This small restaurant is a gem. Have been here 4 times this year and each time has been superb. Only had takeaways as I live so close. The Dhansak is delicious as is the Patia. Side dishes are tasty and breads are excellent. Portion sizes are fair and it is not expensive. Will one day dine in but doesn’t have a drinks licence so bring your own. Only has about 20 covers and is tiny ! Very lucky to have this Indian in Tetbury. Average spend for two about £25-£30. Highly recommended..

We stayed at Hoburn water park. We found this Gem of an Indian Restraunt. Always a bit dubious about trying new Indians and when I do I always play safe and just go for a Madras which I feel should be similar everywhere. Well this one was exceptional perfect heat and a lovely thick spicy sauce absolutely perfect in my opinion. It was so good I had it three times while I was there, my wife had the Passanda and we asked for that to be heated to Madras strength and again they got it spot on. We used the delivery service for the last night and they said 30mins again the timing was perfect the guy who delivered it was vey pleasant. The guy behind the counter who took our order was real nice and very helpfull and knowledgable about the food. We would highly recommend that you try them if you like Indian Food. 5 Stars all round. Thank you

We stayed one night to start the Cotswolds Way trail and really enjoyed our stay. There's a really cozy pub with great local real ale, a good quality Indian restaurant and renovated rooms all within a few steps of each other. We met people in the bar at night and at breakfast the next morning. I'd recommend if you are on trip in the area.

We have used The Spice Room for many years, we also have 2 holiday cottages that we rent out where we recommend them as our Indian delivery/takeaway of choice. Sadly tonight’s meal was awful, not the same meal we normally have at all. We ordered a Rogan Josh and it was like a tin of chopped tomatoes with some tikka meat thrown in. No Indian flavour at all just chopped tomatoes and chicken. I called them as I wanted to let them know as I am sure this must have just been a mistake to be told in a very arrogant way that I “must have picked the wrong dish as this dish is tomato based” all I wanted was acknowledging and that they would pass on the feedback to the chef as I’m sure he must have just forgot to add any Indian spice/flavouring. Really sad about this and how I was treated but sadly I won’t be ordering from them again and I will be removing the menus from my holiday cottages incase my guests receive the same treatment.

The staff were incredibly, they could not have been more helpful. They were great at explaining the menu and even remade one of our dishes which we found too spicy. The food was so lovely, it was well presented and the menu had more variety than your average Indian restaurant. It was very clean and had a lovely atmosphere. Ideal for couples and quieter groups
