Taste of Tenesse in Lewisham

Do not waste your time ordering food from these people. They blame everything o uber eats. The food is over priced I waited two hours for food which never arrived. They don't have a working contact number on uber eats as the customer service team was unable to get through. Horrible and should be closed permanently.

Relaxed and welcoming is how I’d describe The New Cross House - lovely atmosphere, nice decor, good food, and great customer service. The food isn’t spectacular, but it is decent pub grub - which we thoroughly enjoyed. My only (minor) complaint is that we would have preferred our Boozy Hot Chocolate to be hot rather than tepid. The thing I enjoyed most about The New Cross House is the fact you can actually have a conversation with your friends (and hear them) rather than having to shout at each other over unbearably loud music. I really enjoyed my visit here and will definitely be returning.

The bucket was split at the bottom so bad that the chicken was nearly falling out. My order was missing sides and a 1.5L drink. Very poor packing/operation at the restaurant. Will avoid ordering from the Catford branch in the future.

First time trying MotherFlipper!! Burger was Juicy and flavoursome with fresh ingredients. Just Delicious!! Staff are super friendly and welcoming. Our waitress Kettie gave amazing service!! My only criticism isn’t a criticism at all, but a lapse in my judgement based on the photos. The Brockley resturant is quite small, seating maybe 10-12 people max I would say. I will definitely return.
