it took 1 hour and 30 mins to arrive, even though the app was saying enjoy your food we ended up phoning them for them to say it's on its way it was 20 mins after the call when we finally got our food.

Great tasting food, arrived hot, would highly recommend

Food was great, no problems with the quality, temperature or taste. Just a shame they said the food had been delivered half an hour before it had.

first time ordering from here. food was amazing with really generous portion sizes. delivery was really quick with the food still hot on arrival. very friendly delivery driver. Will definitely be ordering again

I don't live far from the restaurant so it does come early which to me is good. The food was hot when it arrived the chow mein was gorgeous the veg still a little crunchy. I love their food and will order again

All the food tasted funny like a burnt oil taste and the satay sauce tasted nothing like satay sauce the only thing that was ok about the box where the chips

This was a nice Munchbox however they poured a ton of salt all over it which ruined the meal. It really did not need it and my wife has high blood pressure which could be dangerous. Very disappointed and won't be going back!

Good Chinese food. The signature fried noodles are delicious. The sweet and sour chicken is delicious.

Chicken balls were that dry and bristly I could of shaved my legs with them noodles looked the part but were limp as a dandelion spring rolls edible I can assure you all this place does NOT "taste of china"

Can't fault the delivery times which are always early. The food however was bland, tasteless, and the rice dry. Disappointed.

90 mins to deliver and the salt and pepper beef was was cold and dry. everything else was nice...

The takeaway was not great with poor ingredients and lacking proper taste. When I checked after we'd had the takeaway I discovered the Food Standards Agency - Scores on the Doors was just 1 meaning major improvement is necessary. No wonder Taste of China don't display this notice. We won't this takeaway again as the Food Standards Agency is concerned about hygiene of this place. That’s why I gave it a 1 star review. Update 02/05/2024 - thank you for your response to my review 7 yrs ago. I think in the intervening period new management has taken over and Taste of China is no longer a 1 star for hygiene, it’s now 5 stars. Since it’s been a 5 star we have come back (probably happened a few years ago) and the menu and food have been brilliant. So well done and keep the good work up. I have now upgraded the review to 5 stars

The salt and pepper chips were extremely poor. The rice was ok but nothing special. The duck was very chewy and fatty. Wouldn’t be rushing to order here again

Fantastic food and delivery - ordering again

Ordered two munch boxes. Found a raw chicken wing in one box, phoned the takeaway and was told this isn’t possible. Assured her it was and her response was it’s only one wing no full refund without bringing the full box back. Sub par food with sub par service.

First time of ordering from here. App was easy to use. Liked being able to pay with Applepay. Food delivered promptly. We ordered dry spare ribs, chicken chow mein, chips and a fried rice. Food was hot and tasty. Will order from here again. 👍🏻

On the spicy side but nice. Bit expensive given you don’t get free rice. Overall though would order again.

Absolutely disgusting Chinese got duck which was just a bone and fat and all the meat in the chow mein was slimey all went straight in bin. Avoid this place it's massively gone downhill over years

Good food quick friendly service

My delivery was due between 19:45pm to 20:05pm. I called them on two occasions after 20:05pm to be told driver was ten minutes away.. The driver turned up at my house at 20:37pm, no apologie for the delay at all. Then to add to my frustration the food was tasteless , no flavour none whatsoever. To be charged £5 for delivery that was over 30 mins late and £25 for food that had no flavour, I will definitely not be ordering from here again.

Not happy at all, we’ve been a customer for years and the quality has gone down so much. The munchie box used to be so good and now you’ve filled it with chips and less items. All the chicken was dry, chips were stale. So disappointing won’t be coming back

Ordered Sat. Absolutely disgusting, £30.For 2 chicken salt& pepper wings,special curry,rice large pancake roll.The whole slop was totally inevitable. Chicken black bones(old) sent off to trading standards this place, should be Shut down.

Munch box isn’t as stated. No egg fried rice or spring rolls were included like they were suppose to be. When I rang they basically said I was lying. Chips were cold. Delivery driver was rude.

Ordered from here n Christmas Eve via Uber eats. Waited beyond the time they said it would be delivered and when I contacted the shop they said it would be a further 30 minutes. The shop then cancelled the order with no notice and my family were left without anything to eat. When contacting the shop they claimed their shop isn’t on Uber eats when the shop is clearly on there and I ordered from it the week before.

Superb beef curry and chips....our lass loved her lemon chicken. Best meat from a Chinese I've had in ages and very fast delivery...under 45 mins delivery from order. My new Chinese takeaway for sure!

The food was ok but I am outraged at the cost of the food on UberEats compared to the menu that was given on delivery! Absolutely disgusting

The best chinese ive had in a long time, i ordered the singapore fried rice, absolutley loved it, well balanced rice dish with plenty of really good quality meat inside, would highly reccomend and will deniatley be here when i next fancy chinese

This place is easily the best place for Chinese food in Yeadon. The chicken dishes are excellent and their crispy noodles are absolutely to die for. I would definitely come back here in a heartbeat.

Have been a good customer for a few years, I feel i have been ripped off, ordered special fryed rice with ok sauce, from the menu at 7.40.only to be told it was 2 quid dearer when delivered. I rang up to see why only to be told rice and sauce was separate, so don't believe what the menu says why only to be told that it was separate

I wouldn't usually leave a bad review but I feel like I've been ripped off. I ordered from this shop by mistake thinking it was a different shop and it was a mistake. Food was absolute filth and over priced. Would have been happier with Chow mein super noodles.

Portions were a little undersized and food was a bit pricey but overall it was amazing I think they tried to get away with less chicken bites with onion and peppers but was great

Food below average. First order.never ever post these things but felt I had to. The ribs were all gristle. Shredded beef was just tasteless batter. Only nice things were the noodles. Everything else avoid. Won't be ordering again. So disappointing.

Had a hiccup a couple of orders ago , but since then can honestly say food is absolutely gorgeous, salt and pepper chicken wings , special curry and delivered ahead of estimated delivery time. Bob on......

Recommended food: Salt @ pepper chicken wings /chips and ribs Beef curry is always my favourite The aromatic duck is whole quarter crispy and meat is remain juicy with amazing hoisin sauce Sze zhuan TOFu is recommended for vegetarians but a little spicy Chicken fried rice Prawn toast and spring rolls is also my favourite

Food was awful tonight. Firstly told the order will be 20 mins then 45 mins later had to chase them. They then turned up with half the food. I ordered the Shezhuan Beef and I know for a fact there is no nuts in this dish but when it arrived its covered in Cashew nuts. When we unpacked the bag, half our order was missing so waited again for it to arrive and when it did the egg fried rice tasted and smelt like rotten fish and the prawn toast was a tangy taste. Never before have I had something as awful as this. When you ring the shop all we keep getting told is they know that some of the food ain't been right but a new chef - why on earth send this out then. Definitely on my blacklist now

I hate the food here it was awful people speak very rudely and my crispy beef tasted like charcoal on Minecraft , I had diarrhoea that night due to the Minecraft pork chops they fed me i want a refund and NEVER ORDER FROM THERE . PS, its coming home

We order from here 3 night's a week, always enjoy but have taken a star off because sometimes they arrive late...acceptable over the last few weeks, horrendous weather though! Credit to the driver, customer service skills are on point! A*

Ordered online, driver nice guy when arrived not his fault the order was wrong rang straight away said they’d send the correct order by the time it arrived it took that long we were no longer hungry and what we got wasn’t that good was suppose to be a treat won’t be going there again people avoid

I ordered some food from here using JustEat a while back and it took two hours to arrive, was flat cold, inedible swill I wouldn't feed to my dog. Having paid online in advance on my debit card and not being a vindictive sort of person, I didn't complain; just binned the food and decided to simply not spend my money there again. This restaurant then decided to illegally add my mobile phone number to their own database and send me discount offers if I order through their own website. These are premium rate texts costing £1 a time and trying to cancel just puts you on a sucker's list where all and sundry start sending you unsolicited texts and charging you for them. In summary, avoid this place like the plague. The food is garbage, turns up late (if at all), complain to them and they'll tell you a pack of lies and as far as one can they sell your confidential information such as phone numbers and credit card details to organised crime groups.

This place is very rude, I am a vegetarian and ordered veggie spring rolls as I was eating then I noticed there was meat inside I rang up to let them know and the man on the phone said I was lying and was so rude he hung the phone up. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS JOKE OF A PLACE!!!!
