Visited today for the first time. The food arrived after a short wait and all seemed fine. After a few minutes, my 11 year old son pulled a sharp piece of plastic from his mouth that had been in his sundae. Advised the staff member of this and he offered no response, just carried on serving other customers. No apology. No explanation. Did not come back to us. Frustrated, I approached him and he said he did not know what I wanted. At this point my son had been put off having another ice cream as way of a replacement. I said considering my son could have cut his mouth badly, I would have expected an apology to which he told me he was busy as was the only staff member working. I did point out that it would not have taken him much time to address the issue no matter how busy he was. He did then offer a replacement, but we had pretty much decided we did not want to eat anything else there and we declined. I had to request a refund as the sundae was barely eaten. Frustrated. Poor service. Won’t be visiting again. No interest in rectifying a complaint that could have been more serious.

We went here as I received a voucher from friends for a “special” birthday. On the website (and the door) it said it opened at 3 p.m. We waited and we waited and we waited. Eventually, a man arrived and unlocked the door about 3.20 p.m. We didn’t get an apology or explanation for the late opening. After looking at the menu we ordered. After about 10 minutes we were told the waffle machine was broken so we would have to choose something else. After re-ordering we waited another 20 minutes for our food. The food was OK, not wonderful. After another 5 minutes our drinks were brought to our table. They were also just OK. We will not be returning.

I came here with my kids during half term as they had a groupon offer on, the first thing the man at the counter did was complain that he thought the groupon offer had ended , he then proceeded to be well very unfriendly and unresponsive , bearing in mind I had two kids with me for a treat ! I felt like we shouldn't be there or even guilty for having brought the Groupon offer , maybe he was having a bad day but the food when it did come out was outstanding as far as my kids were concerned and that sort of cancelled out the very poor customer service. That said I wouldn't come back as felt unwanted even though I was the customer.

Having been a chef for the last 40years I can say that I have never had such a bad meal.advertised fish and chips the food that was served was fish fingers which were of very poor quality the chips were crinkle frozen.i should have known that the food was not good by the lack of cars in the car park.never again would I eat the disscusted pub.lordgeoffrey Hage.

Not good, asked for a lamb doner with salad, left with a tray of done meat with salad, went back demanded a refund which I eventually got.

2.20 for prawn crackers a very small bag of SOFT crackers that were eaten before half your meal is finnished Food was ok. You could argue its better ingredients but kind of bland. Sweetnsour chicken was neither sweet or sour ,watery with a hint of uncle bens sauce. Mixed feelings. Probably wont be coming back.
