Fantastic service Delicious food. Highly recommend.

This was, without exaggeration, the worst meal I’ve ever encountered. The chicken tikka, chicken korma, and paneer dishes were overwhelmingly sweet, to the point of being inedible. Not only were they cloyingly sugary, but they also lacked any depth of flavour whatsoever. Desperation led us to add shop-bought curry spice paste at home just to make the gravies remotely edible, which speaks volumes about the quality. If for some reason you find yourself here, perhaps the tandoori might be a safer option, as the curries are utterly atrocious. Honestly, do yourself a favour and spend your money elsewhere—literally anything else would be better.

Amazing traditional Indian dishes and ambiance

Well this was an accidental discovery just around the corner from my Air BnB. It's not fancy from the outside but it's excellent value with lovely food and very nice service. It's a BYO (no corkage fee) with a shop next door that stocks beers and wines. I had the Chana puree starter which was amazing. Followed by the chicken Tikka Masala with pilau rice. All for the very reasonable price of £16:45. Eat here if you're nearby and like great food.

Was recommended this about 6 months ago and have been coming back ever since. Amazing food, friendly staff, prices are unbeatable. Will not use another curry house.

The first time I ordered from this place and definitely the last! Was told our food would be delivered in an hour and 20 minutes, which we was hesitant about, but we decided to wait for it. Only for us to wait around 3hours for our food to be delivered when we ordered around 5:30pm when the restaurant opened and it was delivered to our house at 8:30!!! When we rang the restaurant we were told it would be with us within 15/20 mins but it was delivered another 45minutes later. We had young kids waiting for their food but by the time it was delivered they’d fallen asleep!! We tried negotiating with the restaurant and told them it wasn’t acceptable for us to pay the full price and they initially offered us £3 off our £53 order! A joke😂😂 For the food to arrive freezing cold, soggy and not enjoyable to eat, they agreed for us to pay £40 when we didn’t even want to pay that much! They offered us £13 off our nearly 3 hour late and freezing cold delivery! How they run their business is not done well either! They accept multiple orders from customers just to get money, and send out the orders at the same time with the only 2 drivers they have, no wonder the food arrives freezing! Very bad customer service, the food didn’t have no flavour either and was soggy so definitely wouldn’t recommend getting a delivery from this restaurant, and definitely wouldn’t order again from this restaurant. The first and last time!😂

I had an absolutely terrible experience with this restaurant. I placed an order at 5:30 pm and was told it would arrive in 1 hour 20 minutes. After THREE HOURS of waiting, it finally arrived at 8:30 pm! My younger children were starving, so I had to cook them something else before the food even showed up. When I called to check where the driver was, I was told "15 minutes away" – but that turned into another 45 minutes. I was then told the driver was making *several* other deliveries on the way to my house, which explained why the food arrived stone cold. I had to reheat everything myself, which completely ruined the meal. To make matters worse, when I asked for a discount, I was initially offered a measly £3 off for a £55 order! After some back and forth, I only managed to get £13 off. By the time the food arrived, my kids had already eaten and were asleep. This experience was beyond frustrating. Cold food, terrible service, poor communication, and completely disappointing customer care. I won't be ordering from here again—avoid this place at all costs!

Takeaway food took 2 hours to arrive, after being told that it would take an hour (10 minute drive away from the restaurant). Wouldn't advise getting takeout from them. Staff were not very helpful.

Wonderful food and unbelievable prices.. the whole experience felt elevated. If I lived nearby I would visit often.

Rajput - can’t go wrong, always a solid experience

Lovely place! Great atmosphere, quick service and amazing food! We had the butter chicken and asked to make it a little spicer and it was amazing! Definitely will be coming back!

I had chicken biryani and lamb korai for myself, fireworks in the mouth, ambient flavour. They even give you warm, lemon-scented hand towel after the meal. Main dish is just 8£

Unfortunate first experience at Rajput. I ordered via phone at 6.50pm for a takeaway and was told it would be ready for collection in 30-40 minutes. I arrived at Rajput at 7.30 and I was told “1 min the next order is yours”. I then went on to wait in the restaurant corner for over 40 minutes for my order to arrive! When I chased the manager, he did not even answer me. Food was mediocre and tailored to British rather than authentic Indian; and definitely not worth the wait . I can’t comment on the dine-in experience but I would strongly avoid take-away. Disappointing that the manager was so un-interested in my situation.

Great food... generally busy. We normally get takeout and you can wait quite a while but it has always been worth it.

My partner and I found this restaurant around 2 years ago and even though we moved out of Shepherds Bush we keep coming back as it’s such a great restaurant! The food is the best and the price is so reasonable.

Dropped in with a couple of friends to avoid cooking, one evening in the gap between Xmas and New Year. The place was close to full with a large group (12 or so), having a reserved table We ordered a starter each and a variety of meat-free main dishes along with a vegetable biriyani and a plain nan. All the vegetarian dishes, chick peas, aloo gobi, mushroom, even the biriyani tasted exactly the same, a bit bland with no hit of flavour.

Korma curry was great. Will visit again.

Ordered a meal for delivery. I was promised 1 hour. It arrived after 2 hours. Cold. I refused the order and the staff attitude was truly awful. I have been a regular at this restaurant for over 25 years so it’s disappointing. They should care that they have lost a loyal customer but they arnt. That’s a real shame.

After a day of pubbage and watching QPR, we fell on this place like starving animals. They carved us out a space (as we hadn’t booked) and took great care of us. And the food (from a very traditional menu) was lovely - spicy and in generous portions. A happy find and one we’d return to.

A hidden gem in Shepherds Bush. BYOB with an off license next door! Small and intimate, the staff have been there for years, and the food is *chef's kiss* and affordable.

We went on a Thursday evening, 4 people, without reserve in advance. We had to wait a bit, because it was incredibly busy. The waitress was very kind, and the food was delicious!

It was my first time at this Indian.unfotunately the waiter knocked my glass of red wine over went all over my new trousers. If he had apologised it would have been different but he said nothing. Spoilt the night if he had apologised it would have been different .never ate my food took it home.

I took takeaway. Chicken Patia & Madras. But both of them wasn’t thick sauce & chicken were hard. Patia taste better than Madras though. Naan bread was soggy as well. It took an hour and 5 minutes to arrive! It’s too late to be sorry eating at 9pm! First and last time to order, sorry…

Delicious food, very pleasant staff. Would definitely come again. If I had one criticism it would be that the restaurant is extremely brightly lit.

Was a little taken back when we arrived, a little dated and quite noisy plus the bring your own beer might have put me off if I’d have realised but food was spot on. One of the nicest curries I’ve had for a while, chicken melted in your mouth and so flavoursome (to say I wasn’t even hungry I cleared my plate) an added bonus was it was extremely reasonably priced.

The best indian restaurant that I have ever visited in my life. The food was outstanding, the lamb super soft and tender, and the service was as if they can read our minds, always one step ahead. I will always come back here when i visit London.

My *favourite* Indian in London. I have been coming here for 20+ years. Family run, delicious food and a bountiful menu. Every dish tastes distinct and they can cater to your preferred spice level or special additions... looking forward to my next visit

Slow + slapdash service. Not good value for money. Very good carrot + coconut dip with good popadums. Bland onion bhaji, good prawn starter. Salmon main had little taste .Nice coconut ice cream came with plastic wrapping still on, tacky . Bottle of water not chilled enough. BYOB - Bring Your Own Bottle -as not licenced to sell alcohol. Outside tables. First time here, not coming back.

Absolutely wonderful! This has been my second time visiting Rajput, after being introduced to it by a family member. Rajput is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant that you won't want to miss! Everything is tasty beyond belief - you could pick anything off the menu and be blown away! They also have lots of great vegetarian options as well!The staff are so incredibly kind and welcoming, which really makes eating here a wonderful experience. The prices are great too, you could easily grab dinner for yourself for under £20. The only thing I would warn someone about are the large portions, so you better come hungry! 🤤😉 Make sure to visit Rajput the next time you are near!

The best Indian ever. Restaurant is small so can feel a little claustrophobic if full. However can't fault food and service. BYO wine and beer.

Excellent food at reasonable prices. Under £30 for two courses for 2 people, including sides. Bring your own bottle. Try sharing the Gosht Kalia lamb and Chicken Jalfrezi for pairing that’s all warm-glow spicy flavour heat and no burn. Cosy restaurant so book ahead to avoid disappointment.

We have been coming here for the last 20 years and we would drive from Chelsea just to eat at this family ran restaurant. The taste is authentic as the food is made when ordered hence the slight long wait time. Not the typical Indian restaurant where food is made in advance. Well worth it and when they get busy I would pre-order for a take out. All members of the staff are friendly and on first name basis. Well worth the effort to eat here !

As reliably good as when it was my local in 1985-2000. I still like to return every year or so, even though it is well out of my way. Good food nice service.

A hidden gem, offering good food, at reasonable prices. £50 for 3 adults for dinner including soft drinks. Large menu with plenty of dishes to choose from. The manager is a really nice chap, keen to look after you. They don't serve alcohol, but allow you to bring your own or use the off licence next door.

I love the food at Rajput and the services is brilliant. You will noticed that they kept the prices very low.

Since our regular or 10 years - Chilies of Brackenbury - has sadly tanked of late, we have been auditioning other indian restaurants in the area. After our first tryout with Rajput, we may well settle here. Food was exceptional and only surpassed by the level of service. It was running late but - for the first time in my delivery curry experience - the restaurant called me to apologise, before I had a chance to chase. Even with the need for old-school ordering by phone, we will definately be eating from here again. And looking forward to eating in as well!

I have never ever been disappointed!! Raj Put is our absolute go-to!! The fact you can bring your own bottle is amazing! Especially with majestic across the road! We’ve eaten in and got take aways so many times and they’ve been insanely good every single time! I’ll never go anywhere else again.

We went to Rajput as a group of 20 for a work colleagues leaving do. The food was absolutely delicious, service was also fantastic. Food arrived on time with the right amount of spice. Its a private business and we wanted to support local rather than the big food chains.

Usually a delicious takeaway, hot and tasty but tonight it took a long time to arrive and it wasn’t so hot, maybe warm and also not very tasty. It seems as if they forgot my order and quickly put it together. Very disappointed tonight.

This traditional English-Indian Restaurant has been excellent for longer than most of its customers have been alive. At the weekend, it's vibrant with families and during the week it's quiet and gentle: the staff (family) will chat. The food is consistently top-notch, good range - lots of old favourites and house specialities are truly special. Service is, as a family-run place, personal and relaxed. 10/10 for the chutney dish! Excellent VFM. Great take-away, too. BYOB from the next door shop.

I haven't ever felt unwelcome like tonight in Rajput restaurant, we haven't booked so we walked in to see if we can eat . As soon we walk in ,they were sit there in very rude way , I asked for baby chair the waiter went to look he said I can not find one let me ask my manager, the manager was shouting no baby chair no. I was shocked i took my family and went out straight away. Very bad experience

Attention to detail. Dishes cooked to customers requirements. Nice balance of spices to each dish provides an authentic flavour. Have eaten in Michelin star restaurants but always return to Rajput for its outstanding food and amiable service .

The food here is consistently excellent. I do have a major gripe: it is the slowest Indian takeaway service in West London - regularly well over 1hr 30 mins to get it delivered. That said, it doesn't stop us going back again and again.

Visited Rajput for the first time and couldn’t have been more impressed. I had the vegetarian Indian Thali which came with lots of different little dishes - they were all delicious. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff very helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

A wounderful chance to experience the kind of service usually associated with very high end hotels or committed to by- gone days. The food sits in a tradition established in the 1970's. I say this affectionately and with respect. If you choose to look deeper into the menu there are some real authentic gems. The prices are very reasonable too with the option of BYO with no corkage charge. Give this delightful family restaurant a try. You won't be disappointed.

Good food and I don't think is expensive. Not insisting on taking more food that you can eat what is a relieve.

Excellent Indian cuisine in friendly, popular local restaurant which also does great takeaway food. No drinks licence so BYO.

Delicious classic Indian food prepared to requirements and served with a friendly smile! Found the two chilli heat rating quite mild so if you like it hot hot don't be afraid to ask for the extra kick! Naans were perfect crispy one side and fluffy on top stuffed to perfection. Plus the prawn Puri starter is JUST like my nan use to make -i will definitely be back very soon! Thank you for welcoming us.

Recently discovered after being introduced to this restaurant by some of my friends who are also local to their area who have also commented of being loyal, longstanding and regular customers for almost a decade. Whilst I was treated to their food one evening on a special occasion for a big celebratory event as a foodie treat, I must admit it was one of the best Indian food I've had in years as often times they've fared quite mediocre and average at best from my past experiences! I can see why this family-ran formula and success has been working so well and look forward to coming back again in the near future.

Bad food. Had requested for spicy food. They had recommended 2 vegetables. Both of them had tomato sauce and sweet base. I had strictly warned about my preferences to Hamza who took my order. Its worst food i ever had. Dont even prefer by mistake. We had to throw everything in the bin. Wasted 28.20£.

This really is a special restaurant. The food is always fresh, delicious and just as a curry should be. The staff are so nice and welcoming - I could not recommend it more - it serves the best Indian food we have found in South West London . It is very reasonably priced as well and they are doing a marvellous job since they opened during Covid.

Excellent Service! Always welcoming and so well mannered! Proper table linen including napkins. Consistently delicious food at very reasonable prices! Do go and try for yourselves!
