A real find in Hammersmith. Delicious food with many options not available in other Indian restaurants. Will definitely go back again.

Absolutely outstanding!! We had a delicious dinner last night, the waiters, the service so swift, the atmosphere amazing, the food incredible and prompt and displayed beautifully and utterly divine tasting, the entire thing food place location and service top shelf!! Highly recommend

What a delightful restaurant! My business partner and I were in London for only three days and lucked out to get our Indian meal here. Hammersmith is a quaint, fun location. Service was excellent. We especially loved the fish curry, chicken jalfrezi and dun gobhi matter (cauliflower).

The food here is nothing short of stunning. The service is friendly and quick. The crab starter is a must try and the malabar chicken does not stint on the chilli. Portions were excellent, you leave satisfied but not bloated. If I could give this restaurant 6 stars I would.

I wholeheartedly recommend Indian Zing. Having been there casually with friends and family, I recently organised a dinner for 22 with my colleague, and the experience was exceptional. The staff was accommodating, discussing seating, dietary needs, and budget considerations. The curated menu was superb, and the food exceeded expectations. We're definitely planning to return for both personal and work-related events.

Just had one of the best indian meal. We were looked after by Bijoy Dada. Most delicious food veg and nonveg - feels like homemade food, I would go there anyday. Highly recommend if you want real Indian food without going to India.

My partner and I walked in without a reservation on a Friday night (around 6:30) and were able to get a table. The food was absolutely delicious! The flavours were amazing and the spice level was just right. We were warned that the main dishes we were getting were “very hot” by the server, but we didn’t think it was overly spicy, maybe for some people it is. The server we had (maybe the manager?) seemed a little distracted when serving us with people coming through the door or what the other staff were doing but it didn’t hinder our experience that much. Would recommend when looking for quality Indian food on this side of London! P.s if you love goats cheese and coriander then definitely get the goats cheese starter!

I had lamb and it was so tough to chew, I presume it was overcooked if not stale. The nan bread and rice were “okay”, I’ve had much better at chain Indian restaurants in London. The service was bad other than one young girl who was kind and okay at her work - but I won’t go into the details. The restaurant atmosphere was nice. Overall I thinks that a 4.6 review in google is highly overrated and misleading for this restaurant.

We had a nice food in Indian Zing. Delicious! Taste, texture and aroma everything was perfect. Highly recommend to try them. Lovely atmosphere as well, soft music, not so many accents in interior. And staff members are polite and helpful

I rarely write reviews but everything about this place is perfect. I have now been over 1/2 dozen times and the food is consistently very good, the host and service very friendly and the place is quite comfortable. On the surface it might seem like a local restaurant however I would be willing to travel to eat there. Love it!

My wife and I have ben to this restaurant on several occasions and would consider ourselves regular customers, we both agree that the food gets better and better on each visit and if you like Indian food with a difference, this is a must for you, I can't praise the staff and food highly enough...do give it a try!

we had a wonderful dinner in December. Samosas of goats cheese and tikka with their own pasty. Goan fish curry & lamb rogangosh. Pistachio ice cream. All very delicious.

Very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere. I wanted a dish that was not on the menu and this was no problem for the chef who made this especially for me. Perfect. We finished the evening with a complementary glass of wine each and will definitely return here again on out next visit to London.

As always zing never fails to meet expectations. The food was flavourful, with just the right amount of spices. The sea food biryani was divine and so was the special Dal on weekends was yummy!

We came for our anniversary dinner. Everything was delicious and cooked to the perfection. As an Indian it's hard to find restaurant with good Indian bread but Indian zing live up to our expectation.

This was our first time trying Indian Zing despite living only round the corner. Both the service and food was fantastic. Very kind and accommodating and they took care in providing myself with the most delicious vegan dish (off menu)! We were all extremely grateful to kindly receive an on-the-house Christmas drink each to end the evening too. Cosy atmosphere and lovely staff. Highly highly recommended!

This restaurant came recommended by a friend of a friend and they were able to accommodate a last minute table for us for 10 people - both the quality of the food and the service was outstanding, the staff were all knowledgable about allergies and gave recommendations on portion sizes and dishes they would advise based on our preferences. A very underrated restaurant, would definitely go back! My personal favourites were there lamb kebabs they were literally melt in the mouth ..

We have eaten at many Indian restaurants in Hammersmith / London and were excited to try Indian Zing. They certainly let you know has acclaimed they are with the first page of the menu being a bunch of reviews - a bit over the top. We had a good meal, but the food was not the best that we've had. The Tadka Daal in particular was a bit disappointing. All in all, it was a good meal, the setting is nice, and the service was very good, but we will likely frequent other Indian restaurants in our area.

One of the best Indian restaurants I've been to. The papadums with 3 sauces are great, the vegetable samosas are excellent, and everything we tried was extraordinary. Fantastic service, and the gulab jamum dessert was also top notch.

Indian Zing is a brilliant operation. The staff are attentive, but not intrusive and the food is divine. We took the Ghatti Lamb, the classic Hill Station curry, and the South Indian Chettinad Duck. Both were full of spice and flavour! The Baigan Bharta was also most welcome. I strongly recommend this restaurant for authentic Indian cuisine.

Recommended by a friend, I found Indian Zing to be a welcome respite from a rainy evening. A warm greeting at the door and an immediate seating at a crisp white-clothed table lead to a steaming pot of Masala chai that helped sooth a long day of exploring. Branching out from my traditional Indian favorites, I chose a goat cheese tiki starter, and so happy I did. Truly delicious. The tomato curry of the lamb Roganjosh would have been delicious simply with naan, rich tomato flavor with a touch of zing, not heavy or too oily. And to round out this treat meal, I ordered the Tandoori fig and apple crumble with Madagascar vanilla dairy. The lush combination of warm fig and apple filling and cool pure vanilla was meant to be savored. My only regret was I could not finish the ample serving. I received exceptionally attentive service and they even kindly took time to charge my very dead phone.

Outstanding food, excellent service. I cannot recommend the gymkhana lamb chops highly enough, the tastiest, medium spiced, delicate bites and about 5 per serving. Also if you like a little more spice and prefer chicken, the haddiwala is outstanding.

I recently dined at Mumbai Zing, an Indian restaurant located in Kensington, run by the talented Chef Vasaikar. My visit yesterday left me thoroughly impressed. The Ghaati Mutton dish was a standout, featuring succulent mutton slow-cooked with spices that created a delightful explosion of flavors. I also had the pleasure of trying the 'भानवले' (bhanavle), a baked vegetable quiche served with chutneys, which was a nice addition to the meal. The Baigan Bharta with sweet corn was a revelation, elevating this classic dish to new heights. The Karwari fish was exceptionally delicious, showcasing the chef's skill in preparing seafood. What truly stood out was the unique 'केळफूल' (kelphool) koftes, made from banana flowers. This innovative creation was a delightful surprise for my taste buds. The service at Mumbai Zing was exceptional. Mr. Rahul Kulkarni, the manager, was incredibly attentive, courteous, and prompt in serving us. It truly added to the overall dining experience. Additionally, the restaurant offered ample parking in the nearby streets, making it convenient for patrons. Mumbai Zing is undeniably a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Indian cuisine in Kensington. Chef Vasaikar and his team have crafted a menu that is not only flavourful but also inventive, making it a standout choice for a memorable dining experience.

Been coming here since I moved to London and it never disappoints. Would recommend the prawn starter, for those who like spice, and the lamb mains, which are cooked perfectly! My absolute favourite restaurant in all of London. The waiters are also very attentive and will remember your favourite dishes if you are a regular.

I have been eating in Indian restaurants in London for 45 years. This is without a shadow of doubt the best by a mile. It beats the fancy plated Tamarind, Benares, Veeraswamy, Chutney mary Michelin bore temples by a country mile. Real food, served properly, cooked expertly and sensibly. Lovely people, great atmosphere, incredible food. We ate in again tonight but they also have a superb delivery service which never fails.

It has the worst Indian food I have ever tried. The rice was dry and burnt, salmon wasn't fresh (probably was from Iceland), daal wasn't even daal and the chicken curry tasted more like sambar. Wouldn't recommend. 0/10

This is from far the best Indian restaurant in London. Since I left the country, each time I am back for holiday I always go to Zing. On every holiday time! the food is exquisite and fine. The price is very good.

I took my daughter and her friends for lunch to Indian Zing on Sunday 23rd July. The food was delicious and the service excellent, the manager was friendly and chatty and produced a surprise dessert with a candle for my daughters birthday although we had not ordered dessert as we were all too full from main course! Then produced spoons for everyone so that we could share. I would definitely recommend. 🤩

Sat outside the front on a warm June Wednesday evening and was not disappointed. Great drinks selection, great food, rapid service. i had the chicken tikka - nicely spicy, succulently soft, beautiful flavour - and my better half had the Lamb Raseela which she loved. For mains I went for the Fish Kawari which again had a nice kick to it (with an extra serving of crunchy dry red chillies) and an amazing blend of flavour with the fish cooked to perfection. My fiancée had the chicken korma, which whilst it wasn't your classic peshwari filling in liquid form in a jar, had a nice salt and sweet contrast with what tasted like a generous amount of stock with it. Delicious! Also I'd recommend getting some bread! The roti and paratha are super crusty and will mop up everything on your plate. Lastly we had the Rasmalai milk dumplings - Indian sweets that took me back to my grandparents in Kolkata - and the lady had the apple and fig muesli - a tad sweet but as long as you have a healthy dose of ice cream to contrast, you'll be ok. Can't believe I've been in West London this long and never discovered this place. Will definitely return!

The food was very nice as was the company. When I got there and sat down... I realised that this is hands down the loudest ever restaurant that I have been to. Felt uncomfortably loud.. ive been to bigger in size and even busier.... and even those places have never been this loud..I could bearly hear the person that I was sitting next to and had to shout just to have a conversation with the people that were sitting on our table. Also the waiters were very unclear about the size of portions... they suggested getting one main dish per person which I found hard to believe. Dishes were really tasty but I couldn't even figure out what I was eating as the dishes were just fully covered in gravies and sauces. If soft music was played in the background I'm sure that other tables would have some courtesy to talk normally instead of yelling. The loudest place I've ever been too... and it was noticeable.
