Kishmish in Hammersmith and Fulham

Came here with my son after the football. We have both eaten in many Indian restaurants across the country and Kishmish was one of the best. Service was personable- staff very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. Very fresh and plentiful. Highly recommended.

Excellent delivery that makes everyone happy, 40 mins. perfect portion sizes, quick delivery service and most importantly. the food incredibly delicious. We used to go else where but the speed of delivery and food is good. booked for group of 8 and it was all good.

I recently attempted to order food from this restaurant “Kishmish”, using Uber Eats. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by the extremely rude and discriminatory behavior of a middle-aged man at the restaurant. Despite politely expressing my concern about his inappropriate conduct, he not only failed to address it but also forcefully prevented my entry. This encounter left me deeply dissatisfied, as I believe in treating customers with respect and courtesy. I would advise caution to anyone considering dining at Kishmish, as my encounter with this individual was far from the level of service one would expect. It is disheartening to encounter such behavior, and I hope the management takes steps to ensure a more welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers.

I ordered for the first time a couple of items from here. Chicken korma, onion salad and garlic naan. The naan and salad were fine. The korma was not did not smell or taste like restaurant chicken korma it was very salty not sweet like korma should be and the colour was darker than a korma shoul be, and for £11.15 I was expecting it to be very nice but sorry to say was not more like a supermarket curry. Will not be ordering from here again which is disappointing.

Bijou, restaurant is more as a home delivery hub. However we enjoyed perfect service, the food was all quickly prepared for us, incredibly well presented, hot, quality meats and utterly, mouth wateringly delicious. The no alcohol served rule didn't trouble us, as this was clear on booking the table. We were also given an excellent discount for our booking online. We just wish this restaurant was nearer to us in East Sussex. Highly recommended to all curry lovers

Honestly the food lacked salt! I had a lam rogan josh which had no spice at all for me considering it had chillis in the dish. Yea just quite bland unfortunately

We went for a dinner out in Kishmish and were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The restaurant is cosy, small, clean and very pleasant. The waiter was very attentive, quick and recommended very tasty dishes. We will be definitely back.

Delicious hot curry and speedy delivery at a fair price. 5 stars in my opinion.

I have ordered from them for years and the food has been incredible every time. One of the best indian places I know in London, and good value for money. I recently went in person (two days in a row!) and the quality and service was so good. It was clear that this is a family owned business and that the owner cares a lot. Would highly recommend

This wonderful restaurant has only a few tables if you wish to dine in house. It serves a classical menu of traditional Indian dishes.. the history of the staff goes back to the 1970s and the service is absolutely excellent. The staff are really friendly and go out of the way to ensure you have a good time. They don’t serve alcohol in this restaurants but they serve some very good percent alcohol cocktails and wine alternatives. It’s a choice, but it really works well. The food is absolutely excellent. It’s really worth eating in and enjoying the atmosphere. They also cater to an online dine at home community.

We love Kishmish. We were their first customers 8 weeks ago when they actually opened as a sit in restaurant but writing another review after having take aways since. Such a lovely, friendly place with amazing service - get greeted so kindly and remembered. Lovely food - paneer masala is a delight.

Great ambience, great service but most of all great food. The flavours are great and it somehow feels fresher than any curry house I've eaten at before (and there have been many!). Even the chutneys are a cut above.

Went on friday night , a couple , tipi the water was extremely nice and educated , food was absolutley amazing , so much better quality than many other indian restaurants I went , to ne honest I was very surprised . Would deffo comeback and 100% recomend this place .

Ordered Chicken Biriyani from this place while I was there in London in Aug. I was with a group coming from various parts of India having the combined experience of at least a dozen different biriyani flavours and regions and how they actually taste. Honestly this was unanimously the worst in our book(tainted forever with this). The dish was bland, unaromantic and looked like a chicken pulao which is giving disrespect to pulao, but that's the best I can do. To the restaurant chef/manager - Please contact me personally if you want a biriyani recipe, at least you won't have to dupe your clientele with a poor excuse of a dish charged at a hefty 15 pounds. I will make it easier for you and personally send you a pack cooked by me at your own cost after the rip off that was this dinner. Yours Humbly, A novice biriyani eater (if that's not ironic, might as well drop the dish) P.S - even with that rip off the chicken tikka kebabs and the tandoor were good, although disappointing portions. The one star is for that.

Briyani - They should change the name to something else, I am not sure of. But definitely it was not a briyani. Chicken tikka - taste was good but the portion was very less. Chicken tandoori - taste was better but the portion was very very very less.

Some of the most delicious Indian cuisine I have tasted. Absolutely 💯. Really diverse and delicious dishes, as well as those ones we are used to. Also, the delivery packaging is of very high standard so it tastes really fresh. One of my fave places to order from.

Food is very tasty. Authenticity I’m unclear. Usually the chicken tikka masala is a good option. The sauce is nice when we first started ordering however the thickness in the sauce has been lost and a bit watery. The chicken in the tikka masala is not over cooked and is tender. However through time the chicken has shrunk and portions got a little smaller. So they was 2 key points Not everybody likes rice so we also go For chunky chips. For the portion size of a chips it will cost you nearly £4.00 per portion which is very heavy on price plus you can expect the chips to be crispy one day but mushy (soggy) the next so it’s quite a mixed opinion. Recently ordered on 27/05/2023 I both myself and partner encountered body hairs in our foods. This was the 1st time it’s ever happened. So what’s my final verdict. The food for taste is 7/10 based on the aroma and texture of the food. Price- products like chips extremely overpriced. Customer service- overall 10/10 as they are always helpful Deals- no complimentary extras after spending a certain amount. The app does has tick boxes too get offers but never in my 17 times ordering I’ve encountered promotions. My overall score- 6/10

Ordered via Deliveroo, 4 items missing. Claimed to be given to the rider however after speaking to him he confirmed he was only given the 1 bag and not the 2 that’s the restaurant claimed to have given. Butter chicken was ridiculously salty and unenjoyable

The worst curry I have ever ordered. First of all 3 items were missing, and then the rest was completely inedible. Microwaved rubbish, and had to spit the chicken out. The sauce was just tomatoey, and not curry like at all. Truly awful!

Every time I order, they never fail. Food comes sealed properly which I like very much. Always taste great and fresh. They happy to alter the food for me. Fast and professional service/delivery.

I’ve just moved to London and have been trying local restaurants. Kishmish was well reviewed but so disappointing. I paid £23 to basically get a microwaved meal, packed in pre-prepped, pre-sealed containers, that had less flavour than a tesco ready meal curry. I genuinely don’t know where the good reviews come from.

Just literally ordered and it’s came in ready meal microwaved packaging it’s not freshly cooked so disappointed having to order from another curry house I really do not recommend this at all by far the worst I have ever had 😩

I am, or was, a regular customer of Kishmish. Until yesterday I would have rated them 5 stars every time. However, last night I found a piece of glass inside my peshwari naan. I found it because I bit into it, thankfully I didn’t swallow it, as I would probably have been injured. I telephoned immediately, but the manager could not take my call. I was told that he would telephone first thing the next day. I didn’t hear from him. I tried again after opening at 5pm. I was told that he would be in at 6pm and would telephone then. At 7.45pm I telephoned again. I finally spoke to him. All he could do was to apologise and say that they didn’t have any glass objects in the kitchen. I did concede that it could have been hard plastic, but that the noise of it tapping on the plate rim sounded like glass. He again apologised and offered to send me the order again (I assume for free), I politely told him that I would never eat there again and that the least he could do was to refund my purchase price, which he agreed to do. I would rate 0 stars if I could. Awful food experience coupled with appalling customer service. So so sad as I’d been a huge fan for years.

I'm in search for the best biryani takeaway around Fulham, so far this one is the only one that disappointed me. The biryani is not flavourful enough and the veggie curry that comes with it tastes bland.

During the christmas vacation in 2012, I had visited to eat dinner. Very tasty!!

Have eaten a lot of Indian takeaways over the past 4 years from the area but this place so far is our new favourite, it was incredible, we had the chicken shaslik that was so succulent and fragrant I was dreaming about it that night, the korma was perfectly balanced in texture and flavour. I wholeheartedly recommend and the next time we order Indian, you don’t even need to question who we’re going with.

Very disappointed with customer service. The food although delicious has been let down by the customer service provided in this establishment. Following an order placed in NOVEMBER, 7 phone calls and 2 emails, we have yet to hear back from the manager regarding a refund as we were charged twice. When requesting an order this evening for food with the equivalent cost to the money we are owed, the employee was unable to assist, and reported his 'manager would call us back when he was next in'. I find this unacceptable, as this is the excuse we have had for the previous 6 phone calls, and no answer to our emails. We will no longer be making any orders to Kishmish in the future, as much we like their food, as we feel let down and disappointed by their team.

Agreed with the other 5 star reviews here...food is excellent. Better that Khan's in S. Kensington and Punjab in Covent Garden. And I've only ever done takeaway. Can't recommend enough

Having place an order with this restaurant, it was not delivered.

My wife had the lamb shank and I had tandoori chicken Pathia, sides of mushroom bhaji, saag paneer and Bainghan Bhartha (smoked crushed aubergine). Fantastic spicey food withoube being overpowering and lovely tasted. The aubergine being a special treat with a sort of sweet sour savoury taste - unique. Prompt service and top class.

All I can say is wow! Speechless 🔥, unique, not the typical British Indian fare! Delivery was perfect. Can’t wait to visit in person soon. Had the samosas, okra, vindaloo, green beans, tandoori paneer, missi roti, naan, and black daal.

About two years ago I ordered a curry from this place. I explained to them on two occasions I had an anaphylactic nut allergy to cashews. Order arrived and I foolishly didn’t really check the food after informing them of my personal needs and them assuring me they only used almonds, which I understand to be a sort of dry fruit seed thing anyway. Fast forward 6 hours and I’m leaving the hospital at about 3am having been discharged after having another anaphylactic reaction. Contacted a solicitor but they seem to just have ignored it all. I think they’ve changed their menu’s now but just beware if you have a nut allergy like me. Things only change if a fatality is involved. Posting this because I assume there won’t be an apology, compensation or a lesson learned from them.

Fantastic food, some of the best Indian that I've ever had. Ordering in the website was a seamless experience, one can tell that care has been given to ensure it's a good user experience. There is also a discount if you choose to collect, which we did as we live locally. I was surprised by how neat the take away presentation was, with everything clearly labelled. After travelling around India i was really unenthused by British Indian restaurants, until i found Kishmish - a true authentic experience, with delicious dishes that remind me of the beautiful country of India.

Couldn't believe my taste buds when I tried these guys for takeaway. The food is delicious, you get a generious portion and the packaging allows for it to all stay very warm and fresh! Everyone I introduce to it always orders from them now!

One of the most delicious Indian meals I have ever tasted.

I live 5 minutes from them and am always walking past so smell the aroma on my way to the shops. I finally made the decision to try them out As a vegetarian, I paid £10.75 to have the tandoori paneer as my main course, only for them to deliver 4 small pieces of paneer. This is supposed to fill me up? I thought that there must have been a mistake so phoned kishmish to let them know but it turned out that was exactly what they charge £10.25 for. What really annoyed me a prompted me to write this review (I never normally write bad reviews) is the attitude of the person who I spoke to when I let them him know of my disappointment. No appology, just silence and then "ok, thank you, bye" I'm guessing that it most definitely wasn't the owner of the business as he didn't seem to really care what my experience ordering from them was like So now I've finished my order from kishmish, I'm having to order more food for myself so unfortunately not a positive experience for me.

Excellent Indian. Have only tried their food through delivery, but never disappointed. My favorites are prawns korma, the smashed aubergines and the butter chicken. Very tasty!

4 prawns in a curry for £13.50 is a bit ridiculous. They were supposedly jumbo prawns, but certainly the smallest jumbo prawns I've had.

I’ve walked past every day and despite furniture inside they haven’t yet opened for eat in diners (venue hosts kishmish & burgers off broadway). I must admit it does smell amazing. Ordered via Deliveroo, came promptly. Pilau and madras curry were both flavourful but the curry wasn’t very spicy. Portion was also tiny, there were only about 6 chunks of chicken.

Podría haber pensado que era una cosa de una sola vez, pero también lanzamos todas las piezas de pollo del curry de pollo. Muy decepcionado ya que pedimos para la familia después de mirar la calificación de Deliveroo y nadie terminó comiendo adecuadamente.

DON’T ORDER ONLINE. Horrendous. Owner INCREDIBLY RUDE, we ordered and got a 30-45 minute confirmation time. Waited 90 minutes, called and got yelled at by the owner for complaining. No apology, nothing.

Excellent Indian food. Light, spicy, tangy. You can really taste all the flavours.
