esquina en el Deangate Motel y el propietario recomendado esta gran cafe, y nos quedamos agradecidos hizo :) Nos dieron una cálida bienvenida en un día frío y húmedo. El servicio fue excelente y la comida era muy buena, era fresco y estaba a un precio muy razonable, especialmente para la porción tamaño.

This is a basic but friendly cafe that does what it says on the tin, except with very friendly service and a fantastic breakfast. That hot mug of tea was made just right and was exactly what I wanted on a cold day. Prices are very good too.

Pretty good meal, very big! Nothing too special about it, but it was cheap and very tasty! Great belly filler and will definetly come again!

we stayed at the nearby deangate motel an decided to go here for breakfast, great decision. plenty to choose from , and a very good price. its still a café, but a damn good one.

We stayed at hotel just down the road and had breakfasts on each of the three mornings and lunch on our last day. Friendly lady kathy think she is the owner and food delicious, service spot on and even a TV to catch up with the news, see you again thanks Dom, Tracey, Keith and Lorraine

The food is awesome. In a café you normally get simple food at a-bit-higher-than-normal-prices.But here, phwoar - amazing food, great prices, friendly staff and amazing service. You can not ask for anything else.Also, their mugs of Coffee are just amazing!

The best hangover breakfast in Lydney. Amazing value for money and portion sizes are fantastic! Wonderful people work here with excellent customer service. Will always go back here!
