Taste Of Khyber in Birmingham

Food was rubbish no customer service and were disrespectful won’t recommend anyone using it or dining. Asked politely to replace and I was told that this is how we cook we will not replace anything eat or don’t eat

Food was served like they are throwing it away no taste nothing

Lamb charsi karahi, kabali pilau and afghani tikka was really nice the only let down was the chicken sajji which i think was bland.

Not a good service. The place is very busy but there is no organisation. You could end up waiting over 30 mins

Has just been redecorated and is very comfortable and spacious. The food is delicious and the portions are great. I love the biryani and their kabuli pulao. The carrot topping is delicious .

Well been there first time but they add old grilled chicken on to biriyani. While reach home chicken turn into solid rock. Sour taste over cooked burn chicken. Not suitable to eat. Avoid this place next over charge for old over cooked smelly chicken

Absolutely disgusting! Typical Pakistani place who obviously don’t pay their utility bills on time hence no heating nor hot water in freezing weather. Food was tasteless and seemed like it had been warmed up from night before. Never going here again. First & last time

Came here based on 2 people's recommendation had the chapli kebabs, lamb tikka and chicken charsi karahi. Curry was spot on freshly cooked very well seasoned, kebabs very good but needed abit more salt but ratio of everything else was perfect and the show of the night was the lamb tikka if you haven't tried this I highly recommend it. Don't knock this places until you try it.

Fantastic dinner and wonderful taste and the happiness was doubled when Snow fall started that evening. We'll visit again and again. Insha Allah

My first time trying this place. Ordered a Masala Fish, Nan, Lamb Karahi and Chicken Karahi. Ive not had the curries yet but the Masala fish was soooo good!! This place is definitely a keeper! Staff were very friendly and polite. The place was quite busy which is always a good indicator of food freshness.

My family and I have enjoyed this Afghani Fawlty Towers joint for years. If you're into decor and ambience, do not come here. However. If tasting the most incredible Northern Pakistani cuisine is in your mission, then this place will deliver in more ways than one. Try the charsi lamb, the kabuli pulao and Afghani tikka, finish off with some mint tea and sweet almonds. Highly recommended.

Absolutely brilliant experience every time, Khyber never disappoints, Atif is always very kind, friendly, attentive and all the other staff are very nice too, food is brilliant and it’s a very nice experience every time.

It used to be very good but they have failed to retain their food quality. We ordered Charsi tikka and kabule pulaao but charsi tikka was pathetic. It was old/rotten cooked mutton. We had to drink a whole litre of Sprite to avoid vomitting it out. Will never go there again.
