Food is second to none, pure old school Asian dishes, simple and nothing fancy. Meat and Chicken Shatkora highly recommended

Ordered to take out. Gave me the wrong order went all the way back took me half an hour. The main owners said the food wasn't theres clearly it was there food didnt even apologise very rude. For all the inconvenience they gave me a can. stay away don't expect any money back when they are at fault.

Visited last night with some friends for the first time. Food and service was excellent. However they don't take card payment.

Placed an order for delivery, which went through. According to google the restaurant was opened. My delivery failed to arrive as they weren’t even open!! Would NEVER trust them enough to order again!! Absolute joke!

Very bad service waited over 15 minutes for the waiter to come and take order very unprofessional the meat was nothing special darka was burnt wouldn't recommend the price was different on menu and they charged a lot more

Came here after many years, new ownership but same quality food. Service was great and food was delicious. Good portions and prices. Meat bhuna and prawn puree highly recommended. Menu is vast and food arrived fairly quickly. Will definitely be back as its so good!

5* simply for the meat bhuna. Was recommended by a friend and I was not let down. Very tasty curry cooked to perfection. Had 4 chapati, pickle salad, green salad, fries and chutney with it. Cannot fault it all. Will definitely be returning for the meat bhuna. Very good customer service as well.

Very nice food .. proper curry house

Classic old school curries that are just like home or the best restaurants. They’re not fancy but the food does all of the talking. The keema naan is amazingly light and fluffy. The curries are great and the service is good. Nobody taking photos of their food is a bonus.

It's better than average. Prices are good but portions are a little smaller and mixed grill over cooked...way over cooked....but I would come back.

Food is overpriced. Lamb was not fresh and was cold. The owner was rude and appeared to be racist only because we asked the price of Tea before ordering. Decor looks old and place doesn’t look like it been cleaned for ages, considering it is covid, I would advice against this place. No receipt given I believe we were overcharged. Owner thought we going to run off bc we chose to sit by the door bc it was hot, (he went over to close the door). Go over the road to Dera there food is beautiful. I regret setting foot in this place. Tea was nice though

Service began with hello but ended with a awkward silence. The taste of the food brought it down to 1 star. Around a year ago I came here and food was ok, not 5 star but at least 3 to 3.5. This time it's gone down to 1. There was no taste on the bhuna meat the saag in the chicken did not taste like saag it tasted tinned and bitter. To top it off we all tasted the daal and we could taste burnt flavour, when we gave feedback we were told it is not burnt although you can see the floating burnt chillies in it. After which it was a very awkward silence and good bye from the workers. We shall give it a miss next time 🕐

To say this is massive disappointment is an understatement - when the tarka daal is sent out with a burnt tarka and the owner / waiter / chef all rolled into one doesn't acknowledge the problem (and even refuses to taste it himself) then that really should tell you all you need to know... This is a famous curry house with taxi drivers who can't talk highly enough of the lamb bhuna - but we were left perplexed because what is served is your standard curry house lamb in base gravy (and not a great one at that), not an actual bhuna. Similarly the chicken saag was met poorly, too. Mixed grill the same as any other place on the Coventry Road - tough as leather boots. The paratha were not flaky and crispy as they should be, basically a roti given the once over with some fat on the pan. I repeat: disappointed.

Never been here before today but thought i’d try this place for some shish kebabs to take home and have with my food, i bought 4 shish kebabs @ £1.50 each. They were nasty shish kebabs, a disgrace that this place thinks they are a good quality and even more disgraceful that they charged what they did, had far better pre cooked ones at local curry junction for 70p each. Honestly can’t remember ever having worse.

Lamb bumna is ok. But it’s way too oily! It’s stains way table and kitchen worktop and my towels pretty much stains everything. Quite dispicable and very annoying. Please sort out the oil issue

Raznur is very good, the service is great and so is everything else the food taste like a 5 star restaurant. I would highly recommend raznur cafe!!!!

Anoche fui con algunos amigos a probar este lugar, ¡después de escuchar todas las críticas sobre lo bueno que es el cordero Bhuna! Bueno, por decir lo menos, fue terrible sobre poder con jeera en polvo. El dall era igual de malo. Pedí chappatis el camarero nos dio tandoori Roti, que estaba hecha. La ensalada de cebolla estaba vieja.Lo único bueno fue (mi compañía de amigos) los papadams y la salsa de tamarindo. Oh, ¿mencioné que el lugar estaba absolutamente sucio, más el camarero convencido de haber perdido cualquier voluntad de vivir? !No volveré a este lugar desagradable en el corto plazo. . . . .

New management, new chef terrible cheap food and the prices have increased. Poor effort made since it's quite you can tell tikkah is at least day old. Don't waste your money it's dying business trying to kepp hold of old reputation.

Probably the best curry house in Birmingham . Doesn’t look the part but definitely is. Only problem being is the portions are too small

My old boss used to love this place so used to end up going here once a week lamb bunnah is nice and rich but it is very heavy for stomach if you are going to eat late at night you will not sleep well may be have small portion. Most of the time this place isn't busy which is good because it's not very big owner has done well to get so many tables in here

Came across this hidden gem after many friends recommendations, maybe not the best deco for a classic restaurant nor delightful workers but...mark my words they do have the best lamb bhuna ever! But do tell them to ease off the oil lol

If you like quite food and no decor then this is the place to go for your lamb buna.

Food was nice but waiter had an aporling attitude. I enjoyed my food but the waiter put me of. They need to just sort waiter out other than that everything was fine

Decor is bad. Lighting is horrible. But none of that matters once you've had the lamb bhuna. Oh, and the popadoms with the mixed pickles. Amazing.

Best dishes anywhere and I've had them all over the land. May not be as lavish as some fancy restaurants that focus on design and interior but ultimately its the food that matters and this is quite simply the place which serves the very best.

Decent food, friendly staff not bad in regards of value for money

Me vinieron a comer aquí con un amigo hace poco y el camarero parecía que había perdido la voluntad de vivir! No parecía haber molestado con cualquier cosa!La comida era de verdad horribles, ningún esfuerzo puesto en cualquiera de los platos que teníamos los langostinos como entrantes era uno acaba de cortar en trozos más pequeños, las chuletas de cordero eran sosas y honestamente sé que podría haber hecho un trabajo mejor en casa!El cordero bhuna era insípido y parecía que había sido aguadas, el Naga de pollo que pedimos no tenía ni siquiera una pizca de Naga! Cuando le pregunté al camarero que literalmente "olió' mi comida si tuviera Naga en juró que tenía! Que estoy 100% seguro no tienen!El plato que fue comprado fuera tenía una mancha de curry, cuando me indicó que el camarero, sencillamente limpiado con un trapo ... Cómo el infierno es este lugar sigue abierto???Yo y mi colega han tenido una mala estómago ya!

The famous signature dish is the lamb bhuna which is really authentic really good in fact it's brilliant which is nice with rice or nan bread. The restaurant is very small with no more that 8-10 table the decor definitely needs updating

El bhuna en este lugar especialmente el cordero bhuna es auténtico y recién hecho. La comida puede ser fácilmente adaptados y es servido con prontitud y caliente.El Nan y el arroz no son de mi gusto, pero los chappatis chappatis son reales.Un plato muy bien cocinado. La decoración no es lujoso y tampoco lo es el exterior. La comida no todos hablan en este establecimiento. No hay alcohol se permite fumar en las instalaciones.

It's okay. nothing to write home about. meat buna is nice. that is the only thing I have. changed a few chef's lately.

Raznur is old established restaurant,famouse for its meat bhuna, i have been a few times and the food is great.
