Kishmish in Hammersmith and Fulham

We dine in and take away - the service is always excellent, and the shashlik and briyani divine !

Wonderful meal as always from here. This is my ‘go to’ takeaway but this time we decided to head to the restaurant and eat there. Food amazing, service amazing. It’s a small place so can sometimes be either super busy or super quiet - but is always worth the visit.

Visited good Friday while visiting family in the area. Menu is very basic no keema rice and no fried rice. Popadoms a little spice to them must of been stored on spicey ones. Mango chutney also had a little spice to it. Bambay aloo potatoe's not peeled and very spicey. Korma very pleasent. No ice in 2nd round of drinks. Given bill before being finished with our drinks and told no service charge added for local customers as they tip

Delicious food and a really interesting menu - both the classic curries and some more unusual dishes, which are particularly good if you are vegetarian. This is my favourite place to get an Indian takeaway in London. It is in an unlikely location (the greyhound road) and thus feels like a hidden unpretentious west London gem. The smoked aubergine side dish is one of my all times faves as are all the paneer dishes.

Have been walking past this restaurant for an age. Finally tried and so glad I did. Tastey food and lovely staff 🙂

This is the second time I have been here and as per normal the food was amazing, I had the chicken korma. The flavours were amazing and the chicken so tender. The service was also very good and attentive. I can not fault Kishmish. Thank you for a great meal.

Beautiful food and great portion sizes. I generally have a chicken tikka madras whenever I have a curry and this was one of the best I've had. Full of flavour and smelt amazing. Tipu served us and was very accommodating. Highly recommend

A very quiet Indian restaurant. We arrived, and what was our surprise when we saw that we were the only customers: the restaurant seemed to work a lot through deliveries. Still, we were treated to dishes of incomparable flavor. The spicy sauces are spiced up to your liking. The meat, chicken and shrimp are equally excellent. Honestly, the best Indian restaurant I've had. I will forever remember the sauce in my dish, which dazzled me for a week. In short, an Indian getaway that takes the form of an idyll.

Tipu sat us down and looked after us throughout. He was very attentive and the food came quickly. The popadoms and chutney came straight away. We ordered the lamb rogan, chicken tikka, dal and everything was delicious. We’ll absolutely come back again!!

I have had the blessings of being able to eat at Londons finest restaurants. When it comes to Indian food, this is by far the greatest Indian cuisine I have ever tasted in my life! No wonder why this Indian restaurant has been established and doing well for over thirty years. Me and my family were eating at this restaurant when they were next to the Chelsea football club and thats over twenty years ago. The staff are super friendly and the restaurant is lovely and clean. This is the only place I would order Indian food from, it's the confidence in knowing whatever you eat its going to be excellent or knock you off your feet. I love, love, love, love, love, love, love it! 🤤😳🥰😋🤤💯💯💯💯 🫡

This very humble restaurant, in my opinion has the best food in the area. The staff are lovely and they deserve everyone's attention. Unfortunately, I have neglected this establishment, due to the lock down period, but that's enough of that. Highly recommended 👌

The butter chicken with steak rice was phenomenal. I am not an Indian food fan but my group was craving it. Everything we had was incredible. Salmon, lamb and appetizers were all amazing. Only down side was no alcoholic beverages:-)

Order on Deliveroo ! Been living 5 minutes from this restaurant for over a year and had no idea it existed 😅 Food was so good! Lots of unique options I haven't see before - my personal fav, the Masala Chips and spicy poppadums. Delivery was quick, no complaints - would defo order from here again < 3

Everything from the moment we went in! The place has an amazing environment from decoration to the music choice and customer service. The menu has a good variety of choices even for those who don't usually eat spicy food and everything is absolutely delicious from starter to dessert. Thank you to the waiter for your helpful suggestions with the menu and for delivering a 5 star service. Will definitely come back!

Very nice food and good service!

The food was incredibly spicy. They had simply added red chili powder, an excessive amount of it. I challange that no one could ever eat this type of food, not even those who prepared it. I felt sick immediately after taking a few bites.

Ordered a takeaway using their app. Had to call because my payment was refused by their app although my bank had authorised it. They took the order on the phone with a delivery of 30mn. The order arrived after 1 hour (had to call them again) and the food was cold. Deleted the app on the spot. Don’t order from these guys.

Came here with my son after the football. We have both eaten in many Indian restaurants across the country and Kishmish was one of the best. Service was personable- staff very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. Very fresh and plentiful. Highly recommended.

Excellent delivery that makes everyone happy, 40 mins. perfect portion sizes, quick delivery service and most importantly. the food incredibly delicious. We used to go else where but the speed of delivery and food is good. booked for group of 8 and it was all good.

I recently attempted to order food from this restaurant “Kishmish”, using Uber Eats. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by the extremely rude and discriminatory behavior of a middle-aged man at the restaurant. Despite politely expressing my concern about his inappropriate conduct, he not only failed to address it but also forcefully prevented my entry. This encounter left me deeply dissatisfied, as I believe in treating customers with respect and courtesy. I would advise caution to anyone considering dining at Kishmish, as my encounter with this individual was far from the level of service one would expect. It is disheartening to encounter such behavior, and I hope the management takes steps to ensure a more welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers.

I ordered for the first time a couple of items from here. Chicken korma, onion salad and garlic naan. The naan and salad were fine. The korma was not did not smell or taste like restaurant chicken korma it was very salty not sweet like korma should be and the colour was darker than a korma shoul be, and for £11.15 I was expecting it to be very nice but sorry to say was not more like a supermarket curry. Will not be ordering from here again which is disappointing.

Bijou, restaurant is more as a home delivery hub. However we enjoyed perfect service, the food was all quickly prepared for us, incredibly well presented, hot, quality meats and utterly, mouth wateringly delicious. The no alcohol served rule didn't trouble us, as this was clear on booking the table. We were also given an excellent discount for our booking online. We just wish this restaurant was nearer to us in East Sussex. Highly recommended to all curry lovers

Honestly the food lacked salt! I had a lam rogan josh which had no spice at all for me considering it had chillis in the dish. Yea just quite bland unfortunately

We went for a dinner out in Kishmish and were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The restaurant is cosy, small, clean and very pleasant. The waiter was very attentive, quick and recommended very tasty dishes. We will be definitely back.

I have ordered from them for years and the food has been incredible every time. One of the best indian places I know in London, and good value for money. The food is incredible delicious. Everything we ordered so far was 10 out of 10. Friendly staff and short waiting time. I moved out of the area but I order online now.

This wonderful restaurant has only a few tables if you wish to dine in house. It serves a classical menu of traditional Indian dishes.. the history of the staff goes back to the 1970s and the service is absolutely excellent. The staff are really friendly and go out of the way to ensure you have a good time. They don’t serve alcohol in this restaurants but they serve some very good percent alcohol cocktails and wine alternatives. It’s a choice, but it really works well. The food is absolutely excellent. It’s really worth eating in and enjoying the atmosphere. They also cater to an online dine at home community.

We love Kishmish. We were their first customers 8 weeks ago when they actually opened as a sit in restaurant but writing another review after having take aways since. Such a lovely, friendly place with amazing service - get greeted so kindly and remembered. Lovely food - paneer masala is a delight.

Great ambience, great service but most of all great food. The flavours are great and it somehow feels fresher than any curry house I've eaten at before (and there have been many!). Even the chutneys are a cut above.

Went on friday night , a couple , tipi the water was extremely nice and educated , food was absolutley amazing , so much better quality than many other indian restaurants I went , to ne honest I was very surprised . Would deffo comeback and 100% recomend this place .

Ordered Chicken Biriyani from this place while I was there in London in Aug. I was with a group coming from various parts of India having the combined experience of at least a dozen different biriyani flavours and regions and how they actually taste. Honestly this was unanimously the worst in our book(tainted forever with this). The dish was bland, unaromantic and looked like a chicken pulao which is giving disrespect to pulao, but that's the best I can do. To the restaurant chef/manager - Please contact me personally if you want a biriyani recipe, at least you won't have to dupe your clientele with a poor excuse of a dish charged at a hefty 15 pounds. I will make it easier for you and personally send you a pack cooked by me at your own cost after the rip off that was this dinner. Yours Humbly, A novice biriyani eater (if that's not ironic, might as well drop the dish) P.S - even with that rip off the chicken tikka kebabs and the tandoor were good, although disappointing portions. The one star is for that.

Briyani - They should change the name to something else, I am not sure of. But definitely it was not a briyani. Chicken tikka - taste was good but the portion was very less. Chicken tandoori - taste was better but the portion was very very very less.

Some of the most delicious Indian cuisine I have tasted. Absolutely 💯. Really diverse and delicious dishes, as well as those ones we are used to. Also, the delivery packaging is of very high standard so it tastes really fresh. One of my fave places to order from.

Food is very tasty. Authenticity I’m unclear. Usually the chicken tikka masala is a good option. The sauce is nice when we first started ordering however the thickness in the sauce has been lost and a bit watery. The chicken in the tikka masala is not over cooked and is tender. However through time the chicken has shrunk and portions got a little smaller. So they was 2 key points Not everybody likes rice so we also go For chunky chips. For the portion size of a chips it will cost you nearly £4.00 per portion which is very heavy on price plus you can expect the chips to be crispy one day but mushy (soggy) the next so it’s quite a mixed opinion. Recently ordered on 27/05/2023 I both myself and partner encountered body hairs in our foods. This was the 1st time it’s ever happened. So what’s my final verdict. The food for taste is 7/10 based on the aroma and texture of the food. Price- products like chips extremely overpriced. Customer service- overall 10/10 as they are always helpful Deals- no complimentary extras after spending a certain amount. The app does has tick boxes too get offers but never in my 17 times ordering I’ve encountered promotions. My overall score- 6/10

Ordered via Deliveroo, 4 items missing. Claimed to be given to the rider however after speaking to him he confirmed he was only given the 1 bag and not the 2 that’s the restaurant claimed to have given. Butter chicken was ridiculously salty and unenjoyable

The worst curry I have ever ordered. First of all 3 items were missing, and then the rest was completely inedible. Microwaved rubbish, and had to spit the chicken out. The sauce was just tomatoey, and not curry like at all. Truly awful!

Every time I order, they never fail. Food comes sealed properly which I like very much. Always taste great and fresh. They happy to alter the food for me. Fast and professional service/delivery.

I’ve just moved to London and have been trying local restaurants. Kishmish was well reviewed but so disappointing. I paid £23 to basically get a microwaved meal, packed in pre-prepped, pre-sealed containers, that had less flavour than a tesco ready meal curry. I genuinely don’t know where the good reviews come from.

Just literally ordered and it’s came in ready meal microwaved packaging it’s not freshly cooked so disappointed having to order from another curry house I really do not recommend this at all by far the worst I have ever had 😩
