We had lamb kebab and mango lassi last Sunday and it was delicious. Very nice service for a big group of us. Great value for a jug of mango lassi. Would definitely go back again and support this great local business.

The nihari was a extremely nice would give it a 9 out of 10. However the haleem was not that great. But would reccomend them for the nihari. Very nice and tidy place and prompt service. Highly reccomend.

Excellent food, sensational nihari. Karahi needs more tomato, and tandoori paratha needs to be more fluffy, but naan is excellent. Heavily recommend

I've been going to Test Lahore for almost three years, and it's always clean and tidy. The Indian food is delicious and authentic. The staff are polite and friendly. Overall, a great place I highly recommend!

Food was great however the portion of sauces and food is smaller compared to other taste of lahore branches. However this is probably the cleanest one in a great location.

The Charsi karahi is a must try. Chicken tikka biryani is so flavourful and spicy i loved it. Atmosphere Is good, service is good as well.

Chicken Tikka biryani was amazing

Amazing food, we had a great dinner! Highly recommend the lamb kahari! We also got the prawn byriani and it was great. When you get seafood dishes you usually don’t get big portions, but there were so many fresh prawns in this one which made us very happy!!

We had 2 lovely lunchtime meals at Taste of Lahore - Chicken dinner and grilled chicken burger - which was absolutely delicious! Excellent service and good value for money. They also have some good takeaway offers as well. I will definitely be back to eat here again and would highly recommended it! 5 stars.

At first the staff is very welcoming and very nice to you even the food is very tasty and affordable menu.

We visited this restaurant as we were away from home and wanted a authentic Indian curry and we were not disappointed we ordered the chicken charsi on the bone, and it was beautifully cooked just like home cooked, all the food ordered was beautifully cooked, chicken tikka and the shekh kebab roll

My family can’t eat spicy food. So, we requested food to be as mild as possible. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication between chef and waitress, so all of our food came spicy. They agreed to remake 1 out of 3 order to be milder. Other 2 we could not eat and we took them home. Maybe at home we can eat it with plenty of yoghurt or something. Even though staff apologized for mistake, there was no discount or any complimentary to improve our experience. My rating should be taken as from person who do not like spicy food

The food was very nice just the right amount of spice balance and flavourful. The service was particularly good and welcoming, thanks to Jod who was attentional and nice. I will just recommend them to add on the menu a boneless chicken thigh tikka and malai for a more juicy experience. Definitely worth a visit.

Our server, a lovely lady, was exceptionally kind and attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed. The food was mouth-watering, with generous portions and flavors that popped. We popped by after a late trip to Westfield because it showed up on Google and looked promising. Felt relaxed and comfortable with the staff, conversing easily and very friendly. Abdul and Jot were especially welcoming. Had the mixed grill platter which was more than enough for 3 of us after fasting for iftar, staff gave us dates and room afza to help break our fast while waiting for the food to be ready. Great atmosphere and good food 😁.

I’ve been about 4 times to this restaurant and food was always delicious. One of the best restaurants to eat tasty biryani and curries.

In response to the owners Sarcastic reply to my previous review (Apologies Gmail wouldnt let me add a response from same account) - It is not the customers job to tell you that the place should be clean and not smelly or that your staff should be pleasant and not pushy for reviews. I came with my friend for his birthday, I didnt want to make any complaints and just leave. Then your lady asked for a review and so I gave it honestly based on my experience. If she hadn't of asked me i wouldn't have given one. You cant complain if my review isn't 5 stars just because I didnt mention anything in store, you cant tell me what to do and how and when to give you feedback instore when it suits you. I came to your restaurant respectfully. Paid and left respectfully.

My husband & I ate here last night. Food arrived very quickly, both meat & veg samosas were over cooked. We both had chicken dishes which were just okay. My husband was up in the early hours being violently sick which carried on throughout the day! God knows what they gave us but I have been super worried about my hubby and had to call the online doctor. Also the waitress needs to learn some customer service skills and leave her troubles behind. I have also sent an email to food standards Board.

Chicken karahi was nice. Lamb chops were a scam. Roti was nice. Samosa was a scam. Place smelled of BO. Lady server was super grumpy & only was polite when begging me for a 5 star Google review. Other Branches of Taste of Lahore are much better.

I am a regular customer of this restaurant, and I love their food, but this time, when I ordered biryani, I found pieces of broken glass in the food.

I visited the restaurant today at 2pm with my Wife to take advantage of the Lunch time promotion (Everyday from Noon-3pm) I ordered a Quarter chicken, chips and a drink. The waitress asked me what level of spice did I want the chicken, I requested mild spice. The food arrived (picture attached) which clearly shows no seasoning, not even salt and pepper, I raised this matter with the waitress and she argued the point this is mild spice. I was repeatedly explaining there’s is no flavour on this chicken but she was persistent in her views that this is mild spice and that mild spice means no sauce/ flavour. ( No I’m not kidding, she actually said this. Wallah!) She then showed her iPad where orders take place and I explained to her that one of the spice options is “plain” which is what I received but she still had confidence in her views. Eventually I raised this with the chef who also has same views as the waitress but he mildly corrected the chicken to the desired flavour. Once we ate the food, I went to the toilet to wash my hands, I returned where I noticed the waitress rushed my Wife to pay for the bill before I had a chance to take a look. When I reviewed the bill, I realised the waitress charged full price for my Wife’s order when this was part of the lunch time offer. I questioned why did she charge full price, her response was “Because madam ordered food using the menu, not the lunch time offer menu”(a separate menu which is also printed on the front window of the restaurant). That was not true because my Wife ordered the food infront of me using the promotional menu. Lying in our face to defend her point is one thing, but the logic behind her defence is going too far now. I’d like to consider myself a patient man but honestly, Taste of Lahore Hammersmith, what is going on here?! I eventually got the difference refunded after 15 mins of arguing my point to all the staff in the restaurant at the time. I’ve been to taste of Lahore branches in Hounslow, Wembley, Harrow and Ealing for years and never had such issues or concerns, usually the staff are great and very generous. It’s a shame because this branch is the most aesthetically pleasing. I hate to sound like a Karen but I thought I was going insane or living in some parallel universe if that exists, I don’t even think a parallel universe will operate with such weird logic. I didn’t speak to the managers of the restaurant yet as there weren’t any present at the time so still waiting for their feedback. I have no problem with mistakes with my food or with staff, but I don’t appreciate when someone is clearly wrong yet trying to prove they are not. Also forgot to mention, when the chicken was “milded”, the chips became cold and they did not offer to make a fresh portion as a good will gesture. By the way, what is going on with that salad sauce thing. Finally my Wife would also like to mention, the rice dish She ordered was very starchy. She ordered the chicken option but somehow lamb also got into the dish. Might be a bonus but raises alot of questions judging from todays scene of event. Taste of Lahore, you are better than that. I’m waiting to hear from you.

I hate to say it but it was the worst curry I’ve ever had. It wasn’t bad necessarily, just really bland despite me asking for it to be extra spicy. It was just tasteless. The kebabs also tasted store bought (not saying they were, but did not look or taste home-made at all). I usually go to the ToL in West Ealing, I’ve also been to the ones in Harrow and Southall and usually the quality and taste is all great, but this tasted nothing like those branches, even the chilli sauce was different and I know this because I’ve been eating at taste of Lahore in West Ealing for the last 16 years. Even the menu was different (and more expensive!!) so I’m very interested to know what has gone wrong in Hammersmith. I was thoroughly disappointed so when the waitress asked me to leave a review, I told her I would give my honest opinion. It was also completely empty in contrast to West Ealing which is always packed. In hindsight, this should have been a sign. Service was average, nothing to write home about, and the atmosphere was cold.
